Permanently Physically disabled person who uses the disability cart at virtually every store. You had 2-3 disability power carts all broken and strapped together in the front left entrance to the store. Cart associate rudely told me to go check the other entrance way down yonder (AS IF!) to see if there's another. You shouldnt have broken disability carts lined up-- there's a process to submit an equipment ticket and budget allocation to get them fixed. And at the very least the associate should have radio'd a team member on the other side of the building to see if there's a disability cart that's charged and working at that end. I usually come to this Walmart because I've usually found the associates much more friendly and helpful. Not this younger guy corralling the carts. Shameful that Walmart Kingston can't help their customers with disabilities with some empathy. If I could walk all that way without support, I would. I would love to walk but my neck was broken and I have no disc left in between L4&L5. Fix your disability carts, with all the money you make off your hard working and/ or disabled customers. read more

Although I have visited this particular Walmart on several occasions, this time it was hard to maneuver because of renovations inside an out. Some of the parking lot was taped off, so available parking was slim. The bathroom was not clean. There were primarily self checkout lanes. Only one manned checkout lane was open. Other than that, the store was as it usually was-fully stocked. Customer service was slow mainly because the clerk kept dealing with other issues during my transaction. read more

We came here to get a simple oil change for a road trip and they had a whole two hour delay so they told us it would be done in an hour so we came back an hour later and it still wasn't ready so they told us to wait abt a half hour. People were kinda nice but overall bad service read more

The worst place to buy tires and get the installed!! I've never had such poor customer service anywhere. I spent $1.2k on 4 new tires and paid for them to be installed. I scheduled my appointment for 1pm on a Saturday. I showed up at 12:45. They didn't even start looking at my car until 2pm. I came back multiple times, and they consistently stated they needed only 30 more minutes. The total time was 3 and a half hours!! I didn't leave the store until 4:30. I reached out to customer service via phone and told them "You burned my entire Saturday, and I could have had my tires changed 4-5 times anywhere else in a 3 and a half hour period. They stated they would comp me for the labor and disucss discounts with me on Monday with a followup. The only thing I recieved was a $15 off a $25 purchase with a 4 month expiration horizon!! I'm so deeply offended by this. Even if your tires cost hundreds more, buy them elsewhere!! read more

I had a 1:00pm appointment to have tires put onto my truck. I attempted to drop off my truck early (12:15pm) but was told that I could not do so until 15 minutes prior to my appointment so I had to wait around. My truck was finally taken into the garage at 2:11pm and I arrived back at 2:30pm to pick it up. I waited until 3:43pm for them to finish with it. Very poor service at this location. read more

Ordered shop/delivery from this store, i was missing most of my items so i hit the chat with us button, explained the items to the chat bot, was told that I couldnt be helped on line and that i had to call the store. I called the store and i was put on hold for 45 min. This is the second time of my items missing on my order, for now im im using Hanafords shop/delivery service, they have better shoppers, my items are correct and i get my items on time. If you use a grocery service don't use Walmart use Hanafords instead, its better and you'll get all of your items. read more

so I saw that it was renovated, but I didn't know about the different pay method. The guy who was cashing me out told me that it doesn't do Apple Pay anymore, which I think is insane. Anyway, he never explained why it's not doing Apple Pay instead he gave me an attitude and very poor customer service. he just continued to say that they don't do apple pay, never told me why or how it works anymore. He ignored me and my friend when we asked what's the difference about the pay method. The lady that was working with him didn't even know it changed which didnt help. I was at Walmart today not one single employee was very kind or nice! If I was pushing my cart and they were coming in the opposite way with a bigger cart, never said excuse me! When I moved over, they never said thank you!! The person at customer service was quite rude! I was just in the store and asked if they could look for more product than the three that were on the shelf. One person said she would but that she was busy and I never saw her again. Another person looked on the computer and said they had a dozen or so in stock. They came back out after a while and said they were all out that the computer was wrong. When I got home I went only to Instacart for that store and ordered the same six of the product and they said it would be delivered by 5 PM today, but at a higher price. On our way home from Woodstock, we'd taken a slight detour to purchase a few pantry staples and perishables. I said my Hail Mary's before going in and wished for the best. And wouldn't you know, this Walmart Supercenter, is spick and span. I was downright shocked....of excitement. Aisles are neat on shelves and accurately stacked. Maybe I've seen the unsightly mess- but this location makes my local Walmart look like a castle (well....not exactly but you get my drift). So forgive my Walmart Supercenter thrill. The produce section here? Not a rotten vegetable or fruit to be seen! Employees were helpful with pleasant smiles; in fact, no one seemed 'bothered'. Our cashier was very friendly and talkative throughout my transaction. Totally like! We all know, certain Walmart locations and other big box stores just let out that negative image, but would I have bought produce or anything else at my local Walmart? Nope. But, this Walmart Supercenter, looked inviting and all their goods here, were displayed as it should. read more

This is one of the worst Walmarts I've ever been to, employees tend to be rude and a lot of the personal shoppers are totally inattentive of other people trying to walk through the isles. Went to get a pair of headphones yesterday and the guy working in electronics has got to be one of the rudest people I've ever dealt with, a close 2nd behind a DMV worker I dealt with last year. He was rude and snappy the entire time I dealt with him, all over a pair of headphones I wanted. I inserted my card in too early because i was in a rush to get this unpleasant transaction with this d-bag over as quick as possible. He tells me, "not yet", and then I pull my card out and I hold it near the machine, not inserting it, and he says two more times in a very aggravated tone, "Don't put the card in yet, don't put the card in." Like this dude was freaking out over the smallest thing in the world and it's not like I was even trying to put my card in yet, I was just holding it near the machine to insert it as soon as the screen pops up to let me know it's ready. Gonna single this guy out here, he's a fat, balding guy with glasses, so if you ever need this guy to unlock one of the cases to get something, just be prepared for a very unpleasant interaction. The only good thing I'll say about this Walmart, which is why I didn't give a 1 star review, is that the layout of the store and product selection is actually pretty good, the employees however, not so much. read more

I know a while ago I wrote an accessibility review of this Walmart saying how for those in their Walmart motorized chairs, the store isn't accessible towards. However, all that changed since that last review a long time ago. When I found absolutely no regular pushcarts in the pushcart area on the southside of the store when I came in around 8pm yesterday, I was expecting at least one cart to be there. However, all I found were the motorized carts. I started with only an item or two and said "what the heck, I'm only getting a few things". However, although I can honestly say that only a few aisles were still not handicapped accessible, accessibility at the checkouts (after finding most of my list) was much better. I like self-checkouts, and this one is really excellent now that their systems have updated to new wireless technology - more than other self-checkout technology at other competitor stores. Grab and go on the scanner is really easy to scan products in a lightweight and simple design - though the card reader was a bit far up for me to reach when seated. I had a few problems last night. I was looking for compressed air, of which I couldn't find an employee until the very end because all the employees had been dealing with other customers and I couldn't seem to find them (they probably were going one way as I was going the other) until the end when another customer was found in front of me at the checkout. I pulled up the item on my Walmart app, and since I didn't have aisle numbers, I had to ask where they'd be found. The employee (in electronics) not only led me over to the area where he knew they'd be, but he did the research including looking on his device for back-of-store storage (for which there were none available either). I also chose not to look for my 3XL Fruit-of-the-Loom white t-shirts (because I need 100% cotton and they had been pushing their store-brand, collared, or Fruit of the Loom 50/45/5 blends and colored varieties - of which I couldn't have had either. I also chose not to look for Hanes socks because finding socks here is harder to find - for men. It was tricky finding antacids last night. I really wanted the Tums Smoothies - peppermint because that certain product helps, but I had to live with Tums Chewy Bites Assorted Berries (though I've had it before to no advantage). The peppermint one is sold as a non-smoothie version, but that's too chalky in the non-smoothie version, and smoothie versions of that taste are defunct from the Tums line (no Walmart similar brand exists with these specifications). read more

No real management. Several "team leaders" unable to answer questions snd making up their own "policies" as they go along. I returned a camp Chair and a cot. Had the receipt for the chair and not the cot. I was told I couldn't even exchange the cot for a new one and it's an Ozark trail cot. (Walmart's brand) Team leader Ken told me it's their new policy repeatedly. I told him that "it's the high cost of low prices" lol and this "I can't return the Walmart brand camp cot I bought this spring because I don't have my receipt" is ludicrous and criminal. I was already on the way out but today's experience makes it official. Goodbye Walmart. I am done supporting helping support the richest family in America, the Waltons. read more

this is about Instacart at Walmart. It is terrible in so many ways. I tried it twice. The first time I ordered a lot of frozen food. The shopper checked out at 3:30pm. Hours passed.. I texted her to ask if a problem, then to find out where she was. No reply..she showed up 6:15pm when the store is 20 minutes away by car.She flippantly said she had two other deliveries. The frozen meals were soggy. she also got me an enormous box of Swiss Miss. When I showed her the 10 packet box I ordered, she just said ","Well, it'll last ya". Today I tried again with Walmart. Since I am paralyzed on my right side,,my instructions are to bring grocery bags into my kitchen. It's a small house. I was sitting by the front living room when I saw Savannah put bags in my porch and dash away. I thought she might be getting more bags but no, she fled. I could not lift the bags. I discovered there was no bread and not the 3-Lean Cuisine pizzas that I paid for.n I don't know Instacart shoppers at Walmart are so bad. read more

The WORST place to get any kind of help or service. They have the same Walmart Eye Center prices and services, but the lady behind the counter could not have been more rude or cared less. This is being left after the third time I stopped in for help ordering extra glasses (I got the prescription here) and got so much attitude from more than one person that I now go to the Walmart Eye Center in Albany. It's ridiculous I live 4 minutes from an eye center and have to use one that is an hour away that is close to an office I work at 4 times a year. No special order, no disagreements about price, just a mood and attitude of "don't bother me" from the staff, and the last time I walked in, a customer who was FUMING (I don't know what about) was just leaving, so it's obviously not just me. If you can use another Walmart Eye Center, I suggest you do. read more

There are never enough associates working. You can never find one for help. Today they had 5 registers open and I waited 20 minutes in line just to be told that he's closing the register and I had to wait in another long line. I was only two people away when he shut his light off just to stand behind another 8 people again. Only had 4 items. walked out with nothing. The money saved does not exceed the aggravation spent. Lines at this place, no matter when you go, are always long. At 1am they'll have one register open with a line of people behind it. During the day, that same line at about 5 to 10 registers out of the 30 total registers that they have. Always lines, but at least they have self check out. Unfortunately it's always closed though. Lines, lines, lines, lines, and more lines. If you're ever in and out of this place, please take a picture. Next time I'm there, I'm posting a picture of a line. The one star is for entertainment. Walmart always had that "special" crowd that makes you feel like you walked into a free circus. Sometimes you feel bad for starring without first paying for a ticket. read more

If I could give this Walmart 0 stars I would. First of all the bathrooms are disgusting! They are full of paper on the floor, clogged toilets, and full garbage cans (which causes more garbage to go on the floor,) and the whole bathroom has an odor of sewage and hot piss. Second, the employees have no idea about what customer service is, let alone have half a brain cell. My friends and I were checking out our groceries and asked if they had bags. We were told by our cashier to grab bags from the register beside us where this "woman" proceeded to spaz out over "taking her bags." We then proceeded to explain that our cashier had told us to grab bags from her and she started to scream in our faces... when she finally turns around to do her job and check out her customers groceries (that's been waiting by the way) she proceeds to talk shit about us to the customer saying things like "go take a shower." I was furious by this and until this point I kept my cool. I told her "you're lucky if I don't tell your manager" She responded, "Get my manager" So then Michelle the "team lead" (who was very excited to point out to me that she's a team lead at Walmart at 56 years old) starts screaming at me to get away from the woman that has now threatened that she will "lose her job" over this to supposedly hurt me or something. Michelle and her "team" are very mouthy, with disgusting attitudes, and I will be telling everyone about this experience. read more

The walmart in kingston New York shelves are constantly bare. I'm forced to write a review after trying multiple times to speak with a manager but they just leave u on hold and then eventually they disconnect you. The store looks like its going out of business. They use to carry lots of gluten free items now they barely have any and again what they do stock is empty. They never update the app because it will tell you that they have a product and where its located in the store them you go in and it's not where it said and staff acts like they have no clue. I have no idea what happened to this walmart but it needs new management for sure. It's a sad place to go. read more

I'm not sure who to blame regarding lack of products on shelves. The management will tell you it's corporate And some employees will blame it on lack of staff. I needed something from the deli and it was 7:55 and I was told the deli doesn't open till 8:00am. I left the store. I have been in a long line and observed staff that have yellow vests on just chatting. No one Ever say we are sorry for your wait. This Wal-Mart location is huge and cavernous, yet, unfortunately staffed with unhelpful, ill-mannered characters. Aisles are often cluttered with pallets and other stocking equipment, making shopping uncomfortable and dangerous, too. It takes them forever to restock or replenish sold-out items or sizes. And if you grocery shop here at night or on weekends, forget it! The stockpeople block entire aisles, and very angrily treat the customers like nuisances if they should get in their way. The employees here are not too bright, but even they should have enough sense to realize that those pesty customers are why they are employed there in the first place. read more

This is for the Auto Center. Whenever I go to the Auto Center I'm always greeted by reliably slow service if you can even find a person at the desk. When there is someone at the desk, that means there's usually a line - and because they only have one computer, there's going to be a wait. I've never experienced problems with the mechanics but front end management here is lacking. And frankly, just by their attitudes, they don't care. Especially the female manager. Avoid if you can. read more

The worse day to go shopping at Wal-Mart when your in a rush is of course in the day and later afternoon. It's jam pack and the queue are ridiculously long at every register, even at the 25 or less item! And you would expect those lines to move fast too, but it's as fast as the rest of the lines. I usually come around 11pm when it's almost empty, but not really empty empty. The aftermath of their rush hours shows: boxes opened, seals broken, someone wanted free condoms, nail polish spilled all over the floor. It's like hurricane katrina struck the place. Well, on the bright side, they do live up to the name of always having low price. But come on, people are still stealing from this place. Someone needs an upgrade in security. read more

I ordered some items from Walmart to be shipped to my home. A couple of the items were instead delivered from the Kingston Walmart Supercenter. The man who delivered the items spent several minute peeping into our home through the doorway and windows, and then proceeded to walk around the house to our front garden and start picking flower. I opened a window and told him to leave - he laughed and continued until I yelled at him to get out immediately. Who knows what he would have done or stolen if we weren't home? A couple of days later, a manager from that Walmart called us at 8 PM, when we were eating dinner ( it's very rude time to call anyone after 5 PM) to try to tell me that their delivery men "don't work for Walmart" - which is ridiculous. Obviously the people who deliver their items work for them - I didn't hire anyone to pick anything up. I'll never order anything from Walmart again. They obviously do not care about their customers. read more

PLEASE set up a Senior only shopping time for the duration of the corona virus, so that I and the others like me can shop in relative safety--preferably when you have stock available.
