This is the Worst in the Deep creek Area. I had problems there years ago and the same Pharmacist that worked there at that time and she is still there. She decided to call me to say they didn't want my profile because of the medicines that I take. She thinks she is the DEA if you're getting pain medications there be aware that she is a person that thinks if you take pain medications you are a criminal. She tore my prescription up in front of me. No Pharmacist should be able to tell you or your Doctor what kind of Medicine a person should be taking. I take a lot of medicine due to having a lot of surgeries. I feel like if you don't want my profile for prescription the store doesn't need my business. read more

I had some medication filled here and had no idea it even existed. My particular medication needed to be made there. I was very impressed with their customer service on the phone. I called several times over the course of 3 days to confirm my prescription and I could tell they were super busy. The lady was very courteous. When I got there to pick up the medicine I could see how busy they really were. They still were very efficient. Great place to go for your medicines and just anything really. read more

The Creek Grill has a very Homey Atmosphere combined with a courteous and professional team that I have found to be a cut above the average with from my observation a combination of service attitude and a "Team Spirit attitude" together with the Coach, Crew Chief, on scene Supervisor they serve excellent food for the eat in or take out and I must say that once you've got the experienced the service you will return just like I did. It's been a year since I've reviewed, I still love this pharmacy just as much! Staff is mostly very friendly and we love getting food to go at the grill inside. Today we had the breakfast-eggs, bacon, potatoes and my toddler had the French toast! Delicious as always. They always have their specials posted and they always seem to have fresh cake slices available. I can't say enough how I love the kids/toy aisle! They have toys from when I was a kid, my toddler loves them all and we never leave without buying something! They also have new types of toys as well as puzzles and some large item educational toys. I was surprised to see they had the original pound puppies for sale today! Right now they have a lot of beautiful Christmas items for sale, we love looking at all of the festive stuff and of course we stopped to see the Christmas bouquets. I absolutely love the flower shop inside this pharmacy, you will not be disappointed with the fresh flower arrangements they have. read more

Beware of Lawrence Pharmacy. They refilled a compound gargle clack's prescription for me that burned my mouth so bad I couldn't gargle but immediately spit it out. The next morning my teeth hurt. I took it back to the owner the next day and he was rude and uncustomer oriented. I told him what happened and he said we made it the same way we alwaysdo. I gave him the bottle. He said we can't make it over for it has been more than 30 days. I used up the old bottle and put new one in refrigerator is why it was older than 30 days. I called in the last refill one day before it expired to prolong doctor's visit for new prescription. read more

Started calling 3 days ago to follow up on my prescription, spoke to a different person each time. Day 1 person , we don't have it , call your doctor, so I did, doctor says we already sent it , we will send again , called later that day , spoke to someone else , yes we have it , we'll call you when it's ready for pick up. Day 2 , the next person says we have it but it's not ready , did you want to pay ahead by phone , sure so I gave my card and money was taken from my account immediately and again they tell me they will call when it's ready, waited no call and its Friday so I call again Friday night no it's not ready yet but we will give you a call once it is (Again!!). So, I wake up, and call back Saturday morning thinking surely it's ready now , it's been 3 days and person # 3 says nope it's not ready and the person / people who put together the compound for your prescription won't be in until Monday, I said so you took my money and I won't even get my prescription for another 2 possibly 3 days , she says yes that's how we do it for these types of things, which isn't totally true because this isn't the first time I have had this filled here and I usually pick it up since I live in the same city as this pharmacy so I've never paid ahead of time before I just thought maybe it would save some time and get it made quicker, boy wasn't that a joke. Now at this point because I was out of my medication when it was called in I guess I will be without it for over a week thanks to their lack of urgency and concern to fill it for me. Up until today I have been completely understanding and calm that I am not their only customer and things happen but at this point there is just no excuse, especially after taking my money this is just bad business to me, honestly if I didn't have to I would not be dealing with this pharmacy anymore but unfortunately this is the only place my doctor has this prescription filled at this time. read more

I normally come here to get my prescriptions filled and this past week was business as usual but I decided to change things up a bit. While most of my prescriptions were already sent over by my doctor's office, I had a few that I needed to hand deliver to be filled. Not sure how most pharmacies work, but certain restricted meds need signatures and proof of identity before the pharmacist fills it. The pharmacist here are super knowledgeable and on point. And a few are cute too!!! The staff up front tend to be on point too...very laid back, sometimes too laid back but they get the job done. I had to wait for about 20 mins for my hand delivered prescriptions to be filled. I was a bit hungry so I decided to see what healthy options the Creek Grill had to offer. This small diner is located inside the pharmacy. The Grill usually stays busy and Friday afternoon was no different. They advertised a few specials on an easel in front of the diner and the prices were just right. A garden salad and a drink (one of the specials) only $3.50. Cool!! I ordered a garden salad minus the tomatoes, onions, and green peppers and asked that they add grilled chicken. My meal came up to $6.50 I believe. It was a decent size salad and the grilled chicken was cooked to order. I waited for my food at the bar top. Here you can see pretty much everything up close, except the back kitchen. But up front are the fryers, fixing stations and the grill. I did notice a few unsanitary utohs... and even mentioned to the cook to cover up two pasta salads that were left wide open...euuu!! Well aside from that, they have amazing ice!!! The crush ice that's easy to crunch... ice chips you can munch on all day long! Yeah, seating is decent here. There is bartop seating and booth seating that'll accommodate about 25. Lottery, greeting cards, novelty items, candy, etc are sold here. It's a family owned store so some items are pricey then you have some candies that are "back in the day" priced. It's a cute pharmacy located amongst eateries, shopping and by shops such as 7 eleven and beauty stores. This is a locally owned and operated pharmacy. This pharmacy cares about its customers. They act as your advocate with your doctors. They call to clarify dosage instructions, generic vs brand name requirements to save you money, and they ask you if you understand the side effects then they start to explain them to you if you have the patience to listen (while I was there one customer was very rude and said "just give me my drugs.") His loss but I listened and asked questions. The pharmacist seemed happy to talk to all of us. There is a great drive through window if you are on the run. Call your meds in and drive to the window for a quick pick up. Hey! They have a diner inside this pharmacy and the food is good. The service is excellent. There is a great florist there too. I purchased a little bouquet for myself, why not. Flowers and pills go together for a complete happy experience. Natural, Homeopathic, and old-fashioned remedies are on the shelves right beside the modern brands. Do you remember taking the teaspoon of cod liver oil with the change of every season to "clean you out." It is there beside the laxatives. So you can prevent constipation or relieve constipation - your choice. Stop in and check out the family pharmacy with a modern business look. They have a dollar store aisle. Pick up some scouring pads while you are there. Need a Hallmark card to cheer a friend up, they have a card aisle just as extensive as Walgreen's. I just moved to the area from Chapel Hill, NC. to a senior living facility in Chesapeake. My medical team linked me up to Lawrence Pharmacy for some initial prescriptions for delivery which occurred quickly and efficiently. Since then I have contacted them for other prescriptions and items I have needed such as disability tools/aids, milk, water etc. All have been delivered in good order to my door by friendly, Kenny, with a smile. When I call the pharmacy they answer promptly, and are patiently helpful in assisting me with my order. I rarely write reviews but, didn't want to miss this opportunity to highly recommend this pharmacy in taking care of my prescriptions and other items. read more

We love the Creek Grill at Lawrence Pharmacy! Great food and great service! It's like going back in time, sitting at a lunch counter at a drug store and ordering delicious milkshakes that are hand made and come with the sidecar. They offer typical diner fare like burgers, chicken tenders, fries, barbecue, and banana splits. My kids have a blast sitting on stools at the counter. The prices are reasonable and it's clean. I love this pharmacy! Every single person who works there is friendly and helpful. Today I went in to pick up a prescription for my wife. It was considerably busier than usual and apparently their computers were down. Still, the ladies behind the counter were friendly, professional, and helpful and, despite the computers being down and the higher than usual number of customers, I didn't have to wait any longer than I usually do. I was in and out in about five minutes. The food at The Creek Grill is great and the staff is equally as friendly and professional as the pharmacy counter. I have noticed a couple of reviews on here in regards to the lady at the lottery counter being "rude" and "racist". I take exception to this. I have been going to Lawrence Pharmacy for 21 years now and I have observed that lady helping customers of every race, every religion, and every sexual orientation known to man. Not once have I ever witnessed her treating anyone with anything but the utmost respect. I firmly believe that if you feel you were mistreated by that lady, you might want to do some soul searching and ask yourself if you treat people with respect and could your behavior be the reason for it. I would also like to mention one instance of going way above and beyond the call of duty. Last winter, there was a pretty bad snowstorm that shut down pretty much everything in the area, including Lawrence Pharmacy. I, unfortunately, had forgotten to purchase water before the storm so I had to walk to find a place that was open and had some. I had no luck until I happened to walk to Lawrence Pharmacy. It was closed, but the owner was outside shoveling his parking lot. That man was kind enough to open up for me and sell me enough water to get me through the next couple of days. I have been going here for years. There are many employees. While I do not get that many prescriptions, I enjoy the lunch counter and the lotto tickets. There is a very good selection of cards, many time half priced. There are other gifts in the floral shop, and most any over the counter medicines. On racism issue, you would have to be a racist to find these people racist. All persons have their better days and their worst. read more

This is a wonderful "hidden secret" in Deep Creek. The store is neat with a lot of fun little things to look at while you wait, if you have to wait at all. And you can find unexpected things there too, like herbal remedies. The pharmacy is wonderful. Gary is one of the owners, and the chief Pharmacist. You can frequently see him making sure things are good around the store, and he is always willing to talk with you. They are fast, efficient , and if they don't have all of an order, they will be happy to special order it and get it for the next day. They always stop, no matter how busy they are (which is often - a good thing from my perspective), and answer any questions or concerns you have. They have a special section for diabetics and for disability supplies, a lovely florist, and a tasty grill as well. You can buy lottery tickets, scratchers, and postage stamps, they always have a discount section to browse through and lots of candy to choose from for those impulse purchases. Finally, they are a certified Pride Lift Chair dealer. Like Lazy Boys, these chairs assist people in getting up and down, and my mother in law (unfortunately) lives in hers. What sets Pride Life apart however are the warranties (5 years for the motor and 10 for the cloth we chose) and Chris, the pharmacist who manages that unit. The MIL frequently breaks her controller cord and Christ always has one we can borrow until the replacement gets there. It's a really good product. Bottom line - Ignore those other pharmacies if you are close. This is the only one you need. read more
