This location is conveniently located in the heart of Peoria off 107th x Olive. Plenty of ample parking typical of most CVS locations. Parking lot is clean as is the entryway to the store. My wife and I were greeted when we walked inside of the store. We were asked if we needed assistance finding anything. The store is exceptionally clean and everything we came for was in stock. My wife had a vaccine administered at the pharmacy at this location. She checked in online and we were greeted immediately. The pharmacist explained the procedure and would be with us momentarily. She administered my wife's vaccine. It was done so efficiently, professionally and she even asked my wife wait for a few minutes to be sure she felt no adverse side effects! My family and I received our COVID Booster shots yesterday morning, and we were all impressed with this store and pharmacy. We were walk-ins, and were given our paperwork to complete so the information could be entered into all the proper databases by staff. On the paperwork, I did not notice that there was information that needed to be filled out on the back of each sheet. Staff was kind and respectful, and asked us to fill it out. Our wait time was pretty minimal, as there were those with appointments who were of course taken first. The staff were efficient and kind, and all were masked and gloved. While waiting, we saw staff deal with a variety of questions, attitudes, and comments from customers. They were professional and appropriate. I was very happy with our experience at this store, and I will return to shop there, even though it is a bit out of the way to do so. read more

Dr. Russell Stevenson gave me the flu shot and it was painless. I've gotten flu shot at many pharmacies but Dr. Russell Stevenson is the best. My arm did not feel sore. Pain is 0/10. Highly recommend getting your flu shot from him. Schedule ahead online. read more

After waiting in line for 20 minutes to pick up a script at this drive through I continually get attitude from 2 of the female employees. Worst pharmacy never takes responsibility for their mistakes. They overcharge by not paying attention to discount and prescription assistance cards on file. Get your prescription filled somewhere else with less headache and a competent staff. read more

Summary: Overcharged. Prescriptions not correctly filled. When you pick up a prescription they give (and charge you for) other prescriptions you didn't ask to have filled. They always claim it is someone else's fault (Drs, etc.) but these problems do not happen at other pharmacies. After a year I am going back to Costco where I get accurate information and good service. Details: Insurance changed to Caremark and if I wanted a 90 supply (cheaper than 30 day supplies), I had to use mail order (whole set of problems there) or pick them up at CVS (took several days of misinformation before they could correctly give communicate this information). Problems at this store (and two other CVS stores): All prescription insurance companies give you drug costs online. CVS prices at the register are significantly higher (30-40%) than the web page price. After 90 minutes on the phone (talking to several people including supervisors) they admitted the prices given for drug costs online had nothing to do with the actual price when you got the drug (they were "estimates" - very poor ones). We have had prescriptions the DR writes such as 1-3 pills a day or just says as needed. CVS can't seem to get these right - they translate them to a daily pill and fill at the minimum amount (eg get only enough for 1 pill a day not 2 or 3). They won't put on the bottle what the Dr prescribed (can be a problem when you have 20'pills in a bottle marked one a day for a month when it is really as needed). Because they enter the prescription info into their system wrong and that is all they see afterwards they claim the Dr did it wrong (even though you have a copy of the prescription/bottle right there). Sent someone to pick up a prescription and pharmacy said 3 others had to be picked up also (ones not needed yet and not called in or on auto fill). When I called to say make sure no autofills, it was a long discussion before they finally say ok but I can't trust them as nothing was changed. Bottom line, Caremark prescription insurance only covers pills over $30, after a hefty prescription only deductible, and the prescription out of pocket max is very high. So we are paying out of pocket anyway and getting overcharged and poor service. Going back to Costco - same prices and much better service. read more

Do NOT use this pharmacy if you actually NEED your medication! My 80-year old mother has had her pain medication prescriptions sent here for 4 years, every month. We saw her doctor on a Weds and she sent the RX over electronically, as usual, to CVS but it had a fill date of Sunday due to pain medication requirements. We stopped by on Thursday, and I checked that it had been received, which it had. I then asked if it would be a problem getting it on a Sunday, and was assured "oh no, it won't be a problem at all, we have it in stock". Sunday rolls around, and I called to ask about picking up the meds, and was told that they couldn't fill the prescription because they didn't have enough medication on hand. Are you kidding me??? They only give you a 30-day supply of pain meds, and hers were running out that afternoon! I told them my 80-year old mother with chronic pain will not have any pain meds. I got an "oh well" attitude from the staff. Horrible customer service. read more
