Huge parking lot on Garvey and San Gabriel. It's not just a pharmacy. Typical CVS setup with aisles clearly labeled, and areas on walls. Pharmacy is in the back. Happy to see the coupon machine is still here! Loved scanning pulling out the long receipt of coupons as a kid hahaha The open hours at the time of writing this review are incorrect! Check the image I posted for correct hours. Carol at Pharmacy was super helpful! Just remember pharmacy takes lunch time off!! They also have self check out so no more waiting in line. Pharmacy line is organized and roped off. read more

Went to pick up some prescription patches, they said I'll take 15 min, we'll call you, Didn't get a called, returned after 90 min, It wasn't ready yet, had to wait again, no place to seat down, they kicked me out from the vaccine area, this was my first and last time at this CVS location. read more

Grabbed a case of alchy for a party but the bottom broke so all the glass fell to the floor and broke. Worker was nice enough to not yell and make us pay for it but cleaned it up instead. Said it wasn't our fault. This is for regular cvs not the pharmacy section. read more

This is one of the worst pharmacies I've ever been to. The first mistake was that they gave my mom someone else's medication. If she didn't double check when she went home, she would have taken a random med! Then today, we had to go back since my mom was suppose to get 3 months of medicine, which means 3 bottles. They only gave her 1 bottle and when she asked the pharmacist that was explaining the medicine if it was 3 months, she said yes! 3 months. So my mom went home come to realize it was only 1 month in the bottle. Not 3. When asked for help, one of the workers there was rude, stated that they don't make mistakes and it was her fault. Will never come back here. read more

Hate this cvs, most of the items got lock up and need to wait forever for staff to come help

CVS Pharmacy - a hand holding a bottle of sunscreen - Pharmacy Near Me - Rosemead, California

[N.b., This location in Rosemead (8225 Garvey Ave) is NOT closed! Several members of my family have been to this location as recent as yesterday (7-31-24).] Back on topic: According to CVS Customer Care's customer service agents, the CVS Pharmacy at this location is having system difficulties preventing them from being able to consistently notify customers with any regularity when prescriptions have been filled. So for auto-filled prescriptions the customer will always have to check the mobile app, or call or visit the pharmacy, to find out when you can pick up your prescriptions. Sometimes they might get it right, but other times they lose the ability to notify you when your prescription is ready for pick up. According to CVS customer service this isn't an IT issue, it's a Pharmacy issue. read more

We visited from out of town. The cashier was friendly. Enforced covid protocol. The only issue was their limited product selection for Align probiotics. This is a drug store and they were low on the medication I needed so I had to buy the 49 count instead of a more cost effective option. It happens. Overall a fine experience. read more

They have this new ghetto trashy Hispanic girl with tattoos working there who treats people horribly. I saw her mistreating an Asian person who could barley understand English.. being Asian myself and living in the Asian community it broke my soul. They're lucky I left and removed myself from the situation or I would've dragged that trashy racist girl outside like she deserved. She's the youngest one there. Works In the AM. Rosa who's been there longest already has a bad sour horrible. but now they hired this girl with tattoos on her arm. It's like they team up to be mean and racist towards Asians. NOT OKAY This CVS by far the worst. read more

Terrible customer service, stood around for 10 minutes to get checked out; at no point in time does the employee who makes eye contact with me multiple times tell me the line starts somewhere else as they just checked out two people standing rite where I am.... 2nd review: Horrendous customer service and product quality! 1. I purchased a PowerExcel brand charging cord for my girlfriend; to my amazement, it did not work at all! And when we were waiting, I politely asked a male associate to help me take out the product which had a lock on it, he told me to wait in a line of 8+ people, and there was only him at the counter with 3-4 of his co-workers doing nothing! 2. When I went back for the return, the email receipt could not be scanned, and another male associate Jose kept on scanning it until I asked him to try and manually input the numbers. He asked me to read the numbers to him, and finally completed the return. 3. I used a 30% coupon for the product, and when I asked for a coupon back, the female associate who was very rude in review #1 (please see below) told me once I used it, I cannot get it back instead of offering anything in complimentary. Upon exiting, I saw the store manager helping customers at the self checkout. Originally, I wanted to voice my concerns, but decided not to do so. Because if a majority of associates are like that in customer service, there is no use at all until they do something to realize the importance of customer service! It's sad that this is the only close CVS close to my girlfriend's house. We would rather go further than to deal with bullshit like this! 1st review: Terrible, terrible customer service! A female associate without a name tag at the self checkout refused to help me redeem a 40% off coupon (I had other associates at this store help me redeem those previously with no issues at all! So, overall, two stars! read more

so is every CVS the same??? NOPE!! not a lot of people here and help is limited but that's a CVS staffing issue. as for the employees they do have, they are SUPER helpful and courteous!! i called for a vaccine as I was having issues making the appointment online for this location, and Maria in pharmacy was SUPER helpful, friendly, and professional! I didn't get the name of the Asian lady in pharmacy who administered the covid vaccine, but she was super nice and professional as well. but they are all great! honestly this CVS is underrated and has one of the best service for any CVS around. I'll drive over a half hour just to get better service here than the local CVS down the street from my house. thank u for the rare great cvs customer service!!! read more

I love coming here looking at their travel column, because I know most CVS would have that section available for us if we need to pick up shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste or lotion in the last minute before going somewhere.. Another plus for CVS...their specials for drinks are amazing sometimes. Get a CVS card and find the deals they have every week! They do sale medication, so if you have headaches, pain or aches and need some curing? This would be a place to be. Another thing I like is their one hour photo print. I know Target and Costco might have the same futures, but hey, if you live down the street from this place, wouldn't you want to come here instead of wasting gas? Oh, yes... there is also a Chase ATM machine for you Chasers who needs cash. Note: Indeed be careful coming here at night. Sometimes there are creepers and homeless around/hidden/sleeping. read more

This is worst of the worst CVS. Beside the parking lot is filled with trash and bumps. The employees here don't give a F about their customers. I was here just to pick up a simple prescription. Their attitude was like I am asking them for a fav! After i gave them my doctor prescription, they suppose to call my name to the speaker. But I can not understand what the hell she or he was saying because their just say whatever like in 2 second. So I waited in front of the pick up desk and keep looking at them. Hopefully, someone act a little professional and will follow up on me. But after over 30 mins, everyone just keep ignoring me. So I was like ok, I need to check with them. At first, they couldn't find it. After i gave them full details, they finally was able to locate it. The whole process took me over one hour! There are many choices in the area and I am not here asking for welfare. Farewell and good luck with your business. read more

I have to say there are certain staff at this store who are not friendly and who look like they like their job. If they are miserable with their job, then find something new to do instead of being so rude to your customers. One cashier, Maricela, always has an attitude, does not smile, or greet customers. If you ask her a question, she is just rude and doesn't care for answering any questions at all. Someone needs to put a tab on her attitude! read more

This CVS is literally down the street so most of the time I'm rushing over here to pick up a few things I need for emergencies(out of hairspray, eye drops, cold medication!) :) It always has what I need available and readily stocked. They only have two registers but they get the line down fairly quickly. Plenty of parking and now they also have a Chase ATM inside which makes my life a little easier as well. TIP: Be careful if you happen to stop by here late in the evening. There are sometimes bums/losers/gangbangers/creepers/etc! here that may do some real harm. My mom got threatened here with my little brother, they tried to steal her car :( Not safe and no security either. read more

Been to a plethora of CVS's and this one is just a shame. Poorly organized aisles, bad selection of merchandise and shady people! Came here one night around 9pm with my mom and witnessed a guy walk out with a 16 pack of beer. Cashier did nothing and then a minute after, another guy ran out with another pack. I think the cashier dude was scared to stop them or something but this incident definitely makes me hesitant to come here at night. read more

Whatever you do, DO NOT PARK here if you plan to meet up with a friend and decide to carpool elsewhere. YOUR CAR WILL BE TOWED!!!!!!!!! Total damage: $165 for small/mid size car + $50 to unlock car (WTF?! isn't every car locked when parked???) + $50 to store car (this is dumb, they say that the moment it gets rolled onto the lot, it's considered stored... doesn't matter if it's one second or one day!!!!!!) + $80 to "release" the car after hours, which is 5pm (or, you can wait until 6am the following day and waive this stupid fee. WHO is going to wait until Monday morning when you have to get to work??) = total of.... $345!!!!!! read more

I come to this CVS at least once a week. I normally just come here with the intent of knowing what to buy and I just go in and out. They have a lot much more of a selection here compared to the Walgreens across the street. The staff here is very friendly and they greet you as you walk in the door. I also come here because of the Chase ATM they have at the front. If you have a card (which I do) it can get you some good deals and provide 20% off my whole purchase. They always seemed to be short staffed, but the cashiers are fast and very friendly. Definitely multi-taskers...talk/scan/handle cash all at once seems to their M.O. 4 Stars for my local CVS! read more

If I can I will give zero star! I was shopping in here two days before, cause I am not sure what I need so I use phone to check on the item and took long time. About 20 mins later, I found out they didn't have the item, so I put it back and was about to leave. When I was at the door the lady who said she was the manager stopped me at the door. She asked me where's the item I just took. I told her I placed it back right where I got it. She said "no you didn't; if you did can you show me where you placed it." I refused to take her to the place and told her if you want to see you can go see it yourself and I'll be waiting for you here. She told me she doesn't have time she has other customers to take care of. I told her it's ok you can help the customer first I'll wait for you. I waited for about 5 minutes. She ignores me right after she's done helping the customer and walks right back to the cashier area. I walked to the cashier area and ask her how long do I have to wait. She said I don't know how long you have to wait. I asked her why she stopped me from leaving she told me she has the right to count the items in the store. I don't know how that has to do with me. I asked for her apologies or else I won't leave the store. She did apologized and I asked for her name. She asked me why would I need her name and I told her that I'll talk to her supervisor. While this happened, the other customers were staring at me like I am a thief. She made me feel like she's being racist. Her attitude towards me wasn't very nice. She should find out the truth before she takes action of stopping me and assuming me of stealing. read more

This is the nearest drug store that I have and I can't complain about that since CVS has some interesting deals in their coupon program (even in CVS prices are very high comparing to groceries and other stores). I usually just walk in to check my blood pressure or to redeem coupons and when I purchase something, I like to be assisted by "Son". He is the nicest cashier that I have seen in this CVS, he even recommended me to use those kind of $2 off coupons with products on sale so I would not spend much money. read more

This is probably the worse CVS I have ever been to, I was there just visiting to see a client that lives near by, after visiting this CVS I learned to love my local CVS, they had dirty carpet, ceiling, some of the packages we yellowish and other merchandise had roach's doppings and a thick layer of dust in it, the store looks like it has not been dust, cleaned or updated since 1985, is really, really, sad, the only positive impact it had on me was that I learned to appreciate my local CVS. read more

I would give a 0 if it let me to be honest. I was furious at this one guy who seems like a manager. I went in to get some picture taken for passport. Like why are you in such a hurry to rush us out for. We are paying is not like we getting it for free. He gave us attitude the whole entire time for no reasons. I just wanted to make sure my pictures look good since is for documents and stuff is not something you can change without complications involved. why is he rushing me for. This cvs is slow but do not park in their lot because they will tow your car in less than a hour from Aaron's Towing which probably scams a lot of people with their tow service. Whether you are there for a hour or less your car is gone because their tow signs says customer parking for 1 hour but the customer is for cvs not the starbucks next door or any other stores in the plaza. Very misleading. They sometimes have someone from tow service sit in a car and watch the people parking in the lot and if you wander to any other stores, the person calls for the tow service and I'm wondering if cvs gets a cut of the fees because they are outragous. Good luck to those of you that patron this plaza. Write to the state attorney general about the tow company so they can stop their unethical practice. http://ag.ca.gov/contact/consumer_mailthnx.php Also write to the Los Angeles DA, go to the Fraud and Corruption tab and under consumer protection download the complaint form. It's an average CVS with everything I was looking for. I'm staying at a hotel down the street and due to a longboard mishap (not mine), we were looking for gauze, tape, and needles (gotta get those splinters out!). We originally stopped by Walgreens at the nearby intersection but due to a very limited selection of items, we moved on over to CVS. There was more parking, the entrance/exits to both drugstores were very cramped with people entering/exiting the wrong doors, but CVS had a nicer atmosphere. It was better lit and had lower shelves so you don't feel cramped, and there were plenty of employees wandering the aisles restocking and moving empty baskets out of your way. There's usually plenty of discounts and we found exactly what we were looking for. Only bad experience: I once went when there were two checkouts open, but for some reason we stood in line FOREVER. There's no designated place to line up and things can get messy if someone's in a mad rush. read more

All I have to say is check your money if you get cash back!!! I was getting a hair cut next door and they were cash only so I ran to cvs a bought a soda and got $40 cash back. The cashier handed me a fake $20. I didn't notice it and tried using it when paying for my hair cut. They informed me it was fake and told me go back to cvs. Cvs gave me the run around saying they check all bills and they would never except fake money. In sense calling me a liar. The manager continued to tell me it's my job to check all my money when getting cash back from them. Since I walked out the door it was mine money and they can't do anything about it. I told him I wasn't leaving until they switched it out and that I was calling the cops reporting them for giving out counterfeit money. He quickly changed his tune. But it shouldn't have been this hard. They should be better at checking all bills on there end to ensure they're real before its too late and putting more people like me in this horrible situation. I don't think I'll ever go to this cvs again and highly advise you all to shop elsewhere. read more
