I agree with the other posts ! The employees are brutal and RUDE. The products take forever to come in (if they even ordered it when originally requested). Then they take a credit card to "keep on file" - even though insurance covers everything? ANNOYING! NEVER AGAIN! Try Lombard Pharmacy on Main Street for medical supplies. People are very nice and well organized. read more

Visited this shop and the staff could not have been more helpful. The (I think) owner went above and beyond to point me in the right direction. If I ever need anything medical equipment-wise I'll be going back. Great customer service is always remembered. read more

Horrible place. Family member had to rent a wheelchair from them. The wheelchair worked fine, but that was about the only good part of dealing with Denson's. 1. They kept invoicing my wife & I for the payments, even though we had no financial responsibility for family member. 2. After we RETURNED the wheelchair, they kept sending us invoices. 3. We received a certified letter from them stating they were going to send us to a collections agency if we did not pay. Keep in mind that everything is in my mother-in-law's name, not ours. And when we returned the wheelchair, we got a receipt stating that we did so. We copied the receipt and wrote them a letter stating we are not financially responsible for the wheelchair and the wheelchair has been returned. Denson's recordkeeping is horrible. They are unorganized and can't even keep track of the equipment they rent out. I will never do business with them again. read more

I have been going to this company for my ostomy supplies for 20 years. I was abruptly and curtly told last week they will not order my supplies for me any more because I have Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance and "they do not make enough money off of my order". As a faithful customer who has given them my business for 20 years I think this is a short sighted, bad business practice. They did not try and do anything to see if they could still accommodate my needs while trying to meet their margin. I wonder if they discontinued all BCBS ostomy customers or just me? They also did not give me any referral of another company to go through, they just said I will most likely need to get my products in the mail from now on. Secondly, the woman who orders the ostomy supplies, Pam, is the only customer friendly employee working in the establishment. The Denson family employees and other employees are curt, abrupt, and do not in any way seek to make the customer feel welcomed and at ease. They come across with a rude attitude that they are doing you a favor, not that you are the customer that should be treated with prompt, warm, friendly service. If it wasn't for Pam in the ostomy department, I think I would have taken my business elsewhere before being forced to do so by the Denson family. read more

We have been coming here for over 20 years. In the past the record keeping was in fact terrible. It was an antiquated system. They are now up to date on their record keeping so that should not be an issue. What has been an issue for us over the years is having to deal with the people. I have to say I have yet to find a person who is nice. They are just terrible people to deal with. They must forget who the CUSTOMER"S are. We go to Densons for ostomy supplies. They used to have more in stock but they can get them in a timely manner. Both my husband and I dread having to pick up the supplies. They are just mean. We've swiitched pharmacies just due to the workers attitudes but have gone back only because they can get the supplies quickly. They have the ostomy supplies you need but be ready to do battle with those mean women. read more

This company went way above and beyond when I needed a wheelchair for my father ASAP. Late on a Saturday afternoon, hours after the store was closed, Sue came (from her home?) and met me at Denson's back door, let me in, helped me select a rental chair, and even helped load it in my car. She sent me on my way after taking my name and phone number, saying someone would call me Monday for a credit card number. Denson's really saved the day for me! read more

Ordered prescription Jobst compression knee highs in January. After waiting a a couple weeks and not getting them, I called to see what was up. They said they would be in in a week. The week came and went and I heard nothing. I called back and talked to the manager. They were holding out on getting them until Jobst would offer them a better price, said she would get back to me in a week. It was April before they got back to me, 4 months from the time I originally ordered the product. The three month hold up was strictly about the price Jobst was giving them. Meanwhile they had accepted insurance payout for the product even though I had not received the product. Obviously the customer is the last thing they are concerned about! Would not recommend Denson's to anyone! Needless to say I quit waiting for them and bought the stockings online. read more

We have used Denson's for asthma supplies for several years. they are always friendly and helpful, and have called providers to straighten out questions on the spot. Never had a problem with billing, and they always have what we needed in stock. read more

The woman I dealt with was very stern about not using my insurance for a walker I received at the hospital and for a knee scooter that my doctor ordered. I talked to my insurance and I was told to go to Denson's so it all would be 80% covered. She refused to use my insurance insisting that they would not pay and wanted me to pay upfront $160. I left without it and also paid $42. for the walker. I will call insurance again on Monday but it is way that she acted toward me that I really had the problem with. I also used to get my ostomy supplies there until I was upset enough by the way I was treated to go somewhere else. The new place treats my so well and will go out of their way to help me. I will not be going to Denson's again. read more
