I get it that you're busy but at least pick up the phone and let us know that you are with a client and will answer the call as soon as you can. Or ask me for my phone # and call me back when you're not so busy! Oh and apologize for keeping me waiting! My time is valuable! Customers on the phone are just as important as those in the store! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! I would give zero stars if I could! I shop here frequently as it is literally down the street from my house. I love CVS because of the extra bucks they offer and their coupons. Firouz is the most rude and condescending person I have ever come across. Every time I have been here he has had the worst attitude. Today while waiting to check out he walks to the register I'm waiting at and tells me "self check out registers are open". It's clear that I can see that. In the past I haven't been able to use my rewards through self check out. I let him know that I would be paying in separate transactions, he asked HOW MANY!? He continued to sigh, roll his eyes and let it be known how much he was absolutely bothered while ringing up each of my transactions. I asked to speak to a manger, some young lady who was the supervisor said I can help you. I explained the situation and she said oh I'm so sorry! She should of offered to help me check out with my remaining items I was purchasing but she didn't. Any person working in customer service should make customers feel welcome not like they are a bother. Firouz you need to fix your attitude or find a job for where you do not have to deal with customers. I will never shop here again because of Firouz!! Jennifer the pharmacist is awesome! I have a high deductible insurance plan and my prescription was going to cost $500. I just got out of the hospital and it was really important I start it that night. She patiently tried running it through different RX discount programs and finally reminded me to check for a manufacturer savings program which worked and made the medication free. I wish I can give them -5 star! They tricked my parents to join the care pass program, which they do not need at all! Worst, they will place a charge to the credit card $5 per month. When I went to store and try to cancel for my parents, they refused to cancel for us, and insisted that we should go to the website (which is not working at all), and the phone number, which is again, not working! I originally wrote a review and gave 1 Star wishing I could give negative stars. Over the months, maybe due to lots of complaining and disgruntled feedback, I have not had as many issues. I now order my refill and go pick it up without any extra problems or attitude. Norma is great. She knows the regulars by name and really cares about customer service. Worst pharmacy ever. Made an appointment 4 days ago for a flu shot and dtap. I am there before my 5:00 pm appointment and am told they are out of the flu shot. I show the counter person my confirmation #'s and she said let me check for you. As she is checking the pharmacist walks out with her bag of hot Cheetos and declares she is leaving for lunch. The counter girl calls her back and they look at their computer. Yep there I am scheduled for shots. The pharmacist then say nothing I can do I am at lunch now. Then I'm told I will have to wait for the pharmacist to return from lunch around 6:00 pm. Are you kidding. I left work early for this appointment. I also received not 1 but 2 email confirmations. Will be telling everyone not to go to this establishment. Also who eats food behind the counter when you are filling prescriptions. Nasty!! read more

F this Pharmacy. I asked my Dr's office to send my prescription to another pharmacy but with miscommunication it ended up where I had to pick it up from this hell hole. The 'head technician' was rude, ill mannered and acted like we the customers, were inconveniencing her. I observed her servicing other customers while I waited and wow, her attitude sucked big time. Never have I experienced such lack of concern or efficiency with a pharmacy. It is scary to think they are allowed to dispense drugs with the lack of attention to detail that I have experienced with this location in the last 2 weeks. I have been up there multiple times and each time have dealt with a different pharmacist and/or pharmacist assistant, none of which have shown the least bit of concern that a prescription was either unfilled as requested or that a well-known and dispensed drug was unavailable. I am stuck going to this pharmacy due to insurance constraints, but I will be investigating other location options. This place is just awful. read more

Most people who work here are nice, but the pharmacist is a miserable, unfriendly, mean person. They are always slammed and I feel awful for them, but there is no excuse for treating customers like crap!!! I'm using the super easy app for Walgreens to transfer all my prescriptions with CVS. This pharmacy NEVER answers the phone. After calling over a half a dozen times I gave up and went in. I called again as I stood right in front of them and as the phone continued to ring not one of the four pharmacists/pharm techs behind the counter bothered to answer. However, two of them did have time to fiddle around on their own personal devices. They are nice enough--and often times even accomodating--when you deal with them in person, but other than that I can only describe their behavior as both unprofessional and downright disrespectful. read more

The worst customer service! I'm on anti seizure medication and I had refills on my bottle that I requested to be refilled as I had 5 days left. My other prescriptions are ready and I ask where is the medication I really need? The pharmacist says "in process to pick up in DOWNTOWN LA because your dr sent it there and we can't do anything about it. What the flip? I have no business to be in Downtown LA! I had 4 refills on my original bottle that I picked up in PR when it was ORIGINALLY prescribed! Then I proceeded to ask if I didn't ask about this medication where it was sent would you have told me? And why haven't I heard anything from CVS in Downtown. She didn't even have the answer. She did the blame game because she knows what S show they are. In a snarky voice says, "well, I submitted the medication request and hope the neurologist sends it back as soon as possible." At least have courtesy to give me a couple anti seizure meds in case it's "in process" or need to "re order. " This is not a narcotic or addictive drug. It's for a serious medical condition. They always over order your prescription to push the 3 month orders to you because it lowers their transaction cost per refill if they do it in bulk. The lines are always long. I waited 9+ minutes on the phone to talk to someone in pharmacy four times today before giving up. They said they've contacted my doctor for refill but according to my dr, he never got their call. So now, my dr and I are waiting for this pharmacy to do their job so I can get my refill! Unbelievable, this has been an ongoing problem for weeks! Update: I walk up to the counter to inquire and of course they give me the same line that they've been trying to contact my dr all day...etc.. so I grab my phone and call the dr myself and hand the phone to them! Why do I have to do their job?! But that's not the end, after talking to my dr they said my meds will be ready in an hour but I go the next day to pick it up and it's still not ready so I wait once again! read more

This place is horrible. They auto call you for renewals constantly. I've asked them to stop. They tell me they will, but I keep getting calls. When I call to renew and they need to call the Doctor they can't be bothered to call you back, yet I'm still getting the robo dialer calls. Very annoying. Also, they don't answer the phone. I just called and was on hold for 17 minutes before hanging up in frustration on top of all this, they all have a crappy attitude and could care less. read more

Find another Pharmacy. We use to go to Walgreens but because of insurance we had to move to CVS. Three days to try and get a prescription filled. But we received a call after the first day that it was ready only to waste time going and them not having the correct brand. This last time we called and they said it would be ready in 15 minutes. So I wait 3 hours only to get there and them tell me it's almost done "they will expedite it". I don't think those words mean anything at this pharmacy anymore. So while waiting in line I learned a few things... "don't ever call here, we are tooo busy no one ever picks up the phone"; "our manager doesn't care about the complaints"., and "They know we are short staffed and don't care". Sad that I have to see person after person go to the counter only to be turned away cause they don't have it ready, they don't have the medicine yet or they supposedly called them because of insurance or something and yet none of them got a call. I will say the stafff is doing the best that they can with what they have and were nice. Probably gave out too much info on their operations but it was helpful to know that I need to make another change now. read more

If you want to receive the worst service ever attend this location's pharmacy. The ladies who are titled Pharmacy techs are very unprofessional and possess no character. Here's some of the scenarios I experienced with them. I asked for my medication to be delivered last Thursday and the lady on the phone stated they will be delivered on Saturday or Monday the latest. I picked my meds one week later today! What if I'm an old patient who is in need of her medication and is unable to go and pick her meds? Even today when I was dropping off my new prescription the lady name Laura or Lauren stated it will take one hour for them to have my prescription which is only an ointment ( nothing to fill or count) ready because they just opened the pharmacy!!! Also when I asked the lady to hold on to an eye drop till I get back and will pay for it at the time of pick up, she grabbed the eye drop and threw it towards the other desk not even her desk! Very unprofessional and rude. The pharmacy manager was standing next to her and didn't even get enclosed, I guess that's how they train their staff to treat their patients. I'm currently looking for another local pharmacy to switch my contract since these were not the only bad experiences I've had with them and I'm sure will not be the last ones. Furthermore, I'm sure there are a large number of customers / patients like myself who are very dissatisfied with their services . read more

Therefore, I possibly have to reimburse the insurance for this pharmacy's misdeed in a few months. It doesn't matter if it's incredibly busy. The worst Pharmacy by far. Every prescription I have had placed there was a problem. Constantly on hold, and then they say it is the system. Also, I call in to see if a prescription that my doctor called in had been filled, after 2 days it was not filled, then they ask me when will i be coming in to pick it up, I give them a time, and when I go to pick it up it had not been filled yet, then i have to wait for almost 45 minutes for it to get filled. That is just a couple of many problems I have had to deal with them. And they never apologize for their mess up. read more

Been waiting over a week for CVS to get in contact with my Dr to refill a prescription. I go in today because i get an automated message saying my prescription is ready only to find out they never even tried to contact my dr! It's been almost a week and this is a prescription I NEED. And I waited 30 minutes in the drop off line because this pharmacy is always so short-staffed just to be disappointed and told by the pharmacist to call my doctor myself if I wanted it done. I don't mind doing that but isn't that something simple you should be capable of doing for your customers? I just moved to the area and have always used CVS. I went 3 different times to fill prescriptions in 1 weekend (my son had an ear infection and was throwing up the antibiotics). Each time I went, the pharmacist was on break. One time the pharmacist was standing right there. Looked at me and said I'm on break, even when I mentioned they were always on break. I work in a hospital and understand the necessity of getting a break, but I also know the job is about customer service. I left, took my prescription to Ralphs. It was filled immediately, the staff was so friendly, and gave me a different spoon to give the medication so my son would take it easier. SO much better!!! Just go to Ralphs. This may be one of the worst run CVS stores ever. I have lived in the area for 4 years now and transferred my prescriptions the first year. After long lines and terrible service...not to mention they messed up twice on my prescriptions, I found better service and availability at the Ralph's next door. Now 4 years later after having eye surgery, Ralph's did not have the prescription I needed so reluctantly I went back to CVS. What a mistake. The actual pharmacist filled my prescription but denied my insurance for expiration. I called my insurance and I had the new card and it was the pharmacy's mistake. I went back the next day to find the pharmacist was at lunch and would be back in an hour. Geez! What pharmacy closes for an hour for lunch? CVS does. Amazing! Not much better after 4 years. This is the absolute worst pharmacy we have ever used. With rare bright spots, this place is a nightmare. Imagine getting released from the hospital from in-patient surgery, bringing RX for pain medications to them, and being told that they don't have even 1 of the three drugs (all of which are pretty common) --- and won't for 6 days! They didn't even offer to call another CVS to see if they had it. No empathy, no concern, no customer service, no meds. When we asked about other CVS stores, the answer was "we don't know what other stores have." Hello? How about checking, especially since the other store wouldn't discuss it with us without them having the original RX. On many occasions, they have billed the wrong insurance company (resulting in higher costs to us). They have quoted hundreds of dollars (in one case $900) for medications, and not even bothered to mention a generic equivalent or close substitute. When I didn't want to spend the $900, I did research, spoke to my doctor and ended up spending $20. Yes, the doctor could have prescribed something cheaper, but the $900 med was better for my condition. I was willing to compromise. The mistakes and lack of service go on and on. When I spoke to a man who said he is the Pharmacy Manager about the patient just being released from the hospital after surgery, and their unavailability of pain meds for 6 days, he was indignant and said it wasn't their job to check other CVS pharmacies. I asked what he expected us to do, and he said he wasn't a magician. He then grudgingly said they can call 1 other store as a courtesy. He was a true indignant horse's ass. He also thinks the word "friggin" is a horrible swear word. I wish I had said what I was thinking. He should never be in a customer service position. 0 stars for this store. The uncaring and unfeeling wait of 6 days for pain meds was the last straw. Oh, this was not the first time they didn't have a medication and I had to go to a different CVS. It was simply the straw that broke the camel's back. My wife feels even stronger about their lack of service than I do. Incompetence and/or uncaring is the status quo here. P.S. If it were possible, they would get NO STARS. Sadly, this poor service is not representative of all CVS stores. But there have been so many instances of poor service and poor training that we just went to another pharmacy, had everything filled, and transferred all of our prescriptions out of CVS. Sadly, we won't have the same great online app that CVS has, but the trade off for a knowledgeable pharmacy with good customer service is well worth it. read more
