For the third month our prescription orders haven't been complete necessitating a second trip for pick up. Walgreen's HQ: Please increase staffing in the pharmacy. They are swamped. They'd have to be superhuman to keep up. In addition to a constant stream of customers seeking COVID and flu shots that seems to require a dedicated employee to man the window, answer questions, file paperwork and administer vaccines, they've added a few hundred more Rx accounts from stores that've closed. It's clear from their stressed expressions and the interminable hold time to reach a pharmacist on the phone that they're underwater. And kudos to the entire staff for remaining calm and polite despite the stressors.

I need two injections multiple times a week and the female pharmacist here is regularly so incredibly rude and unhelpful to me when I come for my supplies. I'm unsure why this person has a job interacting with people. She's really unpleasant and I can't help but assume she's an awful person by the way she treats people. This isn't how people who need medicine and medical supplies should be handled. I come in with a list of my supplies. She asks me why I need so many. She says she doesn't have anything without checking. I press. She goes back and it turns out she does have them. Then if she doesn't, she says I should come back next week. I ask if she can order for me, she says to come back tomorrow and maybe she can order without any explanation. She refuses to call other Walgreens to ask about stock and tells me I need to just walk to the other Walgreens to check myself. I walk away feeling like she thinks I'm a drug addict or something and treated pretty horribly. I hope someone in a position to help this situation reads this and understands how she treats people. As a person with a clear medical need, this is totally unacceptable and sad. Please either get rid of this pharmacist or help her treat people more kindly and be more helpful.

No risk of spillage, and they'll all be gone by the time I head out for my return flight. Perfect. For the location, it's not what you would expect. It's not cozy, but it's not cold either. It's affordable when you compare it to paying $1500+ a year for health insurance.
