    Hi, I would like to…read moreexpress my frustration regarding my recent experience at the CVS Pharmacy located on Dykes and Miramar Parkway. I am currently visiting from out of state when my daughter became very sick and had to be taken to the hospital at midnight, where she tested positive for the flu. Her prescription was sent to the nearest pharmacy, which was this CVS location. When I arrived the following morning, I was met by an overwhelmed employee at the pharmacy counter who immediately told me to go to the nearest Walgreens due to insurance issues. I understood that my insurance might not be accepted and was fully prepared to pay out of pocket if necessary. However, instead of being offered options, I was simply told it would cost "over a hundred dollars" and that it would be in my best interest to go elsewhere. I drove to Walgreens, where the pharmacist informed me that the situation would be the same and suggested I return to CVS and ask about paying out of pocket. They also recommended looking for a coupon online, which I fortunately was able to find. When I returned to CVS, there was a long line. I explained what Walgreens had told me, but the same employee seemed unwilling to assist and initially refused to help. It felt as though I was inconveniencing her by asking for support. Only after further discussion did she mention that she had coupons available. This left me wondering why this option was not offered from the beginning, which would have saved valuable time during an already stressful family emergency. I was then told it would be another 20-minute wait. As someone visiting from out of state and dealing with a sick child, this experience was extremely disappointing. A little more willingness to help and clearer communication would have made a significant difference. Unfortunately, this left a very poor impression during what was already a difficult situation. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that other families in urgent situations receive more compassionate and proactive service. Sincerely, Paola Belcher
