I think it's nice that they offer self checkout for people who prefer that, but the fact that they force it now is pretty uncool. I prefer having an employee ring me up rather than me doing their job for them. If i got a "self checkout discount" i would be more happy about doing it. I asked if an employee could take me at the register rather than ringing myself out, and she got mad at me and grabbed everything out of my hands and rang it at the self-checkout with an attitude. This whole thing is just big companies using "convenience" as a mask for wanting to pay fewer staff members per shift, and theyre making it harder on the sales floor workers having fewer staff when a customer needs something like cigarettes. Kinda sad considering so many entry-level jobs that are closing up. read more

No wonder this pharmacy has a 2.1 star review. The man working there was very nice, but the woman pharmacist is rude and though I waited the amount of time, she told me to wait for my prescriptions she ended giving me my order and checking me out unfortunately I didn't check to see that both prescriptions were in the bag and got home to see that she only filled one of the prescriptions. Not sure why I went here again when Walgreens is only a mile away. read more

This location is EXTREMELY short staffed. The pharmacy is closed for an hour mid day so the staff can eat their lunch, so check out the scheduled time before trying to make a run at lunchtime. Because of the staff shortage you will have to wait a lot here. Wait at the pharmacy, wait at the clinic, wait at the register, you get the gist. Even though they are working their asses off, the staff is very patient and kind. The customers I've seen, not so much. I had to adjust my rating based on the wait factor (never do the pharmacy drive through after 4pm!) as I know what it was like before. I think there should almost be an option for a review during covid, because it has affected this spot a ton. Be kind and patient to the staff here. We all need more of that! read more

Never have I ever met a lazier staff. takes multiple attempts to get prescriptions filled. Three to four attempts walking in is ridiculous. And i still do not have the much needed medication. There is a common sense issue here. Nobody has any. If the computer doesn't say it, they haven't a clue. I asked them a simple question about cleaning a ruptured ear drum. Guess the answer. Don't use a q-tip. Wow Bought some eye drops, told me to pay for em up front, even though i was at pharmacy counter. great customer service. Tried to make an appointment online for the Minute Clinic. The system showed an appointment available that day, but when I was confirming the appointment, the date was suddenly changed. Tried to call the Minute Clinic about the actual appointment availability. All I could get was an automated system telling me their hours. When I tried to actually talk to someone, the system told me that wasn't available and disconnected the call. I tried calling four more times, all with the same result. I called the pharmacy to try to get through. The first attempt put me on hold for a couple minutes, then disconnected the call. The second attempt was finally answered. The pharmacy tech said the pharmacy doesn't know anything about the Minute Clinic. I asked to be transferred to the clinic, but was told there is no way for him to do so. Even though the Minute Clinic is only a few feet away from the pharmacy, he would not take the time to ask them to call. Completely unorganized and in no way helpful to customers. read more

Do not use their UPS drop off...very unaccommodating. The person in charge was not very nice or friendly. They should not act or advertise as a UPS drop off if they can not assist with things . read more

Horrible ! There's no point in making a reservation at the kiosk if anyone can come and bump you off your reserved spot ! I was there the night before to reserve my spot for the following morning. I arrived with what I thought was a decent amount of time to "finish" registering and my name didn't even pop up on the roster. The email I received WITH confirmation was so vague about time arrival it just states "a few minutes" I was there a good 15 min before my reserved time. Apparently someone else "took" my spot ?! Then why reserve a time if it's a free for all. Very inconvenient and nowhere near a "minute-clinic" experience, estimated wait time was 3+ hours ! I could have been seen sooner at cook county. lol this place is a joke read more

This is the most unreliable pharmacy I have ever been to. I hate to write a bad review because the employee are always very friendly. Not once, but twice, I have been given the wrong prescription. One of the times they gave me the wrong generic, which I took for a month before my doctor caught the error. The other time, they gave me someone else's prescription, which I didn't catch until later that night when I went to take my meds. Eek! I will say though, once it was brought to their attention - they did make efforts to remedy the situation. But a $25 gift card doesn't really fix much. read more

The pharmacy is ridiculously slow. My wife just went there to pick up my son's epipen. The prescription was dropped off at 5pm and she went to get it at 730. It wasn't ready. They didn't offer to handle it immediately, which is ridiculous. No substantive prep for epipens, mind you. Print a label, throw it in a bag, staple it. On top of that they were out of my son's other medication which can only be filled last minute. Pretty consistent experience. They always ask us to come back hours later, or overnight. Not something I've experienced at any other pharmacy, so I'd say it's sub-par. Maybe hire some more help or higher sense of urgency is needed? Anyway, switching over to the Walgreens on County Farm / Geneva is a hassle but worth a look. read more

This is the slowest pharmacy i have ever been to. My Dr called the prescription in at 1:00. Went there to get it at 4:30 and still wasnt ready. Told them i needed to run to a store and would be back. Was told it would be ready. I was gone for over a hour and still wasnt ready when i came back. By then there was 5 other people behind me waiting. Not to mention first first i heard them tell two different people they was out of the medicine they needed. A lady explain her son was down to one day left. They said they would order but couldnt promise anything. Wish my insurance woudlnt of changed and i could still use Walgreens. Never ever had a issue with them!!!! read more

Just had the most remarkable experience at the CVS minute clinic. Took off work early to bring my son for a sports physical. We arrived at 5 PM, open til 7. We were the only ones there. The check in computer showed a 1 hour and 10 minute wait but would not let us check in. The girl at the pharmacy told us to sit tight and wait for the doctor to come out from seeing a patient. We sat for an hour and 10 minutes, the wait countdown did not change. Several people came and left after trying to check in. The doctor came out with a mother and daughter, talked to them at the pharmacy and then came back by us. 6:15 now. Yes, after at least an hour and 10 minutes in the room. We told her we needed a physical for my son. She said she may not have time. She said a sports physical took over a half an hour. She said she needed to make sure the 2 other names ahead of us weren't there. She said she may have to wait for them and not have time to take care of us. She kept repeating this. I told her it sounds like she was looking for every reason not to take care of us after we had been waiting for over an hour and a half. She told us it was a busy day and she even had to eat her lunch late. She disappeared back into the exam room, paged one of the other patients, who never showed. The computer screen was cleared and the wait time became 0 minutes. Now 6:20. She came out a 6:35, 20 minutes after her patient left, and told us to try and log in. Still couldn't log in. She said it was probably because the computer wouldn't schedule the physical because not enough time was available. A sign clearly states, last sign in at 6:45, 15 minutes before close. All after she disappeared for 15 more minutes. After an hour and 45 minutes waiting, she said she couldn't help us. The Dr said she needed to get ready to close in 25 minutes. From 5 -7 o'clock she had seen one patient and would not help us. And they call it minute clinic . . . read more

Twice in the past year this location has filled the wrong prescription (I had a doctor change to a different medication and they refilled my old med). The first time I didn't notice and wound up in the E.R. This time I noticed, thankfully. read more

We had an awesome experience getting flu shots for the whole family at the Minute Clinic here. We were seen without a wait (or an appointment), and the nurse was amazing and kind with my toddler. Best vaccination experience she's ever had and I'm very grateful. read more

The pharmacy department is wonderful. I sent someone to pick up my prescription and it was not called in. The woman did the investigating to find out it had been called into the wrong pharmacy. She then called Osco and had it transfered before they closed so I could have the medicine I needed. Your the best. read more
