Not so with Dedericks in New Paltz; they are very proactive and actually call to tell you is an order has been delayed. Calling? With the big box pharmacies you may wait in a circuitous voice-activated system that is hardly what I'd consider good customer service. in contrast, calling Dedericks and with one button push you're talking to a live person within 15 seconds. if you're getting your prescriptions at a big box chain, you're missing out on a much more pleasant experience from ordering to pickup. Highly recommend supporting your local pharmacy especially when they do everything right!

Pleasantly surprised at their food/snack selection & price, pretty decent prices. I didn't realize the the toy/kid section was also significantly better than Walmarts. But this Kingston, NY location came to the rescue. It's a small detour if we're heading to Woodstock and it's been a savior for those late-night purchases or pickups. I had purchased my fave Threshold brand sheet sets online about 5ish pm on a Friday and was able to pick them up easily here. And even though I didn't pick up my items within their "2hr/Your order is ready" slot, my purchases were waiting for me when I came here 20 minutes before closing. Thank you. The girls at the Pick Up area are sweet and totally helpful. Prices are great and as corny as it might sound, 'Target is my Happy place'.

I know I could easily run to Vitamin Shoppe for my fish oil, rosehip oil, sea moss or natural hair and beauty products- but honestly, I'd rather keep supporting Mother Earth . Every so often when I'm catching up with other shops in Kings Mall, I come here to stock up on a few things. While prices are on the high side, the selections make it worth it. When I stopped by recently, I got one of their smoothies, which was super delicious. They also have nice fresh-pressed juice, pastries and hot meal menus. Bigger applause for catering to Vegans and Vegetarians as well. Mother Earth feels like a one-stop shop. The shelves are filled with everything from supplements and herbs to skincare and unique natural products I won't find in any store- not even Vitamin Shoppe. The environment is warm, earthy and inviting- and can tell they care about what they offer.

When cashing out with a young woman with long red hair, she took her time with scanning my items while I began bagging the items. She rolled her eyes at a fellow employee, in a whining tone told him that he had to relieve her of her cashier duties 'now', and continued to take her time ever-so-slowly. When she told me the total was $139 dollars, I looked at the scanned item screen and saw that the two Perfect bars I'd thought were on sale were over $4 and asked if there was a member discount for the "sale" items. She said yes, there was a membership but did not offer it to me. I then asked to take bars off of my total, as a line had formed behind me. Right before I left, I asked if the membership could be started today during the transaction. She shrugged and didn't say anything as she glared at me and stared at the line of shoppers. I again asked Why aren't you offering the membership to me in line? A customer behind me got very rude and began defending the cashier, who was immature and unprofessional from the start. I told the defensive lady in line that I am new to the area and had never shopped here before. I was blamed for that as well, when the entire time I received poor customer service, was not offered any kind of membership option, and finally the red haired cashier rang some kind of bell... presumably to have me dismissed from the store. For what? I have no idea. This is my first and last shopping experience at Mother Earth. I will tell everyone I meet to steer clear of this place. And, it's way overpriced.... one bag of groceries with no vitamins was $139. Never again. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The selection is good, but not great compared to other stores in the area. They seem to have expanded their space lately, so maybe that'll change soon. In my experiences the staff is not outright rude but they're not exactly nice. They always look at me as if my ID is fake (it's not) and I'm lying about my age (I'm not). Maybe I look young, but that's not cool. Again, compared to other stores in the area, they seem to be the most weary of me, which is annoying.
