She asked if the server had told us about it, and when we said no, she turned around and loudly quipped, publicly, at the server for failing to tell us about the shindig. That definitely turned me off - tell your staff after the customer goes, please. To make matters worse, she was bragging about how much the neighbors to the winery hate their Halloween party because of the loud revelry. I don't think that's something to be proud of.

I have had issues at times with best before dates, however you just need to check. This isn't some super curated beer store in the city catering to beer geeks. It's just a place that stores a ton of beer and has a wide variety. Chill the F out. Not the best beer store nor the worst. Will continue patronizing this place as they are pretty much the only option in town. Hell of a lot better than nothing.
