The answering agent wanted me to provide the DOB for a new patient which of course didn't exist since it was a new patient to CVS and would not direct me to a pharmacist. She took care of the entire line and drive thru, doubled up on the register, and had a smile on her face the entire time. I've worked independent pharmacy for 7 years and she is very very impressive. 4 stars only because of her, would be 1 due to CVS not providing proper staffing. The drive through is frequently closed which is inconvenient for me as a mother with children. Hauling them all in is a huge inconvenience. Would give 0/5 stars if I could. Do not bother coming here unless you want to be completely ignored by staff and their responsibilities towards you and your pharmacological treatment. One or two bad experiences I can gladly excuses, shitty days happen, but to have the amount of consistent bad experiences as I have been having with them.. absolutely ridiculous. I have actually gone multiple days without being able to take my prescribed medicines because staff drops the ball so often. One of my medicines weren't in stock, so the employee said, don't worry, you pay for the whole order now and I'll call you when the rest of your order comes to the store. Ok, no problem, I did that. I went back to the store 3 or 4 times after that because no one got in touch with me and everytime I had to go thru the painful process of explaining my story and wait for the pharm tech to verify. Turns out the girl I had spoken to went off to vacation without ever telling anyone what she had promised me or even making a note of it somewhere and the rest of her coworkers felt her vacation time was too precious to be disturbed for, well if it was precious to her, she would have had her responsibilities taken care of while she was gone. I missed out on 2 weeks worth of medicine over that debacle. The next time I had to miss medication because of them was when I put in the request 3 times for my prescription to be refilled thru the automated system, because god forbid I could actually talk to a real person, and nothing. I called them a month before I ran out, then a week before to check in again, and then yesterday again. I am a night nurse, I don't get a lot of time to myself and I certainly don't have time to be chasing a pharmacy around to do their job. DEFINITELY not going back, wouldn't recommend anyone else doing that either. read more

This is my last time coming to this pharmacy. 1st visit: I drop off 1 prescription & told the wait is 30 minutes. Fine with me, I go walk through the store.... time is up so I go sit in waiting area of pharmacy. 20 more minutes pass. I politely ask to check the status. I'm told it's been ready and I was never called back there. Ok, maybe it's a bad day. 2nd visit: I drop off 1 prescription & told it's 1 hour wait. I say I'll wait, please make sure I'm called when it's ready. 30 minutes I check in to see if it's ready since all other customers are gone. They say no & I sit back down. A man comes up to drop off & ask to have his prescription "expedited" making a joke with the pharmacist. She calls over the loud speaker that it's ready in less then 4 minutes. Yeah- haha very funny. On a positive note, the manager and the employees are all super helpful. Anytime I ask a question, that have all gone above and beyond to help answer or help me find what I'm looking for. However... They are constantly out of stock on items. Everything for CVS brand items to basic items like excedrin migraine medicine... out of stock. They are no longer my quick go-to place because I know that I'll be disappointed and have to run into yet another store to find what I need. I don't understand why they have so much trouble managing their stock. Disappointed In addition the pharmacy staff are awful. There is a male staff member (tall/bald) that is super helpful. But the rest of them. Are terrible. There is a woman who works at the inside drop off that is cranky and has been snippy with me and I've heard her that way with others on numerous occasions. Do not use this Minute Clinic! I checked in online to get my 3 year old a flu shot, and it said to be there in 20 mins. I get there a bit early, check in, and it says we're next in line. We sit in the waiting area and the doctor comes out and takes the woman BELOW US on the list. I proceed to wait forty $@#%ing minutes with a hungry, tired toddler before they come back out. No explanation as to why they arbitrarily took the next person on the list. Nothing. And because she's three the Clinic is my only option! Can't do it at the pharmacy! My daughter's entire appt took less than 10 mins. Just ridiculous, why even have the online check in if you're going to ignore it? I'll never come back here again. On top of this their women's restroom was completely disgusting. Someone clearly doesn't know how to use a toilet, and apparently they don't check them often enough to clean them. I came to this pharmacy right after being discharged from the ER, and there was an African American lady(she did not have a name tag) in the pick-up station, and it took her an hour to look up my name and the attitude she had was horrible after an hour of searching my name she tossed the medication at me in a very disrespectful way! Avoid this pharmacy at all cost. They are not interested in getting you the best price. I actually found other locations that are 75% cheaper. When I attempted to return a prescription I had just picked up because I found it much cheaper elsewhere they refused to take it back even though I had just picked it up. The lady at the drive up needs to be better trained. She needed help both times and when she spoke I could barely hear her or understand her. I found Kroger, Walgreens, Tom Thumb, and Walmart to be much cheaper. I just filled my last prescription with CVS for life. I will be contacting my company benefits department and share my experience with them and recommend CVS no longer be the prescription provider of choice. It's disgusting how much you hate your job and people that you take it out on those that are already having a bad day. Bad day or not, if you're such a negative and miserable person, find a job you can do from home so your presence isn't ruining other people's day. I've been spammed with calls telling me my rx is ready only to arrive and find that I'll have to wait another 30 min - 1 hour. Also, they literally lost a prescription I dropped off. Eventually, they found it, but when I came to pick it up the following day (after they called to tell me it was ready), they couldn't find the filled rx and asked if I could come back. The services at this location are fine; this rating is based on the ladies bathroom. So nasty! The sink is covered with a thick layer of old crud, floor unswept, and splatters of poop? blood? on the wall by the toilet. Admittedly, I am Walgreens lover at heart. I like their product selection much more than CVS's. However, when I first moved to Plano, I was terribly sick. Fever, chills, nausea, coughing- you name it. Since I didn't yet have a doctor in the area, and I didn't feel it was necessary to visit an ER, I went to the Minute Clinic. Check in was simple using a little kiosk and the wait wasn't horrible- about 30 minutes. The lady who saw me, I think a NP or PA, gave me the most thorough exam I've ever had when visiting a clinic due to an illness. At the end of my visit, she wrote a prescription that I was able to fill at the CVS pharmacy, and a few days later I was feeling better. The cost of the trip, even with my short term insurance covering nothing, was reasonable. I would definitely use the Minute Clinic again. read more

The pharmacy did not have either of my monthly prescriptions in stock and the $99 minute clinic fee I paid (had my bi-annual sinus infection) was a total waste. I basically received a pat on my head and ushered out the door with 'you have a cold and allergies, please buy $50 worth of allergy medication on your way out'. 4 days later I'm coughing up a lung and missing work. I called back to see if they would call me in an antibiotic and received a polite 'that would be against our policy'. It sure wasn't against their policy to accept my $99 clinic visit fee. I had a prescription accidentally sent there vs the one closest to my house- I obviously wasn't feeling good so I just went with it..... Mistake! I didn't go pick it up and drop the other off until the middle of the day (around 2) thinking it would be the slow time and I might actually not want to choke the pharmacy people before I left- wrong again. I was the only person there, they had 3 people working (granted they appeared to be actually working on something and not just standing), I waited 15 minutes before I was angry enough to leave. Ref my RX# xxxxx;Ipratorium 0.06% sprayI am supposed to get 5 bottles per doctor's prescription& have been getting 5 past several months. on 8/23 I only got 3 bottles. Called 8/29, Pharmtech denied I was eligible for 5 but only 3; asked him to check my refill history, he talked to Pharmacist & admitted they had miscalculated, However wanted me to drive back to the pharmacy again to have it corrected. No apology etc. I told him just mail it but he wouldnt. This is more than 10 times and for almost 2 years I have been receiving only 3 bottles vs the prescription that required 5. CVS repeatedly told me my Insurance denied 5 and approved only3. I had gone back to my doctor 2x to ensure his prescription reflected my needed usage and I was always running out of the spray! I then called the insurance and was told that it was CVS that was giving me short!. I'm a frequent shopper here and recently I tried to get a flu shot at this CVS. The pharmacist escorted me to the back and bent me over telling me that the vaccine would be shot into my hamstring, so naturally following the pharmacist's order I dropped my underwear and bend over. The pharmacist, comes close to my ear and whispers in my ear, "This'll only hurt a little bit." So, I naturally don't think much of it, and just brace for the needle. My anal cavity feels a stretch and I end up engulfing the pharmacists fat cock in my asshole and he blasts his hot, creamy load in my asshole. I look back and it's my pastor. The pharmacy at this CVS has the worst customer service I have ever been to. They lied when they told me they would follow up with my doctor concerning a medication which in turn made me pay four times the price I should have. After calling my insurance company I learned of their mistake. They also lied when they told me four days ago that they would order my medication and it would be ready. Instead of telling me they just forgot to order it they sent me off with the few pills they had remaining.
