I went online and found The Compounder's website where they offered the product I wanted along with more information on its use. I contacted them via email and not only did they respond very quickly but they provided me with different volume price options (which were excellent because I wanted to buy multiple units). The issue with the product I ordered was that it needed to be refrigerated and since we're in the mid-end of August it definitely needed special overnight shipping. When I called to officially place my order (paid by phone), they quickly recognized me from my emails, pulled up my information, answered my product questions, and had already gotten multiple shipping quote-options for me to choose from. The shipping was expensive, which I had expected, but I ended up going with a quote for $29 next-day delivery. At that time they did tell me that the quoted price might change. When I received the package I was surprised with how well packaged it was; I must admit I was very worried that the shipping process might spoil the product. However, the product was incredibly well packaged with multiple ice packs in a thick foam inner box to conceal from the heat. The shipping ended up being $55 instead of the $29 but they were nice enough not to charge me the price difference this first time. I'm happy with the product and the personal service of The Compounder. I liked the fact that they added multiple sheets of information on the product I purchased along with my order invoice, and a note stating the shipping price difference for future reference. You get that mom/pops community type feel with this place and I for one am a fan for places like this.

You can pick up in Aurora or pay to have your RX delivered to your house via UPS or FedEx. unfortunately, I'm super sensitive to so many different things especially meds I had a reaction to the pure compounded med because I'm used to taking synthetic drugs with fillers.. ;-( finally after a pure clean compounded med & multiple generic manufacturers & horrid reactions the Brand Name drug helps me. The entire staff and the Dr. were very kind and willing to assist. I really felt comfortable during the eye exam which was completed efficiently. I scoped out a new pair of regular glasses and now just have to wait until January to get sunglasses. They were very patient explaining what my coverages were through my insurance. They immediately put me and my son at ease. It was ridiculously clean, I saw employees using hand sanitizer multiple times. Everything was covered in plastic. The doctor was AMAZING with my son. She explained everything, kept him talking so he wasn't focused too much on what was being done. It was quick and there were no tears. She explained everything to me and him afterwards. What I thought was going to be a horrible experience turned out to be a very positive one. If you're looking for kind and patient people, this is the place for you!

They seem to do a really good job of providing the lowest out of pocket expense for their medications and the staff is fabulous. While I live nearby the pharmacy, it's awesome that they will deliver your medications for free (next day!), because I'm a busy gal! Healy will also take the time to contact your insurance company for you and they offer 24-hour phone support. They specialize in fertility, oncology, hepatitis, gastroenterology, HIV, rheumatoid arthritis, and dermatology, but they do stock many non-specialty medications. The pharmacists are always helpful and willing to answer any questions you have. I highly suggest Healy for your special medication needs!
