Unfortunately, the waiting area probably wasn't expanded enough to go along with it. They typically have 3, maybe 4 chairs in that area, but lately, with all the vaccinations and boosters taking place, they pulled in additional folding chairs set up anywhere possible. Instead of a consultation/vaccination area, they put a screen up behind one of the chairs. Nevertheless, it is still a good pharmacy to visit. They have several counters at which you can pick up or pay. And while the pharmacists I've encountered at other Hannafords over the past 2 years have come across as stressed and overworked, the staff here did not come across that way. They were friendly and professional and working with them was very easy.

Now I reviewed this particular chain before out in Middletown New York and it wasn't a very nice one, and unfortunately this one isn't that great either. My main concern/ complaint is the lack of windshield washer fluid at the pumps. I've even gotten a hold of corporate in the past and they said they were on top of it however I've been to this particular location two nights in a row now and since about a week and a half ago at least if there's no washer fluid.... Well actually no I stand corrected there is actually washer fluid in the reservoirs tonight, however there's only two squeegees to go around four different sets of pumps. I will attach a picture of one of the squeegees to this review as it is the most ugly, decrepid looking piece of equipment I've ever tried to use to wash my window. Not sure exactly what anyone thinks a person is supposed to do with this thing but yeah My other observation... Well actually let me go back to the coffee and cookies and once again say that they are phenomenal. I hate being all negative when there are positive aspects. But as I was just saying, my other observation is the garbage around the pump areas and the cigarette butts in the parking lot as you walk up to the door. Coincidentally I'm at the same gas pump tonight as I was last night and the same garbage /paper cups are in the same places that they were yesterday. Someone took the garbage out because they were overflowing yesterday but nobody picked up the trash around the pump. Nobody has swept cigarette butts and quite a while or at least I'm guessing because judging by the number on the ground either it's been a while or there was a group of about 45 people smoking cigarettes all at the same time. So anyway, I'm actually going to stop at a couple other locations later including the one in Middletown that I reviewed earlier just out of curiosity to see if their washer fluid situation has changed any. The corporate office said that they were on top of it however who knows maybe it takes a couple weeks for word to get down the corporate ladder to the managers of the stores to get stuff done.

But I was also budgeting to a point where I was only stricken with an EBT card (food stamp/SNAP card). I craved sandwiches with meat (ham and cheese are my faves), but most of these sandwiches EBT won't pay for (they don't take them for being "prepackaged") and when I found that you had sandwiches, I was almost hooked - but that's when I saw the price. I was carrying only about $6 in cash and when I spotted even the cheapest sandwich at close to $7, I had to turn away. (Their bagels (without peanut butter or similar) were there, but those were a lot less than what I'd get for cheaper at your competitor, so had to forego those completely.) However, this place also has some variations of stuff I couldn't get at your competitor. I found bags of cookies (chewy chocolate chips of the brand name) on your shelves and stuff I couldn't find elsewhere - some more prominently displayed than others. However, there were things that even the competitor had that I had to get today because I'm getting tired of getting the same stuff there continuously and had to be spontaneous. However, the rest of the transaction was okay. I was the only customer in the store for most of my transaction, and the employee who checked me out was rather nice. He allowed me to place my goods on the counter and allowed me to check out the sandwich corner. He waited until I got back to pay before he started ringing me up - and something I valued: patience. This purchase was also my first purchase where I entered my Mobil Rewards number, something I started in 2021 and hadn't used yet. I was surprised that I even remembered I had one, but he never asked if I was a member. Sorry, if my presence bothered you. This place no longer is open 24-7, based on other factors, but this place surely makes itself known at the corner of Routes 9 (US) and 199 (NY). I know several people who would rather pick up goods here and without a doubt have no trouble. It's a fact that this lot is always full, but when coming from a mile north and no car, I had to walk it today. However, I can only come in every so often.

So the two women behind the counter are misinformed, not up-to-date on information, and not up-to-date on policies. There's nothing more unprofessional than going into a location as a first time professional buyer, then come to find out you're disappointed because the professional does not follow the rules and is not up-to-date on the policies. After A conversation with customer service I found out that this company does not provide student account anymore. They only provide professional accounts so that two woman behind the counter took my information had me write it down on a random piece of paper and then acted like they were entering in my information into the computer. Not only did I, but half of my class who has been to this location to fill out student accounts. I think the company needs to keep update with this location and the two employees need to be updated on the policy. Also giving out miss information to another professional is one of the biggest mistakes you could do in the beauty industry. Absolute joke of a business and location. I mean, it always seems expensive there, and probably for good measure. I never see a car there no matter how many times I pass it every day. When I swiped my card, I didn't see the difference in price signs above the machine, and the angle of the signs just made things more horrible. I heard about your five cents off card, but for that, it acts like a credit card - not something that should be touted all over. I was unaware at first that your machines would sound out about Valero's services when I came to pump, and when the pumps just didn't start at a reasonable time, I almost put the pump back and walk away. The voices sounded too lifelike, but at first it almost seemed like you were speaking to your customers from inside using this system and that's something I just don't like. I couldn't believe that even before pumping, the pumps asked if I wanted a receipt. I don't like pumps asking before - in my book, that's considered - pushing the sale, and isn't acceptable. Hearing all this, really made me wonder if I'll ever be back. I know about your competitor next door, but even other Valero's I've visited in the last year don't act this same way and I can sometimes favor them in lieu of your gas pumps.
