So helpful, so thoughtful, even when they are so busy. Mom and I appreciate this pharmacy more than they know.

The employees at this store are always moody and rude. I'd rather drive down the street to the CVS on Chesapeake and Little Creek.

My go to Walgreens for my prescriptions. Can be a little tricky to get to as well as the pharmacy…read moredrive thru not really being well suited for more than 2 cars. Pharmacy is usually very busy & I usually get put on hold via phone and drive thru. Not a fan of how my prescription brands are different most times, either, but I guess they do what they can. Pharmacist is kind though & once serviced, it only takes about 3-5 minutes tbh. Aside from that, the store is always clean and fully stocked/being stocked. Employees always greet me when I walk in. 3.5 rounded up to 4 stars.

By now I consider myself a super fan of Walgreens. I really love their pharmacy services and…read moreconsistent customer service. This location is only 6 months old and across from Town Center on the corner of Virginia Beach Blvd and Constitution Dr. I am shocked that it has taken me this long to visit the new Town Center Walgreens. I guess the biggest reason is I love my CXB store and staff. So on a day when I was in the area and looking for a specific ad item not in another location, so why not. From the outside you can tell that the design of this Walgreens is different. All brick and tall lines and fitting of the TC area. I assume the city had something to do with the design of the store, but I am unsure if true. There seems to be plenty of parking with overflow in the mall parking lot if necessary. There is a drive-thru pharmacy too. The lot, sidewalk and entry way were free of debris. When going in the store I was taken back and impressed by the updated design. Concrete floors, high ceilings that expose the steel beams and duct work. I really thought it was cool. However, the coolness did not stop there. The whole design of this Walgreens has a fresh contemporary look and I was really loving it! The place is not as huge as you might expect from the outside. They have all the areas most import to it's customers... pharmacy, photo and cosmetics. But inventory wise it is more a mid size location. I was greeted by Diana while coming in the door which is a Walgreens trademark. I learned that this is indeed a "special" place called a Walgreens Wellness store. What does that mean this mean to the customer. It is a focus on it customers wellness needs. The pharmacy has many services from immunizations, diabetes testing, cholesterol checks and blood pressure. All this is done in the privacy of a closed off room and it's very nice. Pharmacy tech Ruby took me for a a tour of the wellness room and provided me into about their services since this was my first time at this location. She was extremely helpful and invited me and family to come back. Also important is they process your insurance if covered for the wellness services. I came across another clerk on the floor named Peggy who was an older woman with gray hair. After talking a few minutes about how much I was enjoying the store she informed me of a ordering service on the web that I had no idea about. By going to walgreens.com and choosing this selected store (the only one in VB I believe) you can fill your cart with merchandise in the store, pay for it and have it all ready to pick up. Soon they will even have a curb side pick up. Peggy was so helpful and sweet to talk to. I found what I was looking for and it ended up not being in the ad and on sale. However, I love the delish line of nuts only carried by Walgreens and moved to the front counter. It was a little backed up and I was called over by Diane to cosmetics to check out which was helpful. Checkout was smooth and I was on my way. I was impressed with this updated Walgreens Wellness store. This is such a nice place to shop and quite the departure from the rest of the chain. The fact it is a Wellness store makes it that much more desirable. The staff was hitting on all cylinders today and the store is still smells new car fresh. I would recommend the TC Walgreens all day long and plan a return visit in the near future.

As far as getting a call back from CVS, I have left 4 in 4 days with no call back. I truly hate being treated that way. I left one star as there is no way to leave less than one star.

Male employee was friendly, confirmed Rx info and DOB before disappearing temporarily to retrieve the bag. "It's going to be $36." Say what? After sharing it was formerly ~$8, he calmly recruited help from another rockstar female team member (receipt says Molly). She confirmed script filled was a 90 day supply in addition to double-checking the insurance info was correct and it was billed appropriately; she also took the time to research what it would cost at other local pharmacies, in addition to what filling it with other public plans ("Good Rx") would total. "At $19, filling it at Costco would def save you nearly 50%." That's stellar customer service. Instead of leaving, I paid the higher price because her time/high level of empathy is not common! Thanks for the extra attention and consideration, not to mention patented mile long receipt!

Wesleyan and Diamond Springs…read more I have to say ever since they went away from the 24x7 format, Walgreen's service has gone downhill. Had my script go in Thursday am, 1 was ready that afternoon, the other was "In Process" finally, waited 1 day, hoping it would come in so I would have 1 trip. Nope, so forced to get the one I ran out of. They said computers down Friday, website still said "processing", I got desperate in pain, itching and I called Sunday, and it was still not ready and the pharmacist said it'll be ready Tuesday. I told the pharmacist, I have hives over 80% of my body and I need the meds, transfer the script somewhere else I can get it then. He relented and said it would be ready in1 hour. What kind of Fv*k3ry is this? This is not customer service, this is incompetence and served with zero empathy.

Tremendous job by all of them and especially that head Pharmacists.

Four hours later, I emerged like a survivor of a retail apocalypse--battle-scarred, dehydrated, and somehow holding a kayak, three candles that smell like sadness, and a family-sized bag of chips I didn't even want. The employees? I'm convinced they hold staff meetings in an underground bunker where the theme is "Hide and Seek: Advanced Edition." I asked one guy where the lightbulbs were and he pointed upward and said, "We got some in the ceiling," then disappeared like a retail ninja. The aisles are a maze designed by someone who hates humanity. I swear I passed the same crying baby, the same man debating toothpaste brands, and the same giant inflatable holiday decoration at least six times. I'm pretty sure I aged 3-5 years in there. Self-checkout? Absolute chaos. I scanned one item and the machine screamed at me like I was smuggling diamonds. Then it demanded "an attendant" who, of course, was nowhere to be found--probably in the bunker. By the time I checked out, the sun had set, the seasons had changed, and I questioned everything I ever believed in. I entered a customer; I left a philosopher. One star. For being open. That's it.
