I would strongly urge anyone in Paso Robles to avoid using this pharmacy for their medication. Out of all the pharmacies I have used throughout my life, this store has provided by far the worst experience of any. It is extremely rare that they have your medication ready to dispense on time. The communication from the pharmacy to the patient is inconsistent. If you need to speak to someone in the pharmacy, you need to physically go into the store and wait in what is usually a long line, because their store policy is currently to not answer the phone in the pharmacy. They just let it ring because they are understaffed. Again, I can't urge you strongly enough to avoid this pharmacy. I can't imagine a worse customer experience and so I'd suggest using literally any other pharmacy to fill your prescriptions, because there is no way they could be doing a worse job than CVS on Niblick. read more

If you were in CVS pharmacy on Niblick Rd in Paso Robles on Saturday February 18 in the morning you were exposed to COVID. The pharmacist insisted I come in and pick up my paxlovid, oral medication for covid. I asked if it could be delivered which I was happy to pay for or brought out to my vehicle and she said no we don't do that. I'm fully vaccinated and boosted but this variant is nasty. The pharmacist on duty (this was the Saturday after New Year's) became extremely agitated after I explained that there were issues with their system (not her) and she took it personal and began to yell at me telling me, at one point, to "shut up"; and even after I was beginning to leave she came back to the counter and yelled that she was "flagging me", and added that she had the authority to see that I never get medication from them again nor any pharmacy in the county. I was SHOCKED!! Keep in mind that this had nothing to do with any illegal activity "whatsoever" (which is the only reason any pharmacist has the authority to flag you)!! In my case, it was only because my Rx was not printed with a barcode on the bottom of the page. I called Monday morning to complain to her supervisor Sara, who did not help at all nor did she believe that her pharmacist acted inappropriately. At this point, I informed Sara that I was leaving CVS pharmacy and going to Rite Aid; her reply was, "it's probably best for you to go somewhere else." *** For the record, I have personally had several issues, and made complaints towards Sara (in the past), and I'm sure she would rather see me leave. It doesn't help that I have called in and talked to Sara, on several occasions, about her staff and their very bad customer service. *** In conclusion, for the last 10 years this CVS pharmacy staff has been the worst I've ever encountered!! CVS beats any convenience store by far they have all the things a convenience store would have but they also have an amazing supply of Cosmetics especially Brands like NYX and Revlon, plus anything that you could need that most convenience stores would and plus pharmaceuticals. I recently went to cvs to have my photos developed from my disposable camera. I had used this camera for all of my travel adventures and was super excited to get them back. After 6 weeks of calling to see if they were ready I began to loose hope. I had called for 3 weeks straight, every time I was told there was nothing to be done since I had lost my paper slip. This made me very irritated after a while because I was not informed how important this slip was that appeared to be a receipt. I had two different people tell me they would contact the company and get back to me, and never did. The reason I'm giving such a high rating is because of Jamie who showed me compassion when I was at my wits end. She followed through with her promise and ended up printing my photos HERSELF. I was so grateful that I found someone who cared. I can't thank her enough. I recommend to request her if you need something because everyone else seemed to care less about the job. read more

Great Staff. CVS Management ought to be charged with abuse. Abuse of their Staff by continuing to reduce their staffing levels so they are overworked and customers have long long waiting periods. They abuse their customers by not having adequate staffing so customers have to wait unreasonable times. Sometimes to find scripts are not ready as promised due to low staffing levels. They do this while creating larger profit margins at staff and customer expense. They buy out good pharmacies with loyal customers who are use to good customer service. Thanks CVS for ruining Target's pharmacy. It wasn't good enough for you to have a horrible pharmacy on your own? The pharmacy inside of Target in Paso Robles used to be amazing! I am in no way bashing the workers, as they are the ONLY good thing left in this department, they are the one's responsible for the one star. My prescriptions were always ready on time and I never expected any problems here...until CVS took over. My prescriptions are CONSISTENTLY never ready when you say they will be (average waiting time is 30-45 minutes AFTER they should have been ready) and there always seems to be a problem with new prescriptions. The workers are trying so hard to make everything right and please frustrated customers, but this is not their problem...it is YOUR system. Target's old pharmacy rewards program was great, I signed up for the CVS program with hopes that it MIGHT come close...and then my email and cell phone started to get spammed with emails (regarding sales at CVS and coupons ONLY for CVS stores) and annoying texts....EVEN THOUGH I OPTED OUT OF THEM CONTACTING ME. I am continuously appalled that CVS has yet to hire additional help behind the pharmacy counter. CVS screws up again! OK so there is still one prescription I have at CVS. I try not to do business there, but I got a call today that my prescription was ready. I waited in line and got the prescription. I got home with that five foot long receipt and found that I had picked up a prescription for an ointment haven't used for years, NOT THE ONE I NEEDED, and of course, it can't be returned. I am writing to say THANK YOU to your store manager in Paso Robles, CA. What a bright light in an otherwise frustrating and infuriating experience. This woman (Cindy) deserves a shout out from your company and a raise, bonus, pat on the back and definitely a promotion. She is the ONLY person between Paso Robles and the San Francisco Bay Area that was able to help me with that nightmare of an experience you call a CAREPASS. Cindy is in Paso Robles. My mom is 200 miles away. Cindy promised to follow up, called the Pleasanton Pharmacy, invited me down to the store, personally escorted me to her office, called the CAREPASS number herself, dealt with the wait time, endured the phone transfers from one department to another, listened to the irritating music on hold, personally helped me cancel my CAREPASS, and made sure my money was refunded before I left her store.....which is not even the store that has my mom's medications! NOW THAT IS FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. CINDY IS THE DEFINITION OF "CARE". I will be waiting to hear how you plan to recognize this loyal employee for her dedication to providing customer service that is rarely experienced! They charge different prices each time. I was in there last month for a med and they charged $41.00. Today...........$9.00. Different med last month $1.98, this month $3.98. Avoid! The pharmacy personnel are about as lazy as they come. We were standing in line waiting for an antibiotic order, and as nobody was in line in front of us and the 2 desk people ignored us and continued to talk about their own personal stuff and acted like they didn't see us. After my wife's request, they immediately had attitude towards us and made the experience very uncomfortable. Long lines, slow service. Called the pharmacy asked how soon they can fill a prescription for my sick child who is in pain. They say 30 minutes of course I was happy because 30 minutes wasn't bad. I traveled about an hour and half to the cvs since we were on a road trip. I get there and they say the pharmacist is out to lunch and it will be about another half hour are you kidding me!!! A store that sells cleaning supplies has no excuse for this level of neglect and grime. Check what's in the bottle is the same as what the printed prescription label states. This pharmacy has a history of incorrectly filling prescriptions. After a week of taking an incorrect prescription I had to tell them what was in the bottle was different than the correct prescription printed on the bottle. I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they always seem to have a really LONG, very SLOW line for pharmacy, and many times they cannot find my refills when I get there. would be nice if they would announce on the intercom that your prescription is ready when you are waiting to have it filled, instead of the customer trying to guess when its ready. I used the restroom during one visit first thing in the morning when the store opened, and it was a gross mess (vomit, etc). I mentioned it to the manager on duty, who was hanging out behind the photo counter, and even suggested that maybe the cleaning person missed it that day, and he said "Oh yeah, sometime the homeless use it", and just walked away. - no apology, no quick call to have someone clean it, nothing...really sad customer service, especially for a store manager. read more

Worst pharmacy!!! I had to get a prescription so I drop it off and verified that they had those medications because I need them today and I live 45 minutes from town. They said "yes, should be ready in 15." So I waited 15, waited in line they said "it will be ready in another 15." Okay so me and my dad went and eat lunch and got my car service else where. Came back 4 hours later thinking it would be done for sure... Still not ready told me it would be 15 mins. Again! I was extremely irritated by this point so I said but you for sure have this prescription right? When calling the pharmacy, I timed the wait time for one day, January 5, 2017. #1: 45 minutes - no answer #2: 35 minutes - no answer #3: 25 minutes - no answer You may think why did I keep trying?
