I love that everything is plant based no harsh chemicals which is such a big deal.....So if you need Bath, Body, Candles or Laundry detergent you should check them out.

Piper's studio was clean and welcoming, and she herself was very friendly and put me at ease. This was probably the least painful one I've ever had too. She uses a combination of strip and hard wax which (I feel) made it easier to get everything off. She is a true professional and clearly knows what she's doing. Her prices are very competitive and she's worth every penny. Already booked my next appointment :) Using the app also makes things a lot easier since you can modify or change your appointment.

Stopped by Hair City over the weekend to pick up some items and let me say it was quite a "hair…read moreraising" experience - however I mean that in the best way possible! Located in a non-descript shopping plaza that I almost passed by even using GPS, Hair City is in a shopping plaza that also houses a hair salon (very convenient) but also a fish market (an odd combination to be sure). For a Saturday afternoon - the parking lot was hopping and although the fishy smell that emanated from the hallway was a bit off putting, I persevered as I was on a mission. Once inside I was greeted by a plethora of products for both men and women. From wigs and extensions to hair dyes and styling products, this store has it all. Although the store has a myriad of products, which might be overwhelming, the shelves were neatly arranged and organized. As I traveled up and down the aisles, I was amazed at how many products Hair City had in stock for not only women but for men as well. . The staff was friendly and accommodating and they were able to help me find exactly what I needed in a short amount of time. Even though I had a hard time correctly explaining what I needed, I must have made enough sense as they directed me to exactly what I was searching for. A great hidden gem in Hartford.
