The pharmacy is fine. But trying to order from the store is horrible. The app crashes and gives me error messages over and over again. When I called the store, the male on the phone hung up on me. Kind and helpful staff: We lost our credit card at this CVS on Thanksgiving Eve, we were so devastated and worried, but a wonderful staff member named Stef found it outside as they were leaving and held onto it until the next day when we returned to look for it. Thank you so, so much for saving our Thanksgiving, Stef!! Also, they gave us recommendations on bigger grocery stores in the area since we were looking for more variety. Great people! read more

This pharmacy is terrible. The women that answer the phone are so rude and judge you based on prescriptions that you are prescribed. Unfortunately this is the only pharmacy that I can go to that's close to my location. If you don't mind traveling I would highly recommend taking your RX somewhere else because they treat you like garbage here and never have meds in stock. read more

I was treated like dirt over the phone by a girl in the pharmacy and given the wrong information. I'm going to have to guess she's judging me based on the medication I have been prescribed by my doctor. Because once the medication type came up, she started being snotty. CVS has been out of stock for a few weeks on this medication. I was able to purchase 10 out of the 30 I need over a week ago. They said when the rest came in, the script would be filled. Called today to check the status. Immediately, she says "You need a new prescription. You can't just get this filled." I know, I again explained my prescription was not completely filled, so I don't need a new one. She insisted I did, of course had to throw in "IT'S A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE. You need a new prescription." After speaking over me, she then cut me off/transferred me to the pharmacist who told me I do not need a new prescription unless I plan to transfer it to a different pharmacy. I will be transferring it to a different pharmacy along with all of my other medication. No one should be made to feel ashamed over the medication they take by pharmacy staff. When I told the pharmacist that the girl on the phone before him was unnecessarily rude and wrong, he just glossed over it with a quick, quiet "I'm sorry". read more

This is a terrible pharmacy. They get scripts mixed up. When you pull up to the speedy window and they open it, it reeks of febreze. Disgusting. The store is smelly and dirty. The pharmacy is rude. Find another pharmacy to use instead. read more

Husband ran in to pick up shoe polish and a stick of deodorant. I glanced at his receipt and was trying to figure out how he possibly spent $15. Because they charged $8 for a single stick of old spice which usually runs about $3 and change. I thought surely it was a mistake until we checked the packaging and it was labeled. That is an absolutely insane price considering you can get a two pack of the same product for less than half the price elsewhere......make sure you check the prices carefully before purchasing! read more

I would rate this store with a minus 5 if it was an option. Ever since Village Apothecary in Saugerties closed it has been almost impossible to get my and my Mom meds (life threatening) from CVS. Twice today I called them and the first time I was holding for 22+minutes. Second time was 27+ minutes. So... haven't been able to speak to anyone. How long should one be on hole listening to their horrible music before hanging up??? I have heard that some people had to wait 2 days after dropping off their scripts before they were were filled. Because of arthritis I cannot open the child proof bottles. No children here! I have requested 2 times to switch. My last pick-up of meds : about 20 bottles, only 3 had tops I was able to open. I, only one of many, are switching back to "the Apothecary" even though we have to go out of our way to go to Woodstock or Lake Katrine or to Rite Aid in Barclay Heights. read more

We recently had to move our many prescriptions to this CVS in Saugerties, New York, because the wonderful family-run Village Apothecary closed. We have tolerated the long wait in line every time we pick up a prescription, and the failure to have medicines ready in a timely fashion, necessitating either another wait, or having to come back later. However, today, we had a very negative experience that CVS management should be aware of. After waiting in the pickup line for two medications we had been told would be ready for pick-up, we were told there was no record of these medications, and we had to stand in the drop-off line. The woman there, a chunky woman with glasses and blondish hair, told us in a very loud voice that one of the medications was a controlled substance, and even though this was due for a refill, she acted as if it weren't. The medicine is used to control side effects a transplant medication. When she did find that this and the other medicine were actually due for refills, she said we could wait for the refills. When we chose not to wait and complained in a civil manner about how long we had already waited and how long we always have to wait, she said in a VERY loud voice that there were other drug stores we could go to. Why does CVS tolerate this person? This woman also told us that she was not able to tell us whether a transplant medication was a brand name (required) or a generic "until it was filled." This doesn't sound true. She apparently wasn't willing to check the original prescription which she said she had. This one employee has made us angry enough to write this review, and to never return to this CVS for other items. By the way, Saugerties Village will soon have an alternative to this unpleasant and depressing CVS, with a branch of Nekos on Main Street. We'll be moving our business there as soon as possible. read more
