I was running errands in the area and wanted a quick - really quick - bite to eat. I thought this upscale convenience store might be a good option. I'd stopped in once for beer and knew it was pricey, but locally owned convenience stores are typically pricey. And I know the rent here must be hefty, so... I get it. It's a nice little store - well stocked with impressive variety. Mind you, they don't have much in the way of meals to-go, but that wasn't too surprising. I think they're catering to locals by having an excellent wine selection, a respectable beer selection, and a good to very good selection of general food groceries. The store was very clean. After deciding that a pre-packaged, mass-produced sandwich sounded awful, I pieced together a fun on-the-road meal of crackers and cheese. They had 5 varieties of Triscuits, which was a pleasant surprise, and I settled on the smoked gouda. Good choice - rich, flavorful, salty. Instead of a block of cheese, I bought two cheese sticks (I know, I know) to eat with my Triscuits. It actually made for a yummy and healthy on-the-fly meal. The lady running the store had the air of being the owner, but I'm not sure. She was on the phone the whole time, speaking what turned out to be German. She did pause long enough to talk to me when I was ready to check out, but she didn't acknowledge me otherwise the entire time I was there. And I was there longer than planned since Yelp was in serious need of some pics of this place... So minus one star for lack of customer service. When you pay a notable premium for a locally owned, high-end food mart like this, it'd be nice to be acknowledged. $5 for the Triscuits and cheese sticks were $1 each. $7 for a very quick, healthy meal with delicious Triscuits left over. Pricey? Very. But that wasn't surprising. A well-stocked mini-grocery store in a high-rent area of town is there for convenience, and you pay for convenience. Period. But at least it comes with selection and covers a lot of bases in a small space. read more

We come to the shops of legacy quite often and tonight we stopped by and tried to buy something and was told cash only in a very rude way. I did not appreciate the customer service and will not return ever again and I will share my experience in social media for people to be aware. My advise is for the owners to make sure their employees act professionally to avoid costing them money. read more

Convenient location for people in Legacy Village. The people were very kind as well. And, good selection for a convenience store.

I love this store very convenient for me and the people who are working there very nice and friendly they are too helpful to get in the stuff what customers are looking for even if they don't have it or they don't carry at the moment in the store they are providing for you as soon as possible and not mention, the store is very neat clean and organized. Ran in for a Diet Coke break and the older cashier pointed to a tiny post it note taped to the counter saying "$5 minimum" and then asked if I had cash and I said no and then he repeated "its a $5 minimum so you need to buy something else". This must be a recent change because I have gone in for just a drink before with no issues. I ended up walking around the corner to the bistro and got a drink to go for $2. read more

High prices but you pay for convenience I guess. Not really versed in customer service. And if they moved any slower they'd be closed.

I love this convenience store located walking distance from my apartment. The owner is always very polite and accommodating when I come into the store. She greets me by name and always makes me feel welcome. The store is very clean and has a great variety of things that I need always. I don't have a bad thing to say about Legacy Mart and will continue to be a loyal customer. read more

Just came here at 6 pm on a Saturday and the guy would let us pay cash. Card only because he already counted the register and he's about to get off so we can either pay with a card or wait for the next cashier. We didn't bother waiting. Won't be back. read more

So...Apple Maps and Google both map to this location...and fail. I call the location and the guy is no help...he tells me to hold on...puts the phone down and has a 4 minute conversation with someone about what they are going to do this weekend, then comes back on the line and tells me he can't help direct me from the MAJOR intersection within the Shops at Legacy where the maps apps direct you to where the store is located. Epic fail at basic customer service. I stumbled across the tiny store weeks later on a future visit, but definitely didn't stop in. It's amazing how little people regard folks seem to give to customer service, ex specially in a tourist area. You'd think you'd want to help direct folks to your store. read more

Legacy Mart is really close to my office, so I go in pretty often. There is a really great selection of beer and wine (especially for a convenience store). A nice plus the lady who runs the store during the day, she is lovely and is always able to put a smile on my face! read more

Has your basic necessities. No hard liquor, but they do carry beer and wine. I was in the area on a business trip (stayed at the Cambria, and had no car), came here a couple times. Seems to be the only market store within walking distance from where I stayed read more
