HATE this place!! Just writing on the pharmacy, not the store as a whole, which is OK actually. Got a script filled here like I have many times before, however when I get home and check, I was shorted almost half of what I should have gotten. OK, no big deal I'll just go back and let them know so they can rectify the problem. No, instead the clerk looks at me funny and says, "no, I counted this." WTF?!!? Why would I lie!?!?!? Anyway... Left feeling soooo disgusted and like I was some addict trying to score more meds... The only good thing about this CVS location is that you can always find parking. The shopping center it is in is extremely old and run down, borderline shady looking. The store it self is old, dirty, run down, and poorly stocked. The pharmacy... oye vey! This rating is 100% for the customer services. My experience here has been the same on the phone and in person. The pharmacy techs and anyone who works here is simply rude and short on any type of personality. They don't greet you, don't assist you if you need help... I'm sorry, let me correct that IF they do assist you, they aren't happy that they actually have to do their jobs and HELP! They always rush people. Even when there's no one else behind you. They abasically will throw your receipt at you along with your prescriptions and God forbid you get a thank you. Binh Nguyen, as the Rx manager, you need to do better with your level of kindness, so that your employees follow suit. Lead by example, a good one! By far the best customer service Ive ever received at a CVS or any convince/ drug store for sure. The moment I walked in the gentlemen asked if I needed help finding anything. I don't like the change to CVS. I liked Longs much better. I like the cosmetics dept. here. It's well organized and when they have a sale, they actually have the items in stock, unlike RiteAid or Walgreens. Also, they walk their talk here, meaning, if a color of a product does not work out, you could bring it back with a receipt and they'll give you an exchange without hassle at all, even if you've opened it to try it. This is great since some product's color is different than what the chart shows. Great Customer Serivce! read more

Rubal at the Milpitas CVS pharmacy is the best. He is extremely knowledgeable of medications and insurance processes. He knows whether your insurance covers a brand name or generic. He always knows his customers names. His memory amazes me. If you ever need assistance at the pharmacy, Rubal is the one to ask. read more

I miss Longs Drugs! Ever since they switch over to CVS the quality of everything has gone down. The people aren't too friendly and i'm talking about the customers. This is probably because the customer service isn't that great anymore and people dread going in there. If it weren't for certain products i'd try to avoid this place. And I have to agree with a few of those that commented here on Yep that the lighting, oh my god! Its is like the zombie apocalypse in there. I've been coming to this store for 10+ years, almost once per week. Most of the cashiers are very nice. But today, I had the worst customer service experience ever. I was in line, looking at my basket & wallet. After the woman in front of me completed her purchase and moved away, I noticed a sign that said the lane was closed. So, I said "Oh, are you closed?" The cashier said sarcastically, "I'm trying to take a break." I said, "Why didn't you tell me?" She was snippy and said, "That's BEEN there" (pointing to the sign). I would have moved if she'd simply told me. I said, "Well, you don't always see everything." After that, it was clear she wasn't going to bag my items, so I did it myself. Clearly this woman has passive/aggressive behavior and doesn't belong in customer service. Wish I'd caught her name...but short, older, Asian woman with short dark hair. I'm so put off by this experience that I'll never be back to this store (after 10+ years), and will be transferring my prescriptions. As I mentioned, I've had good experiences with most of the cashiers at this store. So, I'm sorry to leave, but I don't need the extra stress from this one abrasive woman. read more

The cashier T. was rude. She took my $20 bill but entered $10 on the cashier register and insisted she was right. She didn't put my bill aside before giving changes. I know for sure I gave her a $20 bill but did not catch her while she was entering the number. A crooked cashier. I won't go to this CVS store again. Why is it that when I go into a Longs Drugs Store I always seem to buy more than I intended to? I've always liked this store location - the employees here are usually very friendly and helpful. I've been to other Longs stores (even in Hawaii!) - but I've always found it easy to locate items in this store and sometimes you can run across some real good deals. I really like the pharmacy here. Gene is the main pharmacist. I've always found him very helpful when I need a question answered about any medication that my doctor has prescribed for me. I also found this pharmacy to be very efficient in dispensing prescribed medications. read more

This CVS Pharmacy has got to be the worst one of all CVS'. The service in the pharmacy is terrible and all service people there are soooo unfriendly...they feel like they are being inconvenienced. Their wait time on all phone calls need to be extremely overhauled. I called 3 times within minutes and was on hold for 20+ minutes each time. I tried a 4th and finally someone answered 15 minutes later. This is TOTALLY unacceptable and they need to improve this like now. read more

It's always better when they have sales. Like, ridiculously awesome sales. Otherwise, the prices are not reasonable when you can get the same product at Wal Mart for a couple of bucks cheaper, usually. Their aisles are pretty organized and you can find everything from pet food, school supplies, and skincare/beauty products to microwaveable foods and wines. In my own experiences, the people ringing you up seem to be nicer than the ones stocking merchandise.. but maybe that's just me. read more

Went in today and notice lot of the merchandise is now changing over to CVS brand. Not too worried about that since most of the medicine on the shelf is the same as other brands. This is my home away from home. It's so convenient to get a coupon in my e-mail and have it sent to my cvs card. I can't lose or forget the coupon that way. My family has been shopping here for almost 25 years (it used to be Longs). I remember having tantrums in the toy aisle. I have many memories here, and my son is going to have memories too. I usually get the CVS brand on top of their 25% coupon. Tip: Check to see if their sale item is more or less than 25% off (since you can't use the coupon on sale items), and stock up which is better. read more

If i can give zero star that's what i'll give to this CVS store. I ordered some pictures online and i got an email notification telling me it will be ready in one hour. I was busy so i went the next day but the manager said the pictures are not ready to be pick up. I needed the pictures for my kid's school work so i waited. It took them 10 minutes to get my pictures (because nobody was at the photo service) and 10 more minutes for them to processed so i can pay for them. The worst photo service and the worst customer service CVS store. I will never shop at this place and I will not recommend this store to anybody. I hate this place. USE to be a place I frequently visit when it was LONGS.Since CVS took over the place blows chunks. They have those stupid discount cards you have to use otherwise you don't get the sale price. I hate that with a passion. Just give me the sale price damn it.! This place has excellent service in Photo department ..especially a gentlemen named Reuben provided exceptional service while taking passport photos for my kids. The service at this store SUCKS! Doesn't matter if there's 2 or 20 people in line; the wait will be 10 minutes. If you need something behind the film counter don't bother standing there waiting for someone to help you because it's not going to happen. Been going to this pharmacy for almost 19 years. Sadly the manager (Betty) and cashier Adarna (cashier) are the most unfriendly/ worst customer service at this branch. Thank God Paul (another manager) has retired I think. The only person I could ask or talk to for info is Monica (cashier). Cashier Adarna always gives me a hard time with my coupon and when I show her or tell her what's on the coupon she would say that she would accept it instead of admitting that she was wrong. Not only one time did she do this to me but every time I have a coupon. What is wrong with her? Manager and cashier should not be doing this kind of job. I go to CVS every Sunday only to pick up Rx or buy sale items. Please don't let these people work on Sundays. I beg you. If there was another cashier, I would go to another cashier. Oh yeah, there was a friendly helpful manager that worked one Sunday. I think she's Mexican woman. She's not regular at this branch. But I told her that she's the only one who has a happy face there. I got a CVS coupon via email that did not have a "Send to Card" option. This CVS does not take coupons off the phone or enter the bar code listed on the coupon even though it clearly has instructions for the associates to manually enter it. What a waste of time. These people are lazy. read more

On Sunday evening, I purchased a shelf item from the Beresford CVS store. in Milpitas, CA. I provided my Credit Card for the purchase and clearly recall replacing the card in my billfold. When I arose on Monday, I could not locate my billfold. I searched my house, laundry, car, etc. etc. without success. When I left for the day, I decided to stop by the CVS store on the remote chance that I left my billfold in the store or dropped it in the parking lot. When I entered the store Mili, the register clerk seemed to recognize me, although I was certain we had not met. I explained my mission to recover my billfold. Mili called in Monica and Velma to retrieve the billfold from the store safe where it had been placed overnight. Every one contributed what they could to help me and I sincerely appreciate their efforts. All my cash and cards were returned. I frequent this CVS because of it's outstanding cashier service. These people are the Bee's Knees! In fact this CVS is nowhere near where I live (east San Jose), but because of the "shitty" customer service/cashiers I have experienced at the CVS on McKee and also the one on Berryessa, the drive is worth it. I can think of (4) different cashiers who have helped me with a smile, friendliness, and exceptional customer service skills here. Have to give credit to the manager also, since they are doing something right by hiring or managing these wonderful employees!!!!!!! Will get the word out and keep up the great job! I absolutely hate going to this cvs. I only go when it's necessary because every time I go in for one or two items, it turns into a 20-40 minute ordeal. Yes, that's right, numerous times I have been in line for over half an hour with only 4-5 people ahead of me. The staff is incredibly slow moving. Sometimes they don't even know what they're doing and a manager has to come override whatever mistake they made. The staff is also usually unfriendly and sometimes even rude to their customers. The only exception I have ever seen was when I went in today. The lady at the cash register was actually friendly today. But I guessing it's because it's her last day working there. I know this because she told the three people that were in line ahead of me. If I worked there, I would be glad to be leaving, too. Lesson learned? Only go to this cvs if you are a very patient person, or don't mind a simple errand to get a gift bag taking half an hour. Oh, and my photos that I ordered were incorrect, and even had another person's order added to mine. Needless to say, I'll be using shutterfly or target photo from now on. read more
