I was in need of a wheelchair for 1 day due to bad knee issues so I can go to the fan expo in Chicago without limping or being in pain and they were very helpful and very reasonably priced. Great service and I would use them again. Thank you! read more

Rented a wheelchair for a few days and they could not have been more accommodating. I had an off time and location which they were able to utilize flawlessly. Same woman dropped off and picked up. She would absolutely not accept a tip although she went above and beyond with the drop off. Great company. Will use again if needed. read more

Angel Care - The White Queen from Alice in Wonderland, Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum 9/17/22 #lilymoygulik #aliceinwonderland - Medical Supplies Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I had rented a heavy duty scooter through a third party website and was linked with Angelcare. I had emailed back and forth with Rhoda about a drop off time and she was quick to get back to me. She was super understanding of making sure I would be around during both and was understanding when I asked for a more narrowed down time for pickup because of work. The scooter was amazing and the gentleman who dropped it off explained how to break it down to fit into my small SUV. I am excited to use this company again in June for another occasion and Rhoda was quick to put me down in the books and made sure to ask if it was the same scooter I wanted in June! 5/5 - I would recommend this to anyone in need of a scooter! I'm so glad I was linked with this company. read more

I highly recommend Angelcare... They were extremely friendly, professional and prompt. I ordered a power chair for my relative and it arrived the same afternoon! And the prices are more affordable than local competitors. Azuka and his staff are to be commended. read more

I highly recommend Angelcare. Why? 1. When I first rang them, the person who helped me gave me options, discussed the best pricing structure given that we needed the wheelchair for only 2 weeks, never rushed me, answered all my questions, gave me a great price including delivery and pick up 2. It was delivered in the agreed upon timeframe 3. The wheelchair was in excellent condition and operated without any problems whatsoever 4. It was picked up on the agreed day Basically, they delivered exactly what they promised. I don't think that anyone can hope for more than that!. Thank you Angelcare! read more

Rented a basic motorized scooter due to a knee replacement when I accompanied my son to visit Columbia College Chicago. I ordered over the phone from SC and the rep was so very nice and thorough. The price was very reasonable. The scooter was waiting for me at my hotel and was in perfect working order. I would definitely recommend this company for your medical equipment and rental needs! read more

absolute shady business and definitely do NOT recommend renting from angelcare. our party was in need of a wheelchair so we called angelcare on a monday to rent for tuesday. the guy over the phone said there is a 2 day minimum so i would have to be charged for 2 days ($60) even though we only needed the wheelchair for 1 day. whatever. the wheelchair was dropped off the following day (tuesday) in the morning at approx 10 am with a $20 delivery fee. we decided we wanted to extend the rental until THURSDAY morning at 10 am, they said they were going to charge us for another day. how does that logic even make sense. i ALREADY paid for 2 days?? uh, no where did it say that their "day" is counted by dates, not from WHEN the wheelchair was dropped off. by 24 hour period definition, we already paid for 2 days, starting tuesday 10am until thursday 10am, makes sense, right? nope, not by angelcare's definition. i was also told i couldn't use the yelp deal over the phone either. they refused to accept the yelp deal. go elsewhere for your healthcare rentals. clearly all the inflated reviews are from family & friends. read more

I was visiting Chicago and was meeting my elderly godmother for the weekend. I realized she would not be able to walk everywhere we wanted to go and asked the front desk for a wheelchair rental. In September we visited Chicago and my 89 year old husband could not walk fast and steady enough on the busy sidewalks of downtown Chicago. I contacted several places trying to find a wheelchair but received no help since it was in a weekend. I spoke with a CVS pharmacy and she said " try these guys". In less than two hours a wheelchair was delivered to our hotel , very clean, and perfect size.. The delivery guy was great and gave simple and clear explanations how to fold it up if needed to transport in auto. We kept the chair for over 48 hours. When we were ready to leave the hotel we were told to leave it with concierge and they would pick it up. They arrived right as we were leaving so we did not have to be concerned if it was returned properly. All of this great service for about $100.00. I highly recommend this company and we will use it again if we return to Chicago! Thank you Angel Care! You lived up to your name! read more

The service I received from Angelcare & Medical Equipment Supply Co. in Chicago was outstanding. The wheelchair I reserved was there on time; when I experienced a problem with it after a few days, it was promptly exchanged for a new one. The personnel I spoke with, especially, Maria, were always pleasant and courteous. They were responsive and and responsible professionals and I highly recommend this service!!! I would use them again without hesitation. BRAVO!!!! Claire G. read more

I recently returned from visiting my sisters in Chicago, one whose debilitating medical condition makes it difficult for her to walk. Angelcare gave me a great price, delivered on their promises for delivery and pickup, answered our questions, and worked to meet our needs. The wheelchair was in excellent condition. The customer service was superb. Everyone we came in contact with were professional and congenial. I just can't express enough how blessed I feel for Angelcare's service to us. I am so glad I discovered them. It will definitely be my choice when I return to Chicago. read more

The responsiveness and service at Angelcare went well beyond my expectations. We needed a folding, lightweight wheelchair for the visit of a disabled friend. Not only was the price affordable but the representative offered to deliver it on a Sunday - personally - so to better accommodate our needs. Unfortunately, on the day prior to delivery, our friend called to tell us she had fallen and broken her arm and would need to cancel her visit entirely. I emailed Angelcare and left a message. That night I received a reply informing me that I would receive a full refund on my credit card. Not only responsive, reasonably priced, but extremely fair. Will absolutely call them the next time we need a chair or medical equipment. read more

A few days ago I desperately needed a wheelchair and the owner answered the phone when I called. He was very cordial and helpful. Because I could not complete the order at that moment, one of his staff followed up by calling me. She was very cordial and helpful as well. Once I got to the store, I felt even more impressed by her continued customer service. I had never purchased a chair before and she took the time to show me a variety of options while answering all my questions. The process was simply painless and positive overall. I will definitely return and recommend to others! read more

I rented an electric scooter from a national company(Scootaround),requesting a three wheeled one, they sent a four wheeled one, which I couldn't handle. They couldn't help me. I called Angel Care and they had the three wheel GoGo Traveler that I needed. I called at 2:00 on Saturday,by 4:00 my scooter arrived. I was very impressed with their prompt service and assistance. Even though it meant I paid for two scooters,I had the one I had requested from the first company. I will definitely rent from Angel Care Medical Equipment again. read more

My father, who suffers from Parkinson's, was coming to visit me in Chicago. I realized that he'd be able to experience so much more of the city if we rented a wheelchair. Angelcare came highly recommended by a friend and they did not disappointed. Shamia and the Angelcare team were responsive, helpful, and made everything easy. Making the reservation was a breeze, the cost was very reasonable, and they even dropped off and picked up the chair, taking into account my parents' itinerary. Highly recommend. read more
