Evidently, the app won't let you change stores on a current Rx. The only way to change stores is to "leave a message" and get a call back from them or drive to the store you need - and then make another trip to the store when the order is ready. Sunday bike ride to pickup Rx. Drive thru was slammed so I used the convenient bike lock station and stroller inside. Male employee was friendly, confirmed Rx info and DOB before disappearing temporarily to retrieve the bag. "It's going to be $36." Say what? After sharing it was formerly ~$8, he calmly recruited help from another rockstar female team member (receipt says Molly). She confirmed script filled was a 90 day supply in addition to double-checking the insurance info was correct and it was billed appropriately; she also took the time to research what it would cost at other local pharmacies, in addition to what filling it with other public plans ("Good Rx") would total. "At $19, filling it at Costco would def save you nearly 50%." That's stellar customer service. Instead of leaving, I paid the higher price because her time/high level of empathy is not common! Can I give 0 stars?? I have called that store four times over the past two days. After being on hold for at least 10 minutes, a recording comes on to leave a message and if additional information is needed, the pharmacy will return the call in an hour. I left a message yesterday and one five hours ago. If I didn't live in Hampton, I'd go over to the store. I'm so glad the medication isn't needed to save my life! Then I read the reviews left here and realize my review is just another added to a long line of unsatisfactory reviews! read more

With Rite Aid closing they transferred our prescriptions to CVS on 3200 Lafayette Blvd in Norfolk, VA. Rite Aid was okay to deal with but soon lacked the quality service towards the end. Dealing with CVS was a nightmare. It started on August 2nd with trying to get a prescription filled for my wife. There were refills remaining on her Levothyroxine 50mcg prescription. CVS said the prescription would be filled that afternoon. I went there to pick it up and it was not filled. They said it would be ready on August 3rd. I went there to pick it up and again it was not ready. I went to CVS the morning of August 4th, it was not filled and the clerk said they would "Expedite" filling the prescription. Meanwhile my wife was totally out of the required medicine. On August 5th, I went there around 2:00pm and they said the medicine was out of stock and it might be available around 5:00pm. Well again it was not available. It was then I decided to go somewhere else. I will never deal with CVS ever again. read more

They used to be terrible but have definitely revamped the place! There are still a few inventory carts hanging around but at least the shelves are fully stocked, if not they'll check the system for you and let you know when the item is due to be in stock. My only complaint is that they only have two tampons... like, you have a choice of A or B and that is it. Not two brands, just regular and super. I have been in multiple times over the last few months, still only two. I think the store must be run by a man. Other than that they're great and well stocked! read more

CVS as a company has public restroom. However at this location we asked a lady for the key to restroom and she frustrated sent us to the front. When someone came the first question was "Are you waiting for prescription?" Then when we explained we just needed to use restroom she answered w/ attitude "Do you have prescription?" "Only prescription customers can use restroom!" We even suggested buying a product no problem. Still rudely said "No! Not 24hrs. Why is this listed? Used to be. Is not now. After covid the hours for everywhere changed. There isn't a NOTHING open in hampton roads 24 hours. Smh. The CVS on Hampton Blvd pharmacy has really gone downhill. Their are long lines of people waiting to pick up prescriptions. I had to wait almost ten days for an inhaler for asthma. I called several times. One of the pharmacists told me that the website information is inaccurate. Another told me that my prescription would be ready the next day. When I went to pick it up, the pharmacist told me that it was still being processed. When I said that I didn't think my health needs were being met, he told me not to complain. Then he looked under the counter and my prescription was there. Management really needs to look into what is going on with this pharmacy. I have been going here for years, but if I have one more experience like this, I am moving all of my prescriptions somewhere else. read more

I don't want to give the drive up pharmacy any stars! They are terrible. Every attendant either had an attitude or no customer service experience. They close earlier than what's listed, they never have prescriptions ready when they say the will. It's piss poor performance. It's sad. read more

The Little Creek CVS is very quick if you go inside and get your prescriptions, they know how to keep it moving. The drive thru is always busy, so you don't know where you will get stuck in line, at least it's open. NOTE: Never use the Lafayette location again this is the worst Pharmacy in the area and should be closed. read more

Not just 1 but 2 prescriptions were over 20 pills short. I called immediately and was told I'd have to wait for the pharmacists to count out their supply and get back to me. The next morning I was told it wasn't their issue and to start counting my medication before I leave the store. Unfortunately my HMO only approves CVS so I'm stuck with them but I will now be going to the inside pharmacy and counting each and every prescription very slowly and carefully to make sure the pharmacist gets it together and maybe double checks his counting from now on. My apologies in advance to anyone stuck in line behind me waiting while I count out every script. Thank your pharmacist. read more

They're so friendly but why do I have to consistently wait over 30 minutes for a prescription that is supposed to already be ready for pick up? It's always packed! Thought moving from Walmart to CVS was the right idea, clearly I was wrong. Update: ouch. Since I've been here 4 people have gone to the counter to complain about the long wait times. This place is absolutely horrible. I came a week ago for my script and they didn't have the medication in stock despite notifying me via text that it was ready for pick up. I was turned away and told to come back sometime after thursday when they get it shipped to them. I got another text saying it was ready for pick up. Now they are saying my script is inactive and i'll have to wait until they hear from my doctor. I've now been without my medication for over a week. The pharmacist (i think it's a sub, but not sure. short, wide, white dude) was disrespectful and wouldn't allow me to speak and just walked away from me without explaining why my medication wasn't able to be filled. This was after waiting in line for 45 minutes. I even called ahead of time, twice, to be sure everything was ready and no one answered. I was on hold for 25 minutes and then hung up because i knew it was pointless. I will be switching pharmacies asap. This is not the first time this has happened. Do not waste your time. Only silver lining was the kind, apologetic pharmacy tech that helped me tonight. They rest of them are clowns. read more

Pharmacy: Not quick, never easy if you take maint meds. They excel in picking low hanging fruit, but if any effort is required, forget it. This previously 24hr store was caught lying to patients with controlled substance scripts like me, with advanced arthritis. I would arrive at 5am on day 30 of my 30 day supply and request a refill. I was told the med was out of stock? Multiples we're out of stock simultaneously??? Then at 7am I would get a text at work and the Rx magically was ready for pickup?? I sure as hell did not sign up to be lied to. There is a big difference between a Business Policy and the Code of Virginia. Only a handful care and stick around. The others are not marginal, and it seems the bench warmers all work the same shift. I remember when they had a modecum of empathy, would not have walked out on patients. We could trust them, and rely on their integrity. Now that trust is a faulty App, probably a execs kid was thrown a bone. It's a cluster F, and the minute clinic thing crashed and burned because nobody wants to talk to an RN or LPN in a white stall, no privacy, HIPPA suit anyone? It's degrading for both. I also thought it was telling that the never maintain the buildings exterior, and rather than clean, they refit the store on the regular. But you get to know neighbors like speed dating while in the long line. And statistically that kind of exposure to a conservative 20% who have COVID or one of many flu strains. This store needs to have a retail pharmacy where they will at minimum ANSWER THE PHONE. read more

*WARNING* This review is solely based off of my experience with CVS Pharmacy. I haven't wrotea review yet through my Yelp account, but an earlier conversation I had with my friend and my experience I just had here prompted this review to become my first. Enough with the rambling. I came to this location to pick up my prescription since it is conveniently closer to my residence. My boyfriend dropped off the prescription at 11:30 am,was notified that it would be completed at 12:30 pm, and they would call for me to pick it up. By 6pm I never received a call, but wasn't too annoyed amd decided to just get it anyway. Everything appears neat and organized around the entrance. Also, I was greeted by a nice young lady at the front register. When I arrived to the Pharmacy counter, all I can say is that I felt gradually uncomfortable as the techs behind the counter stared at me awkwardly. Finally after a few moments passed a young woman came to ask for my name. It took at least ten attempts for her to correctly hear and spell my name correctly. Seeing as though my name is literally three letters long, I didn't think she would get lost finding it in the system for quite some time. Once she found it it took another 5-10 minutes to process my insurance info. I was handed my medicine and went my way. HOWEVER, I have weird habits including checking that all of my medicine matched up to the order form and prescription info. When I counted my medicine I noticed that the quantity was less than half of what was supposed to be in it. Afterwards I immediately went back to hopefully receive the full quantity since I paid for a full order. As soon as I walked up the stares intensified again from the same people. They continuously made excuses and different reasons as to why my medication was incorrectly. After it was filled correctly, I received an apology that was far from genuine. Needless to say, I would rather take my prescriptions elsewhere for now on. Hopefully I'm being too dramatic but the entire experience could've been handled better. read more

Love the associates at this store!! Only issue I have is that sometimes the shelves seem so bare and the item I want is completely gone, sometimes it's even gone the same day the sale started. I just don't understand why the shelves are not always stocked and why if an item is going on sale are more not ordered for the costumers. read more

I was greeted pleasantly by a cashier Michael I told him what I was looking for and he with a smile said let me show you what we have and go from there. He was able to help with what different things I could use and for the CVS brand which was on sale post to trying to get me to buy the expensive Brand. I went in to this CVS drugstore (where I have been going for 5 years) and the mean rude manager, Rick waited on me. All I did was stick my credit card in the machine, and Rick makes the remark that " I needed to push the buttons" ....when I asked him why the machine had done NOTHING? - he whips the machine around and looks, like I am a moron, and starts to complain that LOL I DID SOMETHING TO THE MACHINE!!!!!!! Then he calls someone, and goes to the next machine," it doesn't work" he saids complaining to me, like it was my fault, and he states, "now the other machine caused this one not to work". OMG LOL.. Then another employee who was waiting behind me, runs over to the third register which was just opening, and I had to wait behind her, while her daughter came running up and threw a couple of more items on the counter. The manager didn't tell his employee to ring me up first. Also, someone came over to register #2 two while I was waiting and the register could work and give her a price. Basically register#@ really worked and the manager didn't want to wait on me. He NEVER KEYED IN ANYTHING, just had me put my card in and said it didn't work. A total liar!!!!~! Also, when I handed him my bill to pay, I very nicely told him to scan the back, in case he hadn't seen this before. ( In the past I had to explain this every time I went into the store to pay silver script). He remarked, "I know how to do this" very mean tone. I just asked for the manager when I called the store to complain and he mumbled and never apologized so I just hung up and said I was calling corporate. I knew he had to be the manager, because he was so arrogant in his bad behavior. I am never coming back here, and already left the prescription department for wal greens, because their service was so slow, and no one appeared to ever want to wait on you in the back or the drive thru.
