They have supplies that will be of great use to anyone who needs it regardless of how their medical issue affects them. When I went to the store, I could tell that the two employees working were from South America based on their accent & way of speaking. I was pleased to find out that it was her daughter & mother wotking there & that they're both from Venezuela! So, if you are someone who makes the effort to support businesses who employ people from South Ameri a, then here's another business to add to your list

Normally, I read reviews and shop around, but considering the customer service I received from Mark on our first phone call, I knew I found the right place. Anyone who has ever experienced a medical emergency knows time is of the essence, so when my once mobile mom came home from the hospital (and couldn't walk), we were scared and helpless. I called Elite Home Medical Supply on a Saturday morning (of Memorial Day weekend) to inquire about Hoyer Lifts. Mark answered and told me he could deliver one Tuesday. After telling him about our situation, he made some adjustments, and delivered the lift with his son, Jake, that same afternoon. To add to that, they both stayed to give us a tutorial while we practiced using the lift with my sister-in-law. After that, my sister-in-law went to the store to purchase a commode and bedside table. At the store she was accommodated by rockstar employee, Jasmine. I think the fact that Google revealed to me Elite Home Medical Supply, which is 35 minutes from my home, was divine intervention. These people are angels, and my family is forever grateful. Thank you, Emergency Home Medical Supply, for being there for my family when we needed you the most.

He had already tried that and it was worse than our couch recliner. She suggested that renting a powerlift chair might be helpful. It was on the pricier side, but the only other idea she had. Well, we thought about over lunch and just decided to just purchase a chair. Terri showed us the options and let us just try out the chairs on our own time. We never felt rushed. It was obviously more than we originally thought of doing, but we are sure we won't regret it in the future. The only thing that didn't make us happy, and why this isn't four stars, was the price tag. We picked the chair we liked best & thought the price was what was on the tag. There were options below the big price, like heat & massage, which were things that could be added to the base. Oh, but the material that the chair used was on that list (which we didn't realize because it was not a common name). It was not in the large number on the price tag and added $900 to the price. We didn't know this until we were checking out. We do not blame Terri for this, but the company that thought this was a good idea. The tag should have had the final price, before taxes & delivery not the base price if you could buy it off of the floor like we did.

I spoke with Laurie on the phone. I gave her general information regarding the stairway and the length of time I would need the lift. Laurie quoted me a price which was quite reasonable. I was also told that closer to the installation date I would have to set up a time for someone to do exact measurements. Rick, the owner, came out and did measurements. It was very obvious that he knew what he was doing. A half hour later he was done measuring. We set up a time for installation and he left behind a brochure for us to look through. Two gentlemen came to install the lift. It took a little less than two hours. A demonstration was given on operation and safety. Additional information was left. By the way, the stair lift is totally easy to operate and you feel secure in using it. I'll keep it as long as it takes for me to once again navigate the stairs safely. Rick had said if I didn't need it as long as I contracted for he would rebate or if I need longer he'd go month to month. Thank you, 101 Mobility!

A sleep study in 2023 determined I had…read moresleep apnea and the University of Chicago doctor arranged for Fitzsimmons to supply a CPAP and related consumable supplies. I had appointments to be fitted for a mask and review operation and maintenance schedules. This was all painless and the person who helped me was great and answered all my questions. She provided a printed schedule for replacement of certain parts (filters, masks, tubing and chamber) with time-frames showing when I should order them based on insurance coverage. Easy enough. There's a specific number I have to call to reorder supplies. Usually when I call, the person checks my schedule and can tell me what I'm eligible for based on insurance, which is also helpful. The only issue I ever encountered was possibly due to miscommunication or misunderstanding. I called and tried to order supplies this spring and the person I spoke to this time said I needed to give them a credit card due to some new policy for 2025. I've had enough medical billing errors to know any kind of prepayment or auto billing is a very bad idea, so I declined. I decided I would instead try a different company who also had convenient online ordering. That company was uncommunicative and I waited a month with no supplies or followup. Finally I called and canceled and went back to Fitzsimmons, who this time didn't request a credit card... not sure what happened there. I get a text with whatever co-pay wasn't covered by insurance, I check it against Blue Cross to make sure it's correct, and pay it through their billing portal. The people I've spoken to have all been completely fine. I've had zero issues with rudeness. Overall, apart from lacking online ordering and the weird credit card misunderstanding, this company is pretty together and easy to work with.
