Pound puppies!
Alycia A.

It's been a year since I've reviewed, I still love this pharmacy just as much! Staff is mostly very friendly and we love getting food to go at the grill inside. Today we had the breakfast-eggs, bacon, potatoes and my toddler had the French toast! Delicious as always. They always have their specials posted and they always seem to have fresh cake slices available. I can't say enough how I love the kids/toy aisle! They have toys from when I was a kid, my toddler loves them all and we never leave without buying something! They also have new types of toys as well as puzzles and some large item educational toys. I was surprised to see they had the original pound puppies for sale today! Right now they have a lot of beautiful Christmas items for sale, we love looking at all of the festive stuff and of course we stopped to see the Christmas bouquets. I absolutely love the flower shop inside this pharmacy, you will not be disappointed with the fresh flower arrangements they have.

I normally come here to get my prescriptions filled and this past week was business as usual but I decided to change things up a bit. While most of my prescriptions were already sent over by my doctor's office, I had a few that I needed to hand deliver to be filled. Not sure how most pharmacies work, but certain restricted meds need signatures and proof of identity before the pharmacist fills it. The pharmacist here are super knowledgeable and on point. And a few are cute too!!! The staff up front tend to be on point too...very laid back, sometimes too laid back but they get the job done. I had to wait for about 20 mins for my hand delivered prescriptions to be filled. I was a bit hungry so I decided to see what healthy options the Creek Grill had to offer. This small diner is located inside the pharmacy. The Grill usually stays busy and Friday afternoon was no different. They advertised a few specials on an easel in front of the diner and the prices were just right. A garden salad and a drink (one of the specials) only $3.50. Cool!! I ordered a garden salad minus the tomatoes, onions, and green peppers and asked that they add grilled chicken. My meal came up to $6.50 I believe. It was a decent size salad and the grilled chicken was cooked to order. I waited for my food at the bar top. Here you can see pretty much everything up close, except the back kitchen. But up front are the fryers, fixing stations and the grill. I did notice a few unsanitary utohs... and even mentioned to the cook to cover up two pasta salads that were left wide open...euuu!! Well aside from that, they have amazing ice!!! The crush ice that's easy to crunch... ice chips you can munch on all day long! Yeah, seating is decent here. There is bartop seating and booth seating that'll accommodate about 25. Lottery, greeting cards, novelty items, candy, etc are sold here. It's a family owned store so some items are pricey then you have some candies that are "back in the day" priced. It's a cute pharmacy located amongst eateries, shopping and by shops such as 7 eleven and beauty stores. If you're looking for a local, family friendly pharmacy I wholeheartedly recommend you try here! Enjoy | Have fun :)

The food at The Creek Grill is great and the staff is equally as friendly and professional as the pharmacy counter.

If I could leave 0 stars, I absolutely would…read more Yesterday's pharmacy experience was so unbelievably bad that I'm still wondering when pharmacists started earning medical degrees without telling the rest of us. Apparently, the pharmacist on duty decided she knew what was "best" for me and took it upon herself to short my prescription instead of simply filling it correctly. Good to know my doctor's instructions are apparently just optional suggestions now. For context: people don't usually take medication because it's a fun hobby. Some of us actually depend on it to function and, you know, stay alive. So thank you for turning a routine prescription pickup into a stressful scavenger hunt where I had to go elsewhere just to get the medication prescribed to me in full. The professionalism and customer service were honestly shocking. Nothing says "we care" quite like acting dismissive toward someone whose health depends on their medication. At this point, I'd probably have an easier time shopping for a casket than refilling prescriptions here. Needless to say, you've lost a loyal customer. I sincerely hope the customer service improves before someone else has to go through the same experience. Have a wonderful rest of your day.

I'm currently sitting in line @ 9:15, been sitting here since 8:55 for my pain medication they couldn't give me yesterday. They told me it was refilled at 11am and I went to pick it up at 4pm.. not even started... Which they also told me they open at 9am and to come back. They are completely out of the other medicine I need too. This not the first time I've dealt with that either. So if you pick this location as your pharmacy you will be F***** every chance given..

They cradled me and made sure my medications are filled an always on time. They call you, they check and make sure you want to fill them at the same time, they educate you on your medications and possible side effects and interactions. Plus, sometimes? A shortage may be occurring on a particular medication and they will warn you so you can look for it somewhere else until they can get it in. You can feel love here. I was done with "big box pharmacies.!" I was tired of standing in line for hours or sitting out in my car for 45-minutes at a time to just pickup my medications. I was tired of coming home and my medication count being off! This "beautiful and caring group of people walk the last mile with you." It is business the way pharmacies should be." Thank you, DK (owner), John- Pharmacist, Shayna- Pharmacist, Mike- Pharmacy Technician and Aliyah- Pharmacy Technician. I appreciate everything you do for me! The other thing worth gold is: " walking in and out and NO long lines or hassles." Blessings, Celia Herron

The staff and pharmacists are absolutely amazing after several visits they were calling me by my name when I arrived, they notify me when they receive my script, it's always ready on time and they always have what we need in stock and even if they don't you won't wait long. I recently had some dental work done and was over by their office, I stopped in just to see if they would fill it before driving home, they had just received the prescription but told me to wait 10 minutes and filled it immediately. If you are tired of dealing with the big box pharmacies which are getting harder and harder to find and deal with, you MUST give them a try you won't be disappointed. Thank you for the wonderful service you provide. Steve K.

My boss highly recommended Irwin's and I was soooo confused initially ("you're sending me to a pharmacy for food?" haha). I looked it up and made a to-go order. I ordered the philly cheesesteak with a side of ranch. I walked in and the whole place is a vibe. Even the customers in line with me were smiling and friendly. The staff was great and welcoming. The prices are soooo much better than any of the other local places I've tried. My cheesesteak was awesome- tasty and a good size. If I had a longer lunch break I'd dine-in because the place is this adorable diner-style place and clearly has a solid history in the community. The only downside to this is that now I have to admit to my boss that he was right about something (just kidding). Anyways, check it out!

I had plenty of pennies but nope, they round up no matter what. I don't think that is very fair business. Others I have gone to knock the price down to the lowest non penny denominator. They do have a very nice "fountain" with delicious limeade and some cool items for those who want to shop there. UPDATE!!! Randi from Irwin's actually called me moments after I posted the review. She explained they did in fact round up when they should have rounded down. Therefore I have changed my stars and am very impressed that they called asap and offered to reimburse the change. Thank you Irwin's.

I've never had a good experience here but I haven't had a bad enough to leave a review until today. My husband had a prescription sent over from telehealth on Sunday. He called first thing this morning to ensure it was received. It was an antibiotic and steroid that needed to be started ASAP. He was advised that they received over 55 prescriptions so understandably they couldn't give him a time of when it would be completed. However, he called again around 1pm to check on it. He was advised it had been filled and was ready for pick up. They have a CB lunch break from 1:30-2pm so around 2:15pm I waited in the drive thru line for about 20min with 3 hungry kids to pick it up. When I arrived at the window I was advised it wasn't filled and to go wait in the parking lot or swing back around (even though no one was behind me) and wait another 15min while they fill it. I asked why we were told it was ready and I was met with a short tone simply saying "he wasn't" I was irritated and asked if it would really take 15min... the response was that I needed to move along and go wait somewhere else for 15min and no one told us it was ready. I took the kids home and then went back to get the prescription. I waited for a couple cars. One took 15min at the window (I did time it, so I'm assuming they refused to wait elsewhere) the other car was just 2 min. I was able to get the prescription on my second visit. Although I was able to get what I needed this time, the interaction was short and definitely did not leave me with a desire to return. We've found another pharmacy to try for our prescriptions going forward, I don't mind driving farther for better service.
