This location is convenient to my shopping path and it's great that it's located at a major intersection so I can swing by no matter where I'm coming from. The store is usually well maintained and stocked, and the staff has always helpful and pleasant. Bonus that they have a nice size parking lot! This location can be super busy, so you might have to wait in a link the line at either the pharmacy or checkout, but they're fairly efficient getting people through. read more

visited the drive up this morning 06/23 at 8am ish. I needed to pick up 2 new medications but, I had a change in insurance. let me also add that I normally do go inside for my medication but I happen to have a sleeping baby at the time. Why is it that every single time I go here the ladies who had out the meds have such a bad attitude?? This one lady in particular practically threw the medication at me and the receipt didn't once ask me sing she just put it on the drawer and slid it towards my car together with the meds and walks away. not once sing the paper or do you needs help with your new medication? Man, this is probably the worst CVS location in the Valley. I have been here many times, and it can either make me or break me as in attitude. Their photo machines are always breaking down. Its located in a shitty area part of town of Vineland and Victory. I am really surprised these guys are still in business. Service is good here sometimes. I drove past this location many times but never stopped to shop here till today since my regular CVS was closed due to power outage and this place was more convenient on the way back home. Big parking lot but very dirty, to a disgusting degree up to the entrance. No shopping baskets available, had to ask for one. Pretty dingy, dark inside, it could be cleaner. Between the poor selection, lack of almost everything in stock and my first time here, it made it for a pretty bad shopping experience. Wow this place is filthy outside. The walkways are in desperate need of some power washing, and there's litter everywhere. I've had positive experiences with the staff and pharmacists, but every time I come here it feels super gross. I avoid this place when I can. Hey CVS!! I was told by pharmacist Tagahi, that my medicine wasn't in stock and was not given any other alternative. I asked for further help and her response was, "What do you mean". I have a two fractures and a torn ligament and in extreme pain. It sucks that I also have to maneuver through horrible patient experience to get assistance. CVS do better with staffing! read more

This happened on 02/2021. I feel down a crevice and broke my wrist (unknown at the time) but I stopped by this CVS to buy a cloth sling until I could go to Urgent Care the next morning. Bought sling, walked out to put it on only to see an empty box. I immediately walked back in to let the cashier know and if I could just get another box. Nope. I was immediately accused of theft despite me paying, walking out, having the problem, and walking back in. All within 60 seconds mind you. So here is my story CVS! My second toe got an infection so o went to the ER after a week of pain and it not getting better in my opinion! Ok ....so they prescribe antibodies and pain meds (12 pills) for 3 days as my primary care couldn't get to until Monday. I started the antibodies and an abscess forms on my gum so I NOW DEVELOP an ear ache and a tooth ache! By monday my face is DEFORMED and THROBBING! My primary care prescribes MORE antibodies and enough pain meds for 5 days (20 more pills) so I can get to the dentist ! I have to wait for the infection to subside before My dentist of 30 years could work on the infected area ! Here is my problem the pharmacy is refusing to fill the prescription from my dentist! She said I have already had prescriptions and called my dentist to see if I was legit! FIRST OF ALL I dont take medicine like that...second we are talking NORCO 5/ 3.25 so the weakest pain meds out there and the only reason for those is because I have low kidney function and it cant do over the counter stuff. I have to have a root canal tomorrow and the pharmacy is telling me too get a new prescription AFTER the surgery! I DON'T UNDERSTAND! Why can't my meds be waiting for me when I get home? I am SUPER FRUSTRATED This is why black women don't smile I swear! I am a BLACK woman and I am TIRED of fighting to be heard ESPECIALLY when it comes to my health! Its like the assumption is that my REAL pain must be exaggerated! Like WHAT?! This is disturbing! I shouldn't have to sit on ANY pain if it is not necessary.Now when I snap or "go off" I AM A PROBLEM PATIENT?! You can visibly SEE that my face is swollen and infected. My daughter ordered pictures online to pick up @ cvs and when she gets there Emely told her the pictures got mixed up with someone else's!!! So ordering online was clearly Waste of time!!!! So She waited 20 mins more and they kept saying they still needed 8 more pictures. Get it together CVS! But the worse part is Emely told my daughter to wait to pay for her sunscreen LISTEN.... if my daughter wants to pay for sunscreen she doesn't need to wait for her pictures YOU CAN CHARGE her twice aka two separately transactions.. stop being LaZy!!!! This is my neighborhood pharmacy. I have waited in line for 30+ mins every time I use the drive-thru to pick up prescriptions. To add insult to injury, the women in the pharmacy are extremely rude and unprofessional. Their bias and racism bleed through their eyes and energy so heavily. They assume you can't pay a few dollars based upon how you look when in reality, you're making more money than them. Money aside, they should treat all customers equally. Outside of this issue, I get notifications stating my prescriptions are ready and then wait in the long lines mentioned to only be told the medication isn't in stock or they haven't actually filled it yet and I will need to return. Last night the woman in the photos told me my prescription wasn't covered and told me to call my insurance company. She never once told me about much the prescription cost was. She sent another woman to the window and then a man. The man finally told me that the prescription that was not ready was only $6. Can you imagine dealing with this ignorance regularly? Perhaps not my favorite CVS of the chain but it serves its purpose. It has plenty of parking, which is also convenient if you need to run over to the .99 cent only store. I would actually recommend you go there BEFORE a trip to CVS, you may be surprised with what you find. But anyway ... Upon entry, you may or may not see a security guard nearby. I'm not sure what determines whether they have them or not, but they're certainly NOT always there. Also at the entrance you'll notice a Citibank ATM as well as their circular and a "coupon center" which is supposed to print out you available coupons before you shop, however it's rarely working. Their makeup selection is decent but I've definitely visited other locations with ROWS of products. Same for their wine/drink section, it's pretty tiny and doesn't have a ton of options. The staff is usually pretty helpful, someone always readily available at the front desk (sometimes) with a smile. You're almost guaranteed to have a line though so don't come in expecting a quick in and out purchase. Haven't had any bad experiences with the pharmacy besides the occasional line. DO NOT go here looking for ethnic hair care, spend the extra 6 or so minutes in the car and go to Princess Beauty Supply or Sally's up the road. Boom. read more

During the call, the lady who helped me was extremely unprofessional and told me to call an 800 number when the email directed me to call the store. I am trying to find the sunblock my daughter has used for over 30 years. On-line, three CVS stores near me carry it, this being the closest. This store has sun block, but not the one I was looking for. The store clerk was very helpful, taking me to the various displays and then checking the inventory to confirm that the lotion should be in this CVS. However, the inventory is not labeled correctly and is wrong in the system. The lotion I need is actually not the lotion in the store. I will try the other two stores tomorrow. read more

I was passing by this CVS so I decided to drop in to get a few items for the medicine cabinet. Can you believe that I was only able to get one of three items on my list. The other two were completely out from the shelves. As I looked around, some of the shelved were a little bare. Did some people loot this place yesterday or what? So, I was in the store lip balm. It was slightly overpriced compared to Target across the street. Luckily it was a promo package, so it came was a cupcake flavored lip balm. $4.99 for 3 + 1 free cupcake flavored. I think it's usually $3-4 for the 3 pack. Any ways, no issues finding the lip balm myself, but it kind of annoyed me that Felicia the cashier was not in any mood to work that day. She waved me over with a face of disgust. Then as she is ringing me up, she complaining to her coworker about a customer and they are talking about how they can't wait to finish work and just get out of there. LOL. I get if you need to vent, but do it away from customers. CVS = Unprofession. It just tells me working at CVS is not a place any one wants to work. Great job, Larry Merlo. I HATE this place. I'm forced to go here because my insurance company forces me to use CVS for prescriptions. I will switch back to the other less hellish one on Hollywood Way after today. I've reached my limit with this dump. Without exception, I have suffered through inept staff, excruciatingly long lines at the pharmacy, filthy & unstocked store, etc. the list goes on & on. Tonight's final straw: after waiting over 2 hrs for Rx, they told me it would be "another 2 hrs if I waited at drive-thru or at least 20 min if I came inside", which means waiting in their filthy, over-crowded "waiting room". There was a mob of people waiting, 4 seats, 2-3 children running and screaming and throwing toys all over, the staff chit chatting with each other, as if there wasn't a mob standing there waiting and waiting and waiting. I was accused of stealing by the staff , I was checking out hotwheels since that was I usually go and today I grab a hotwheel since I have never seen the one but I didn't like the price so I put it back and as I was leaving the staff member asked me "did you put it back and I told her yea I didn't and she told me that they were checking the cameras and saw me grab stuff and I told her that she could on my backpack if she wanted to and that I collect hotwheels but I didn't took anything since I'm not a thief and she just said okay , I'm so disappointed on how she accused me and the security didn't said anything I told her that they could check the cameras if they didn't believe me. Normally, its good to come and work with pharmacy stuff. However, people like Meren or Merele( or whatever her name is I personally don't care) who don't like working with people should stay out of this job. Showing your attitude is definitely not the right profession you are in. I dropped off a Rx for my baby and later on before just popping up in the pharmacy, I made a call to make sure it's ready. They told me it's ready. I headed to the pharmacy. When I came, this whatever her name is, she was helping me. So rude, unprofessional, were not pleasant lady. When asked to please have them explain how to use my dads medication she said "read the instructions they are there". My dad doesn't understand English and he had already gone without me and they gave him shit when he was just trying to understand how to use his medication. He had to come pick me up and take me so I could ask for him and the instructions weren't the best so I told her to explain them so that I know I got it right and that was her response. How is it that it's ok for someone like that to work where people come for help? It's not the first time this happens I have problems with them all the time. Drive thru service is horrible. I've called to confirm my prescription was ready, and I was told to come back . It was super frustrating considering having a ear infection & cranky toddler ready for a nap. Another time I came in to buy one thing & use the restroom: AVOID IT. Worse than some gas stations. I really like to leave bad reviews so I contemplated on this. But every time I come back here it's an issue. I live right down the street so I'm in the area and it's convenient but I won't be returning. My first experience here was with the pharmacy. My toddle was sick and he has insurance. The pharmacist is made me pay for it because she was too lazy to run his insurance. I had to go home call his insurance and come back to get a refund because his insurance does cover his medicine like I told her to check from the beginning which mind you, she said she did check. I went back another time to print a photo. The two cashiers had me waiting for almost 30 minutes, didn't even bother to ask me if I've been helped or anything. Finally when I decided to ask if someone is going to help me, they tell me the photo machine isn't working. I went back another time last week in the morning, to print a different photo on a canvas. No one there knew what was going on, each employee called another employee for more help and they all still gave me the wrong information. I went again last night, to see if I can get help again. But of course, the wrist customer service. They still didn't know what was going on. They eventually gave me the 1800-shop-cvs phone number. But still!!! This is out of hand. This place needs to hire a new staff or re-train their staff now. It's absurd!! read more

The pharmacy has screwed up my order every time I have been there. That's 3 times! The first time I waited 2 hours for a prescription! The second time they couldn't fill it because they forgot to call my DR. Today I called and reminded them to call my DR because she was getting off in 30 mins... don't hear anything from the pharmacy.. I call them, and they put me on hold and hang up on me. I call back and they tell me they don't carry my prescription. Why couldn't you call me back and say that? Now my DR is out of the office and I can't get my prescription. I went to this shitty cvs at 12 pm because my mom is sick and I had drop of her prescription they told me to come back at 1:50 to 2 pm. I get their at 1:50 and they tell me it'll take 15 more minutes I wait by the corner and when they finally called me it took 30 fucking minutes and then I had to wait again because they forget the other one so I had to wait another 20 effing minutes!!! I go to this CVS often, since it is my neighborhood CVS, and it's actually pretty great compared to a few that I've been to. There isn't always a line when I come in, but when there is, it goes by really quick. As far as inventory, I've never had a problem finding whatever it is that I come in there to look for. I'm writing my review mostly because of a specific experience. I was in on Christmas Eve, and they were definitely busy. I came in to pick up a personalized ornament, but it turns out it wasn't in the system. The guy that was helping me was really nice, and he was looking everywhere for my ornament. And when he couldn't find it, the manager came in and really took all the boxes out one by one to look. I understand the chaos of the holidays, so I wasn't too upset at the mistake, just wanted to make sure that I get the ornament because it's for a yearly thing me and my boyfriend do, so it's tradition for us. Anyway, I ended up ordering a new one and came back an hour later to pick it up . They gave it to me for free because of the inconvenience and I am so thankful for that. Just wanted to write a review for the great customer service, regardless if I got the ornament for free or not, I am thankful for them taking their time to look for it in the midst of all the chaos! read more
