If you ever wanna get your blood pressure up, this is the place to go. Guaranteed to have you spending your wheels and wasting your time driving out to see if a prescription that was supposed to be in stock because your app never stops telling you it is only to find out that the pharmacy doesn't have anything on hand. You could start by calling the pharmacy to check if your prescription is available to which they will pick up and hang up the phone. After that, you could drive out to the pharmacy and wait in a ridiculous line either inside or outside in the pick up line. Once you finally get a person, they won't be able to do the job on their own so they'll have to get a second pharmacist to help them. They'll tell you that they don't have any of your medication's in stock and they're not sure why you're there. Next, they'll tell you it'll be available next day after 1 o'clock. Only for you to get there the next day and nobody knows what you're talking about. The most useless Pharmacy. Atrocious customer service. Lackluster communication. Poor inventory. All around terrible experience. I highly recommend getting your prescriptions filled at target or Sam's Club. Walgreens is absolute trash in Itasca. read more

The absolute worst. While traveling I needed antibiotics. My hospital/insurance provider told me I would be able to pick up a prescription at this Walgreens. After two hours, I contacted them to see what the holdup was and they told me my insurance was incomplete and that I needed to create an account in order to complete that data and that the prescription wouldn't be ready for at least 24 hours. At that point I'm flying home the next morning so what's the point. Burn this place to the ground. read more

The Pharmacy is Top Notch. So helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Sometimes more knowledgeable than my Doctor. The Manager of the Store is Phenomenal and always so kind and helpful. Great crew at the registers. read more

If I could give this pharmacy a -182727 star I would. I was waiting in line behind one car at 6:35pm, the pharmacist took abnormally long to give this person their prescription, and then as soon as the person pulled away the pharmacist look at me, quickly closed their blinds and went on their meal break. I could understand if there was a long line behind me, but it was just me. You couldn't take an extra minute to just give me my prescription? Absolutely ridiculous customer service. Now I'm left to sit in the pharmacy drive through until they come back 30 minutes later. I've never seen anything like this before. I totally understand everyone has the total right to a meal break, but at least having the simple decency to say that to me rather than looking at me and closing the blinds and quickly running away. Just came back from the Walgreens at Irving park road and prospect in Itasca/Wooddale I forgot my cane at home so I had to use one of the electric carthe electric carts the cart did not fit down the center aisle center Aisle. I adked for the manager and told her. She said yeah so what. I asked if I needed to contact the American with disabilities act to have them come into the store she told me go ahead I'll just get rid of the cart and it's not required that we have them I asked her for corporate's phone number and she said doesn't make a difference they won't do anything either I again asked her for the phone number which she then regrettedly gave me me I wonder if it was a mother with a stroller would she have done the same. The pharmacy staff are so unprofessional and RUDE. They incorrectly entered by insurance information TWICE and I had to have my insurance company call them to get it all figured out. Then I received a text saying my prescription is ready for pick up but when I arrived, they "misplaced" my prescription. How do misplace a prescription?? Then when they finally called to say it was actually ready, they only filled part of my order (it was supposed to be a 3 month supply). I spoke to two different employees and both were incredibly rude and told me "don't ask us to please look for your order. We obviously are looking for it." So unprofessional. read more

The Pharmacy staff is extremely rude!! Asked for non generic prescription was told they only sell generic refused to order it for me even do I did not need it right away. They returned my prescription with writing all over it and all ripped, needles to say I will not be returning to any Walgreens for prescriptions or anything I may need. read more

Would go to a different location but this is the closest one for me. Was reprimanded with attitude for pressing the call button after waiting a couple minutes because there was "someone ahead of me." Cool, but I couldn't see them, so how was I supposed to know? First class service and great pharmacists. My go to store. Having been going to this store since it opened over 25 years ago.

Walgreens has been progressively gotten worse over the years....They no longer care about the customer/patient. After a doctors appointment on Friday my meds were sent in and I was told by Walgreens that it was out of stock...would be in on Saturday. Saturday I was told Monday, on Tuesday when I called I was told another week...maybe! When a pharmacy cant keep control of their stock, really makes you wonder huh? On top of this they will not transfer the script to another location and the pharmacist was very rude to me. read more

I like this Walgreen's location. I have been in here a few times over the past couple of weeks. Shelves are well stocked. Hallmark card options are nice and plentiful. Staff has been pleasant and helpful. All in all, a good location that is easy to get in and out of that is clean. A good place to stop for that last minute card, battery, iced tea, etc. read more

My son worked at this store and the store manager bullied my son who has a disability and so did the pharmacy manager. They did not follow his doctors letters regarding how many hours a week he was supposed to work and when our family moved to a different town he asked to be transferred to a different Walgreens the GM did not transfer him and she she said something bad in his file so he is unable to get another job at another Walgreens. He has worked for other Walgreens and he has never been treated so poorly, they transferred him with no problem and he has a stellar work record. He was employee of the month several times at all 3 Walgreens that he had worked at and all the customers loved him. When I would go to pick up my prescriptions and customers would find out he was my son they would tell me how much they appreciated my son working there and what a hard working young man he was. I am highly disappointed that they would treat a hard working person with a disability this way!! read more

Pharmacy has always been great!! Only problem I had was my insurance paying for medication but that was not Walgreens problem. As of 9/15/16 the pharmacy hours Mon-Fri 9am-9pm Sat & Sun 9am-5pm. read more

This review is only about the photo department. My husband went to pick up some of our wedding pictures that we have the rights to by our photographer. The man working the day my husband went, didn't want to give him the photo's because he said they were professional photos and we needed to have a piece of paper stating they could be released to use. News flash Walgreens and Walgreens worker, if they aren't watermarked, we have the rights to them. You cannot even right click and save images to jpeg when you don't have the rights to them. It doesn't allow it. My husband was getting furious and finally the man agreed to give him our photos if he signed a piece of paper stating we had rights. I told my husband he should of just showed them the whole file that he has on his iphone cloud that we have them backed up on. We have every single photo. And to make the matter even crazier, I ordered 2 canvas and photos a few weeks prior and another man said absolutely nothing to me about needing a piece of paper that I owned the rights to my photos. I will think twice now about having them do my photos. You don't treat customers like that and you sure don't accuse someone of not having rights to their photos. read more
