I love the people and the service here. The pharmacist (a wonderful asian lady) is so cool and the staff is always helpful and attentive with insurance issues. I came in for a walk-in COVID shot in the afternoon and they advised me that all appointments were taken but if I cashed back in evening, they might have one from a cancellation. If they draw the become from the vial, they have to use it in a certain timeframe and if it doesn't get used, they have to throw it out. When I called later in the evening they luckily had a cancellation to and within five minutes I ran over for the shot and flu shot also. Although this place is CVS, they really treat you like a smaller pharmacy. Great experience. read more

CVS has chosen to use a horrible automated phone system! This phone system makes it impossible to get clear information and the system is "rude." Artificial Intelligence (AI) at its worst! I called to ask for the names and status of any new prescriptions. No clear information provided. When I asked to speak to a human being this phone system said a couple of times "I cannot hear you." Seriously!! This is both funny and sad. Sadly CVS management has removed the human element from phone calls. When I go in person to the pharmacy the people working there are helpful. I have used CVS as my pharmacy for years, but with CVS employing this terrible phone system that soon may change. read more

This review is solely about Shirley. She is downright mean and condescending to me. She always has such a terrible attitude, not only to me, but to everyone she supposedly "helps". We have had nothing but problems with the CVS on South Reino, 91320. The most recent issue is not being able to speak with a Human representative about prescriptions. If you call this store all calls are automated. None of the options I am given apply to what is needed. The lack of Human interactions is extremely frustrating. I also attempted to contact the corporate office to file a complaint. Well guess what, same story, no human representatives available. So..... as of today, all prescriptions are being moved to Burt's Pharmacy. I gave them 1 star because you cannot post without a rating. Otherwise it would have been a ZERO! read more

I tried to use the small, "independently owned" pharmacy up the street because they are supposed to offer a better, more personalized service; and that's what we DO in this town. Support LOCAL. They didn't provide any of the so-called perks of being a small, home town, local business. In fact they were slower, had longer lines, and seemed more unfriendly because of the large number of employees. CVS may be corporate but they get the job done and at least the pharmacists recognize me. The lines although as long, are quickly attended to. I am pleased that I made the switch. Have not regretted switching at all. read more

Other staff are wonderful but Cashier Shirley/Sheryl is very grumpy. If she's on the check out and you're couponing, back up. And it's so stressful, she sounded so condescending. She told me that her back hurts, "I have a pinch nerve" like 5x throughout my checkout process. Okay, I acknowledge that she's in pain, and she should not be working or something.. now if she chose to work and she's in so much pain, why would customers deserve to be treated with attitude? she just kept rolling her eyes on me. But other staff arranging the shelves are very helpful and approachable. read more

I keep having the worst experience with the pharmacist Christine. Every time I go, she is overwhelmed, angry, short tempered, and mean. Paul the previous pharmacist, was so wonderful. They lost a gem in him. The staff is wonderful here. But Christine should look into another profession that doesn't require dealing with the general public. It's really disappointing. read more

Look I love this pharmacy, it's super close to where I live and it's very convenient. It has a lot of things and most of the staff are helpful. The thing is there is this one staff who is SO RUDE. I've been here for a long time so I know it wasn't just a bad day, i don't know what her name is but she's white with freckles with now red dyed hair. She is always so mean to me and so snappy, it's like she hates it there and hates everyone there. Today I went in with a closed Halloween candy bag and asked a nice man if I could return it. He didn't know so he asked that girl and she said "no you cant" which is fine but her tone was really snappy. Then I followed up just with lile "oh that's okay I was wondering wh-" she cut me off and raised her voice, "you can't return seasonal items" and then she just left looking rlly annoyed, if the manager ever sees this, fire her. read more

The pharmacy is the worst. Actually, it just seems to be one pharmacist who is consistently making mistakes and then she is incredibly rude when she is called out on them. My doctor ordered me two months worth of a medicine that I needed because I was going out of town for six weeks and CVS refused to fill the order. When the order came in with only one, I immediately called them and told them the problem. I was told it would be ordered and that it would be a day or two (this has been the case for months because of the back order). Since I still had time before I was leaving, I thought I would be safe. I checked my status a few days later and sure enough they got it in and we're preparing my order. The other pharmacist decided to give it to somebody else because "they were waiting for a box and I already had one". But so completely unethical to me because my doctor ordered too, and it was not her right to give one away. I called and pointed out the problem and she lied to me and told me that she didn't give it away and that they not placed the order yet which was a total lie. She said she would order it, but they don't do that on the weekend and basically hung up on me. I wasn't even being rude. I was genuinely concerned that I wasn't going to have my medication in time and sure enough, I don't have my medication and I'm out of town. In fact, she still has not filled my medication and it's been over a week. This was the last straw for me and I am done using CVS as my pharmacy. read more

I went to the register to pay for my items, where Ashley was finishing ringing a customer. She looked up and asked if I was waiting to be rand up, I of course said yes. She then pointed to the self checkout and said I should ring myself up over there because they were supposed to send people to the self check out and they were not supposed to be using the registers.After she saw that they were both occupied, she said I'll just ring you up. Then again reiterated that she was supposed to send people to self check out because the company told her to. Several things wrong with this. I felt first that Ashley didn't really want to ring me up. I also felt like CVS didn't really want my money, and if they do, they want me to do all of the work. The service is better and more convenient to just order from Amazon. You should want to keep your guests buying in your stores by giving them exceptional person to person experience. And if you don't, then why are you better than just ordering from Amazon. Doesn't seem like you thought this one through. read more

Pharmacy does not accept GoodRx coupons (pharmacy managers choice). Medication cost $80 more than other pharmacy's. I went here because the cvs pharmacy that accepted GoodRx down the street had permanently closed and this was the one they had written to go to on their notice of closure. Will not be returning. read more

The manager refused to help my mom and me at the cash register when the coupon she uploaded wouldn't work. His response (to the clerk and not us) was, "I can't produce a coupon for her." He didn't even look our way. It was as though we didn't exist. It was humiliating and very upsetting. My mom shops there all of the time and to be treated this way was inhumane. read more

Unfortunately, they make lots of mistakes, which is exactly what you don't want in a pharmacy! On 2 separate occasions , they refilled a prescription without me requesting it, and then they inactivated an active prescription! Their system seems to not allow them to find the reason for the errors, so the answer to that question is, "You'll have to ask your doctor," rather than trying to answer the question themselves! Go elsewhere if you want to go to a pharmacy that doesn't make mistakes. read more

I can't say enough about the staff at the pharmacy here. I have never been treated so well at any business. Paul and Lydia and Rosie are my favorite people here. They have never ever let me down and they always take the time for me to figure out if I want the brand or generic.
