Walked in to this CVS to get some cold meds. Huge parking lot. Overall a nice organized store. Has all the services including pharmacy, photo printing, passport photos and self checkout kiosks. Saw lots of deals on many items. But one eye sore was a pipe sticking out of the ceiling to collect leaking rain water from the roof. read more

Slowest pharmacy ever! Wait in line for over 30 minutes just to be disappointed at your script not being done and have to wait even longer, while there is a full staff behind the counter looking at the line and doing nothing. read more

Nice shop, very close to my office, therefore, beautifully convenient! Ample parking and the interior spacious. The store near home is normally plagued with traffic turning in and out, limited parking and inside tight and cramped. Today, I'm here for a Flu Shot and some essentials. Again, nice, roomie waiting area, fairly quick service, and the Ouchie Pain minimal. Good job CVS, on Cromwell Ave!!! read more

Madison really went above and beyond tonight to help me at the register trying to apply some coupons to my order using the app. She was patient and did everything with a smile. I always get five star service from the pharmacy but it's nice to also receive it from the front cashiers as well. This CVS location continues to be my favorite CVS and I added yet another reason tonight. read more

I have mixed experiences whenever I come here. Sometimes I get ok customer service, sometimes I get awesome customer service, sometimes now I don't even see an employee at all since they installed the ridiculously finnicky self check outs that I feel like I should get a discount for using. They're ridiculous with their holiday mark down clearance items too. There's no reason candy should only be half off 3 days after a major holiday is over. read more

This CVS Pharmacy is a nice size with the standard CVS layout that is clean and easy to navigate. What I love most about this store is that in addition to the Pharmacy this location also has a Minute Clinic which is located near the front of the store. I have gone there several times when I have been sick and have not been able to get an earlier appointment with my regular primary care physican. The Clinic accepts a variety of health insurance plans and it makes it easy if you are written a prescription all you have to do is go to the back of the store to get it filled. The Clinic is first come first serve - so be prepared to wait for a bit during cold and flu season - and they also offer Flu Shots read more

Terrible experiences. eight people deep when attempting to pick up a prescription. Staff not very pleasant. Drive-in never opened.

Don't even think of using this Minute Clinic. I made an appointment as I was leaving work, got my confirmation, and proceeded to drive over there. Due to traffic and weather, it took me 30 minutes. I then walked through the pouring rain, checked in at the kiosk, and received a message that my scheduled appointment had been cancelled and I'd now have to sign in as a walk-in customer. Not wanting to wait 35 minutes, I left. Nowhere does it state you have a certain amount of time to check in before they auto cancel you. I also received no notice that they had (until my surprise at the kiosk). I did reach out to CVS on social media and they assured me that someone would be contacting me personally. This was on June 3. Since then I've had zero communication from CVS, so it's quite clear that they place customer service at the very bottom rung of the ladder. read more

Worst experience ever. I am officially never shopping or upswing CVS Rx anymore. The pharmacist shut the screen on me as I was trying to get my 9 year old son's medication for pneumonia. It was 7:59. She decided to not fill the prescription and shes me to New Britain where I had to wait 1 hr and 30 mins to get him his prescription. It is shameful that is how this company is run. I will be sending a letter to the CVS corporate office. They don't even deserve a star. read more

This pharmacy is always out of what I need and what they "stock." The little CVS on Main St is better stocked and the staff actually want to help you. While I waited for the pharmacist to see if they had my medication (I was at the drive thru) she kept her back to me. Very rude. I waited far too long and just wanted to drive away but she had my prescription hostage. Moving everything to the Main St Rocky Hill location. Terrible. read more

The one star is for the miserable woman who regularly works at the prescription pick up counter. She has zero communication skills and even less personality. She acts as if she is being bothered every time a customer needs to pick up medication. She should work in a stock room somewhere far away from any customers. read more

I use this CVS regularly...it is always clean and organized and well stocked with whatever I need. There is a front store worker named Kevin who I have seen there for years - he provides excellent customer service every time. Most of the staff other staff is also friendly and helpful. The minute clinic has also been useful for me, they saw me quickly, provided appropriate care and followed up with a phone call the next day to see how I was doing. read more

We came in at about 7 on a weekday and the gentlemen was visibly rude and annoyed with every customer. Some customers even tried to defuse the tension with jokes but he wouldn't bite. He later saw that we were terrified to ask a question and said he was annoyed that it got busy. There were 7 customer in the hour we were there. Didn't catch his name. He was a bald fellow. Awful. The best part of this CVS is the MINUTE CLINIC. Which if you haven't used I highly suggest you do if you're suffering from nasal, throat or chest infections. And the script goes straight to the pharmacy there and your on your way quickly. read more

Terrible pharmacy service. somebody called my home asked for work number. Was told to take rx to Walgreens or Stop and Shop. Turns out I called it in early so they were trying to get rid of me. I started with Tom 40 years ago until CVS swallowed him up. Now Dave C the Pharmacy manager just quit due to the chaos in the dept. I think I am going to move to the new Community Pharmacy and avoid the hassle. As far as people talking about the organization, I think it looks tacky with junk hanging out of the middle aisles. The cant decide if they are CVS or the dollar store. They also fall way below Wethersfield and Main St stores in internal reviews. read more

I went to the Minute Clinic in Rocky Hill to get a vaccination of which there are 2 in the series to be taken 3-4 months apart. My problems started when the bill was sent to the wrong department in my insurance company. The nurse sent it to the medical division. It should have been sent to the pharmaceutical division. Pretty simple right. Just resend it to the correct department or division. That was 1 year and 2 months ago. After many, many, many phone calls and long wait times for a "customer service" person the 1st problem got resolved. That took 3 months to sent it to the correct department. Second shot should have been simple ...just do it the same way. Send the bill to pharmacy at my ins company. It was again sent to medical. That was one year ago. I have to date spoken to many, many people at minute clinic corporate. The wait time on the phone was very long. They clearly don't want to help you. I even had my ins company and minute clinic on a 3 way call thinking this was the way to resolve the situation that had been going on for months. I was assured it would be handled and finalized in the next 10 days. Nope! When I had my ins co call them and yet again they lied and they said they never got the information. Subsequent to that and yet in another phone call when I explained the situation again and to whom, I was told the person I had spoken to didn't work there anymore. Every time you call you have to start all over again and each person says they understand completely and will look into the problem. I could go on and on. This has been a nightmare of epic proportions. Minute clinic is filled with uncaring, rude, inept and incompetent people. It's apparent that it is not only ok with management but in my opinion is a direct reflection of management. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU! Don't go to minute clinic unless you want a billing nightmare. Good luck... and choose wisely. read more

The Minute Clinic at this location is excellent my wife had a severe case of poison ivy and her visit there was quick and pleasant. She even got a follow up call later that day to insure she got her medication and was having no issues with it. Excellent experience read more

This is the worst cvs I have ever been to. The manager Mark is extremely rude and dismissive to customers. I asked for a picture cd and he told me I had to wait 30 minutes until the person who handles that comes back from break. 30 minutes to be handed a cd that was two feet from where he was standing. I will not be back to this cvs and I advise people who are going in and may have any type of question to avoid it as well. read more

My friend had minor surgery and I volunteered to pick her up and take her home. Since she lives close to CVS in rocky hill we decided to use the drive thru to drop off her Rx for pain medicine. I will say that the drive up window acoustics leave alot to be desired. You have to scream back and forth with the tech in order to hear each other clearly. Well it turns out that the resident who wrote the Rx did not include the correct DEA # so it could not be filled. I called the hospital, doctor and even a friend that works at the hospital to try and get the situation resolved with no result. I usually despise CVS and all of it's corporate BS, they give absolutely zero f*cks if you get your meds on time or not. The pharmacy tech who originally took the Rx slip at the window could not have been more helpful! I think her name was Maria, she said she was in school for pharmacy. She really bent over backward to make sure she tracked down the correct person at the hospital to remedy the situation. This included several phone calls there all the while keeping me updated. Towards the end of her shift she became even more persistent because she wanted to be sure my friend had her meds before she had to clock out for the night. She made sure she finished the task to my friends 100% satisfaction. Yes she did. read more
