Although the prices tend to be high CVS is in the business of printing coupons if you give them your phone number and a name. The last time I was there I bought fur rolls of unbleached, recycled toilet paper for $4.99, got a $4 off coupon, then immediately bought another one for .99 cents. Good deal. I made a return and it went smoothly without a receipt. A screwdriver was the wrong size and I think they had a record of it because I typed in my phone number when I bought it. Since I declined a printed and emailed receipt I wasn't sure how they'd handle it. It was no problem though and no questions were asked except for my phone number. I like their organic pistachios, but after I bought a bag on sale they ran out and haven't gotten them back in. The restroom is clean and most of the employees are friendly, helpful and respectful.

So cue insurance issue when this one tried to fill it. I called the next day and explained to the pharmacist who promptly pulled it from the other one - cancelled it - and filled it so I could get both at one spot and not drive all over. She had it ready quickly and was super nice about it. I stopped in that evening after work and, while traffic and construction was bad, once that was all navigated and I got to the drive through, it moved super quickly and the agent at the window was friendly and efficient. He updated my new address for me bc, even though I did it online, the script was wrong. Great first impression. I haven't been inside and I know pharmacies aren't perfect. But I'm usually fairly impressed with Walgreens over their competitors.

The machine is managed by Pursuant Health. You can login as a member at no cost, or a guest. It' has more functionality than checking blood pressure such as sleep apnea risk, diabetes risk and even a risk assessment on lifestyle choices.Heck one assessment said I was a few years younger than I actually am so I love that! These type of machines have been around for decades, but they have evolved into a more sophisticated tool for customers. What did not work was weight measurement. It was way off. I would recommend Walmart Pharmacy for the BP and health assessment alone, but of course they offer much more and at fantastic prices. If you're interested in a home device to measure BP they have over six models. I'm sure I will be back.

I was told I needed to show ID in order to return, it was a doordash order. I said "ok ill be back in 5 minutes. I grab the item and receipt and started to walk out the door. I hear her YELL "YOU'RE WELCOME" as i'm walking out. As if she is TELLING me I should have thanked her. For what yet, I wasn't sure. An inconvenience? I returned to the store a few minutes later and was helped by Carolyn, who was wonderful, and the store manager. The entire time the manager was assisting me, she (Pam) was mumbling under her breath that what I was saying was wrong. It was just very rude. I was sure to thank them after my return was complete. But never in my life have I had someone in retail treat me like a child that did not say thank you.

And then when I went to check out I couldn't find anyone at the front so I walked to the side register and there was Mary. She checked me out and was so friendly and kind and efficient. I hope Walgreens is treating her well because someone is going to want to steal her. Absolutely perfect customer service experience. The rest of the store is well stocked and clean. They have a parking lot which is very nice and centrally located on 24th street. And because they are at the oceanfront they have items you might not see at other Walgreens. One stop shopping.

It pays to be a loyalty member as with all grocery stores and prices are reasonable given it is the beach. Decent selection of beer and wine. They are busy most of the times I've visited and given the location can tend to run out of some items (i.e. deli, seltzer, ice cream).
