I have been in need of a new prosthesis and bras for awhile. I have been going to Naturally Yours for about 20 years. I made an appointment and arrived a little early. I gave them my new insurance information and proceeded to get measured and was able to choose new bras and the most comfortable prosthesis I have ever had.My fitter Lori, was excellent and very knowledgeable. This was a very unfortunate experience for my sister and family. Let me preface by saying the hair piece is amazing. Beautiful. Perfect fit. Looks so natural. The employee who fit us today- showed ZERO empathy, no compassion- she rushed us in and out of the appt. All business. No compassion. Did not show an ounce of patience when explaining anything- got out clippers to shave without ANY warning or explanation. I had to stop her to make sure my sister (who was NOT told this or prepared for it) was ok to proceed. 37 year old mother, dealing with cancer- I'm an oncology nurse. Let's just say thank god she has support at home, because this was unfortunate. I can go on, but it's not worth it. This facility left its mark. We would never return and I will be sure to let my plethora of patients know that if you are looking for compassion, patience and empathetic service during the hardest time of your life, this is NOT the place to go. The service could have been better. My wait time was longer than the service as it was my first visit. I was complaining about fitting as it felt too big. I am a size 34 and I was fitted with size 38. I requested to try on a smaller size 36. It fits better. read more

Waste of my time. Jean told me a year ago to come back when my hair was healthy so she could match my color. A long drive out to willow room again. The had absolutely nothing to offer for a topper in their inventory in my blond color. She knew I was blond the first time. I was so happy to get my post-mastectomy bra with the help of the staff at Naturally Yours. I went home with everything I needed to make me look and feel normal. The bras are comfortable. The appointment took 45 minutes. I tried on bras and was then fitted with various prosthetic pads into the bra sleeves to make sure the look was even and natural and that I was comfortable. I'm very pleased with the personal, professional service. After making several online bra and prosthetic purchases and being greatly dissatisfied, I am so happy with the purchases from Naturally Yours. I know that whatever I wear, I will look natural. I am fortunate enough to have health insurance that will cover much of the significant cost of the prostheses and bras. The fitting is by appointment, which allows for a private experience. After a double mastectomy due to breast cancer I went in to this shop for a breast prosthesis fitting. Laura at the front desk and Lori the fitter were both very nice and patient. However at checkout when the owner/manager came to talk to me about a question I had, I was appalled that she didn't have a mask on! This is a business that works with cancer patients going through chemo and are immunocompromised. AND on top of that she actually came towards me to hug me for some odd reason. Even in pre covid times you would never hug a chemo patient! This women is clueless or just doesn't care about her clientele. I think its the latter and its all about the money! It is shocking that these women are so completely insensitive! This is a business run by women, servicing women, during the most traumatic time of their lives. That is why it is so unbelievable that they show no compassion for their clients who are in such a fragile condition both physically and emotionally. To them it is a business, and only a business. I recently had the pleasure of working with Lori. I was in need of a topper to cover areas where my hair has thinned to reveal much more scalp than hair! We went through many pieces until we found exactly the right one to address my problem. As I have not worked with a hair piece before, Lori has been wonderful, showing me how to position and style my hair to blend in naturally. She also cut and shaped the topper to fit wit the style I wanted. When I made an appointment to further style and cut, she could not have been more gracious and helpful. Unusual and appreciated business that caters to specific needs of women undergoing cancer treatment - specifically wigs, hats/hairpieces, and other prosthetics. Owner is very experienced and arranges individual appointments to help fit you for wigs. While we very much valued her expertise and recommendations, we had a poor overall experience. We now have a wig - different from what we ordered/expected - and will not return. As she is catering to a very vulnerable and emotional population, it pains me to say I can't recommend going here as I feel we were taken advantage of. PROS: 1) Good assortment of wigs on site, to help you choose style/color/type. 2) Very knowledgeable owner with advice on looks/color/style that could be right for you. 3) Easy parking. CONS: 1) No warrantee - on wigs or service. No documentation of any type given to us with the wig stating what it is and what the warrantee is. Over the phone, the owner said a 30 day store warrantee when I pushed, but this is not documented and there is no manufacturer warrantee on the wig. $500 wig! 2) Bait and switch We ordered the "best handmade wig" brand/manufacturer that she recommended. She quoted us a price of $500 for wig + styling. Told us it would have to come from Germany, and she would call us the next day to tell us to confirm the shipping date and make a return appointment for fitting. Didn't call us the next day, or the next, or the next.... SO my mom worries. I call. Receptionist is very short with me, and confused.... and finally comes back to the phone and says the wig has been ordered, is in stock and will arrive in a few days and they will call then for an appointment. Ok. So they call 10 days later and tell my (confused....) mother that the wig isn't available, and she needs to come in again (our 3rd visit....) to try on other substitute wigs. Doesn't tell my mom what happened to our wig. We go in, try on new wig. Mom is sick, wants to take it and go soon, as she gets sicker while the owner is styling the wig. Doesn't really care what it is or what it looks like. She has metastatic cancer and is febrile and I need to get her home and then to the ER. She is sick. When I get home, I realize we don't know what the heck this wig is, it is not a well made import from Germany but a cheaper American knock-off. There is no documentation with this mystery wig. Certainly not worth $500. Oh, did I say that she charged us the same price that she had quoted for the German wig? 3) Would not reveal the name/type of the wig purchased. I have to list this separately. Her rationale is that she doesn't want us to go on-line and buy it ourselves. But we already bought it, and we went to buy from her specifically because we needed her expertise and guidance and styling. I guess we trust her more then she trusts us, that's for sure! 4) Rude front of the house receptionist - both in person and over the phone. 5) Owner needs to realize that some of her clients are very very sick. If my mom wants to come in and order/buy a wig TODAY, it may be because she is scared, sick and doesn't want to come in again. Do not try to tell her she doesn't need a wig today. While you think you may be helping her, you actually hurt her. You made her feel embarassed, like she was being silly. She went home and worried for 2 months about not feeling good about how she looked because she wanted a wig for her thinning hair. Then we had to make another appointment, to start the process over. Driving to your store, waiting for your appointments, appointment, driving home.... it takes hours and all of her energy for the day. We had to make 3 trips to your store and still didn't get the wig she originally ordered. 6) Appointments always started late - 15-30 minutes each time. Just space them out more if you can't start on time. I am mostly hoping that the owner of this establishment reads this, so that she can address the issues. I actually feel her store could be invaluable and am just really disappointed because of our experience. I am also an oncologist and and will not be recommending this place to my patients. read more

Buyer Beware!! On my visit with my daughter for yearly mastectomy bras the fitter was knowledgabe about the undergarments but gave us bad info on insurance payments for items.She told us yes they are covered so she would be able to get the items,bras and also lymphydema sleeves at no charge to her. She is on a fixed income and this was great to hear. Well lo and behold we were billed 454.00! I called and asked them . I could get them online from the company, at 100.00 each and even 1 FREE one too!! I tried to return the sleeves unopened and never worn but was told sorry- no returns even though I told them they were still in packages.I would have NEVER purchased those Lymphadivas sleeves from them! I feel that they are working with women,that are vunerable and emotional cancer patients, with more things to think about that being overcharged for services. My credit card company denied this so we have a 454.00 to deal with now!! Being on a fixed income I now struggle with paying this bill!! Buyer BEWARE!!!!!!! read more

I was so grateful for the very caring and kind words that Jan had for me. The whole process of hair loss due to Chemo was so emotional for me and she talk me thru each and every step. The first appointment to pick out my wig was a big emotional event in my life. Jan held my hand and help me thru that appointment with all the kindness I needed that day. My next appointment was to get the wig fitted and my GI Jane haircut! Her expertise and recommendations made that appointment experience go so smoothly that I would highly recomend to anyone who find themselves in need of this type of service to go there. eviews Previvor Power in the last week I'm shocked at how rude Sharie, an employee, not the owner I'm told, just was to me on the phone. I guess you have to have had cancer first before you ask for their services. So, if you are a previvor like myself, who took elective steps and had a double masectomy to avoid cancer due to a hereditary mutation of brca1 and family history, beware as you may be treated like you don't belong calling for such an appointment even though I have two different size breasts due to an infection during my recovery. By the way, she made sure to let me know that she had breast cancer, unlike myself so she knows that my insurance won't cover their services. My goal for this review is the hope that she doesn't treat another previvor that may need their services in this same manner. read more

Terrible customer service! They do not stand behind their products. They have no compassion (specifically sherry!) They are in the wrong business. My mom has stage 4 cancer and will never have hair again. She will need to live in the wig she purchased for well over $2,000.00. The hair quality on the wig is terrible and they would rather send her a check to get it styled some place else then "deal" with her. Her insurance company questioned their prices and the way they bill out. That had nothing to do with my mom! I could not believe how Sherry was speaking to my mother. It is a shame that such rude people are in a field where cancer patients could use them most. I can only hope going forward my mom has interactions with kind and compassionate people. I went to Naturally Yours last year before I started with my chemotherapy. I was told that I would lose my hair within 2 weeks. The stylist was able to see my natural hair and style before it fell out, and had me try on a number of different colors and styles of wigs. She told me to return in 2 weeks or when my hair began to fall out. Two weeks after chemo started my hair was falling out in clumps. I went back to the shop, the stylist had my wig ready. She shaved my head--even gave me a temporary Mohawk for fun at my request, then continued shaving it. She did a wonderful job matching my own hair, and cut it to the same style. I highly recommend Naturally Yours. They have beautiful wigs and hairpieces, and many lovely scarves and accessories in the store. We went to Naturally Yours with my mother who is receiving chemotherapy and had sudden hair loss. We were looking for a place that had wigs in stock and a place where we could pick up a wig the same day as our appointment. From the get go, the receptionist was very understanding and worked to fit us in to the schedule. Upon arriving, we were greeted warmly and felt welcomed. It is a very nice, clean facility that has wigs on site and stylists to help you choose the color and type that is best for you. Amy did a fantastic job helping my mother find one that she felt comfortable in. She was extremely professional, patient, attentive, and caring. We never felt rushed or pressured. After we picked out a wig, Amy took the time to sew it so that it fit appropriately and then worked with us in styling it to best resemble my mother's natural hairdo. My mother left there with a much better attitude and outlook than she went in there with! I would highly recommend Naturally Yours! read more
