The pharmacy had me wait for 25 minutes 4 customers in line. I was 2nd. The one in front had some issues. The other pharmasist would not help he laughed instead of taking care of three behind instead. Took 25 minutes to assist the one person ahead of everyone. 8 oclock came. They closed the gates and 3 others including myself left with nothing but a laugh but tge male. When i asked his name with gates closed he laughed harder. i want to say that the addison ill cvs is the best cvs i have ever visited. the ppl there are so nice and always so accomadating no matter what. asema has been there so long and every time we see her, she has a smile, and so helpful. sam, the manager as well, he is wonderful, kind, and always helping everyone. the pharmacy ppl are great and answer every question no matter how busy they are. i feel extremely comfortable, and safe walking into this store. the isles are always neat clean, and all i can say is if you want a wonderful shopping experience as well as picking. up your meds, go here. do n o t. listen to anyone who says differently, its very clean, and every single person in that store is warm, kind, considerate and friendly. thanks cvs. marybeth read more

Usually everybody in the pharmacy at this location are extremely nice except the pharmacist at work or is working right now on Sunday 8-23-21 I've been sitting in the ER for the last four hours I rushed to drop off my prescription not sure if I could get it today but figured it didn't hurt to ask it's only six any possibility for this evening I know that they close in 45 minutes and I hear the pharmacist tell her not thinking I could hear her she says to her tell her absolutely not who does she think she is she's not special especially coming in here hour before we close she's not special who does she think she is we have 1 million strips in front of her to do absolutely not well my opinion she could've just said no I'm sorry I would if I could but it'll be ready in the morning there's too many in front of you right now just something polite she did not need to be that rude and I heard her and I responded back to her so I will be not using this CVS anymore not that they care but just an awful attitude she should be glad she has a job I know I am every other pharmacist there is Nominal I've actually never seen this one before but whatever I guess she's a better person than all of us that's the way she was acting acting read more

I forgot to have my doctor change where I want my prescription to go. So I tried again to go to CVS. I received the automated phone call that it was completed. I went there and I was told it was completed but they could not find it. So I had to leave with out my medicine. Now I will have to wait another day without meds until I can have it sent some where else. read more

Please note I am reviewing just my experience at the Pharmacy. A few weeks ago I found myself suddenly needing to fill a prescription for my newborn. He needed a very simple outdated medication. I went to the corner of Happy & Healthy and after a 1 hour run around (being called up 3 times to say they are not done) I was then told that didn't have it, I found myself in a scramble at 8:30 at night. They said they were calling around to find this medication and no one had it or was still open. My wife called CVS - Addison and they confirmed they had the prescription and I hauled over there. I arrived and was greeted by Marta at the Pharmacy. She immediately went and grabbed the jug of medication from behind the counter all while getting all of the insurance info into the system. The store was closing in 20 minutes and I didn't want to come back but she said it should just take a few minutes. (Again, I am still worked up from the other Pharmacy) I went to do a lap around the store and was interrupted by being called to the counter...it was ready. I got there and found that Marta was unable to type out the direction of how to wean my son off this medication so she had hand written out very legibly how to do so. She included all that I needed to dispense the medication and I was out the door in less than 15 minutes. I don't care that this CVS is out of my way or anything about the store itself, they gave me perfect service and I will go out of my way to deal with this staff again. read more

What's the point of making an appointment for a flu shot. The appointment was for today scheduled several days in advance. Upon arrival told they do not have the flu shot available. You give all of the information including your insurance and contact information online when you make the appointment. They can't make the phone call to save you the trip coming in by telling you it needs to be rescheduled. Totally unacceptable! read more

For all the times I've been to this CVS location, I haven't had any problems. The staff here are really nice and seem genuine about helping you. The store itself is always very clean and organized, even during the busy weekends. I can always count on CVS for any last minute things! Unfortunately, the pricing is the problem. If you're looking for convenience, go here. Otherwise, the Walmart (or even the Dollar Tree!) down the street has better prices. On the Pharmacy end, the service is speedy and efficient as well. read more

I would have given CVS a negative star but that is not available. CVS has the worst pharmacy phone and online applications. The pharmacists are great, but they are definitely short staffed all the time. I have to assume the reason for not enough workers is CVS Leadership wants to save money, more money for them and not caring about customer safety or customer experience. The phone system is not usable, CVS website is poorly designed and I do not think any of the background applications are properly developed or tested prior to release. Online I made an appoitment for 2 vaccines, when I arrived the pharmasist informed me both were out of stock. Why would the web page let me select something that is not available at the store? Getting my prescriptions filled by auto refill or when the doctor sends in a new one, is consistently not processed properly. I feel sorry for the way too busy pharmacy staff, they have to stop working on filling orders to Immediately help customers get the drugs they need. read more

Shawn in the pharmacy is one of the only reasons I still go to CVS. He is awesome! Always friendly and has a good attitude. When the other people are working I don't like going there because they are not that nice. I'm glad someone else on Yelp recognizes Shawn too in their review. It's clean and easy to find things like most CVS Stores but the cashiers are painfully slow.

The store manager from this CVS was EXTREMELY rude to me today. I had purchased some cosmetics for my mom over the weekend from another CVS in the city. I shop at CVS all the time. I lost the receipt, but the items were unopened. I was hoping to get store credit so my mom could go back and pick out what she wanted. They've done that before and everything was fine. This guy was SO incredibly rude. He told me that none of the items had been sold in their store for the past 5 weeks. Obviously he needs a hearing aid because I clearly said that I bought them over the weekend, and I never said anything about THAT specific store. Then he pushes the makeup back at me, not even putting the items back in the bag I had them in originally. He loudly said "We will NOT be returning these. They aren't from here.", like he was trying to embarrass me in front of the other people in line. Once again I told him that I never said I bought them from that store, I bought them from another CVS but this one was closer to me. He started loudly arguing with me telling me that I said they were from that store. I ended up just leaving because I didn't deserve to be treated like that. He could've easily checked my rewards card and seen that I purchased the makeup over the weekend, but instead he chose to be a total jackass. Yelling at a customer that was completely calm with you is just unnecessary. I will NEVER shop at that CVS again, and I'll be sure to warn everybody I know about their HORRIBLE customer service. If you don't like your job, find a different one, don't take it out on the customers. read more
