Everytime i go here there are several folks milling about behind the counter and only 1 register open. The customer service is quite poor here. People are clearly unhappy and moving as slowly as possible. They have no empathy for the person who shows up sick and uncomfortable. They like to spend time scolding their customers. The staff have always been very pleasant and helpful. I primarily use CVS for prescriptions and find that the pharmaceutical staff are knowledgeable and have assisted me in the past with recommendations on over the counter drugs and answered questions that I've had on prescriptions. They've always been friendly and willing to assist me. read more

I was a long-time and happy customer at Rite-Aid on Main Street till they were bought out by Walgreen's. For a year or so I tried the Walgreen's on east main extension out of loyalty to the Rite-Aid staff they hired back. I found it a notch below on most counts, including opening hours. Reluctantly I decided to try CVS across the street because my insurance allowed 3-month refills there and not at Walgreen's. Reluctant because the reviews were so bad. I've been with them now for two years and I have to say this pharmacy has clearly turned its ship around: superbly well-managed, helpful, courteous, efficient staff. Young, diverse: the real face of America, which I love to see, especially since they are not yet burned out and really try to help customers consistently. Give them a shot: nothing to do with the CVS of 5 years ago. read more

The pharmacy workers are rude. They question your prescription and tell you "oh we dont have that and you could just get the over the counter one" when infact they did have it and we're to lazy to actually go check the shelf for it. Then they just refill prescriptions with out asking even after you told them multiple times to not autofill it and when you dont pick it up they use 1 of your refills. Very nice, very clean CVS store. I had to really use the bathroom and it was beyond clean, which was much appreciated. Great selection of drinks and Tums available here too. Wouldn't mind stopping by here again for any drugstore needs. read more

They gave my med to someone else. I was told there was nothing they could do. I was notified one day prior that the med was ready.

9/27/18 at 8:00pm- Went there tonight to pickup a prescription at the drive-thru and the the attendant there was very dismissive and rude. She was singing a song she wrote called, "I want to be a pharmacist." Except it wasn't good...and came off as being rude as if she didn't want to be there at that specific moment. She was pleasant and laughing with her co-workers but as soon as she came to the window she was completely different and fake. I am typically very pleasant to everyone especially when they treat me the same way they expect to be treated. Normally I find the attendants here very pleasant at the drive thru, but this one was just rude and I hope we don't get her again. read more

I've been using this pharmacy for the last 25 years and I'll tell you it has changed for the worse. Ever since the CV19 and these young kids working here with no respect, no empathy for an individual who needs certain meds and forget about getting the generic brand your used to. They don't care if one generic upsets your stomach. They won't order another without a hassle. Saying olde Shelly needs to go all the way back to her Doctor and have them write a new script saying you need this generic medically necessary when before you could just ask and they would order it for you. The pharmacist lady is okay but the man if you can even call him one and the techs are all not caring about the customer. I know there are shortages but when it's not in shortage and they try to give me Chinese cheap meds that make me sick to save a buck that's wrong. Double check your script to cuz they gave me someone else's meds a few times. The last time I went there they acted like I was bothering them. I know this store is busy at times but to tell me it's ready on the phone and I drive all the way there and they say it's not ready and when I finally get it it's the generic I told them I couldn't stomach. They said it's all the same I told em where they could shove it n I'll never come back here disrespecting me like that and loud when there's a line of folks! Switch to a small town pharmacy where they actually care about people is what I say. That's what I did. No more CVS for Shelly and her people no doubt. read more

When you don't have a well stocked dairy cooler, management is failing and details are not their strong suit. Went to get half and half and they did not have, NOT ONE container. Not one. I'll change my review next time I have an awesome experience. Which I doubt will happen read more

This CVS has a problem keeping the shelves stocked. They are almost always out of whatever it is I need, especially if it's on sale. The pharmacy is the slowest I've ever dealt with, it's not uncommon to have to wait a full day to be able to pick up a prescription that's called in, and that's really just unacceptable...especially when the Stop and Shop pharmacy one block away can do it in 20 minutes. It's the closest CVS to my house, and it's open 24 hours, so it's got the Washington St. location beat there. But I just wish they were more on top of things and had a little more focus on customer service. read more

I will no longer be using this pharmacy. I had used this pharmacy for over 20 years. It has always been very quick and the pharmacist and the attendant were very respectful. I understand that they're busy and are doing their best but the way that they're doing things are not efficient, I waited in line for over 20 minutes when there are only two cars when I talk to the attendant, they told me there was an insurance issue. Which I understand and respect that. He even asked to see if there was anything he could do to help me. Which was kind. I them ask them why we can't go to the window and they responded with Covid testing from 9 to 530. There is no one at all in that line ever! But sitting here waiting for the machine and talking to a pole is not friendly service or efficient. When I tried to voice my concerns, the attendance decided to hang up on me. There will be a formal complaint about this. That is not how you treat customers. I really hope the manager and the pharmacist take this and speak to their workers. This guy was very rude! Yesterday afternoon my doctor called in a prescription for me for an infection. I came in today to pick it up. I waited for about ten minutes for someone to come to the register. Then they put me at the back of the drop-off line (which was considerable) because my prescription coverage had to be updated - every other CVS I've ever been to in the last 15 years updates it at the register. Then, after waiting another 10 minutes, they told me that the prescription that I need IMMEDIATELY for my infection was mysteriously "on hold", has to be prepared from scratch, and I have to wait another 15 minutes ... as if I'd just walked in off the street like the other customers and hadn't already been waiting 24 hours. I explained to the young woman with very straight long hair how much I'd already been waiting and that they'd already made me late to work but she didn't even try to do anything. Every other CVS I've been to prepped it right there for me when they've screwed up and I didn't even have to ask. I had to leave with my prescription unfilled and now I have no idea when I will be able to pick it up because I have a five month old and a job. I'm switching it to the Washington St. CVS as soon as possible so that I hopefully won't be treated like crap again. read more

I am done with this pharmacy. I asked four times to stop auto refilling my prescription. This request was either too difficult to understand or they are completely inept. They just filled it again. If this is the way they handle opioid prescriptions, it is no wonder we have a crisis. Done with these pushers, moving to Walgreens across the street. read more

I just left this CVS, and lord the lady at the pharmacy register is so dame rude. I'm over here being super sweet like a ass hole. lol and she looked at me in disgust cause I asked to get my COVID shot. She barley explained to me that the shot that I needed is at a completely different CVS yet my mother just received hers here. The way she said it was so rude, I said (it's OK I'll go there but I didn't know. So calm down.) Just because The person before me in line was pissed off at her over a prescription not being filled. I came in asking the frontside cashier (as I later learned) where the bottled water was. He gave me a cold stare suggesting I was stupid. I was actually in a hurry, did not have time for a store search, but I saw it up front. I grabbed a case of water. Then I asked him where stationary was, and he grumbled "I don't know." It would have been better to have just said "I don't know but I think it is located at..." I did find stationary, which was pretty small, and did not find a small note pad. As I was doing this, I saw this same disgruntled employee stocking merchandise in the same aisle area. I said to myself out loud so he could hear it "He doesn't know huh...maybe he is just a vendor." I then asked another employee, whom I assume was the store manager, who was very polite and professional and showed me where the small note pads were (probably would have never found them). I took my stuff up front for check out, and found out that the possible vendor was actually a store employee cashier. As I completed my transaction, he took the receipt and crushed it as it was coming out of the cash register machine staring at me coldly the whole time. I mentioned to him that he should be happy that he's employed because I know what it's like to be fired and unemployed for a very long time. The cashier responded (paraphrased) that he knows, he's college-educated. I then said if you hate your job you should look for another one. He responded that he likes his job. I wrap this conversation up by stating that you definitely don't look like you were in a very good mood today, Trying to suggest that he better not make it worse for him self. Pharmacy techs are really rude for no reason. One tech in particular is not nice and basically rushes through and gasps while rolling her eyes if I have questions about the prescription or coverage. It seems the store is not well managed since the workers continue these behaviors over several visits. There used to be a nice tech months ago but she must have had her baby. This is our local CVS. It is open 24 hours and the pharamacy always does a good job with prescriptions - we never have to wait too long. I think that the photo processing is average, and overall, the customer is average. read more

I need to quit asking for prescriptions there. They always get it wrong. Requested a 90 day refill in the phone (speaker phone), my family said 'you'll be sorry'. Sure enough got a 30 day refill and one less refill on the label. Called to ask for the other 60 days. Got 'attitude', saying it was a problem with the 'phone robot' and they couldn't help me. Moved my Rx to the Washington St location (where the rest of my family gets their Rx). read more

I have used this pharmacy for years. They have consistently not had my medicine ready when I need it , sometimes I have waited days . The staff is not knowledgeable about what is happening and we have had to repeat ourselves multiple times to cashiers because they don't listen the first 7 times we tell them something . If it wasn't the closest Pharmacy, I would not get medicine from here. I advise people to find another one . read more

this pharmacy sucks ass. dropped off my scrip, was told to come back in an hour, cool, come back an hour and a half later, wait in line for 20 minutes just to be told that it's not ready and to wait about 20-30 minutes... month passes by and i come in, scrip was turned down because my doctor started to right a 9 instead of a 10 and they needed to page and confirm with my doctor that it's a 10 and not an 11.. it's saturday so they wouldn't get an answer until monday... it just takes a little logic and common sense, especially since they saw that i had my last scrip filled on the same day last month, why would my doctor skip over a month especially with the medication i'm taking? ANYWAY, i took my scrip back, went across the street to Walgreens and got my scrip filled in 15 minutes. I will be going to Walgreens from here on out and i recommend you do the same to save yourself a lot of time and hold off on a lot of frustration and confusion. read more

This CVS pharmacy appears to have too many customers to care about customer service or care. The staff at the counter are overwhelmed and condescending. It's an accepted culture on how to treat customers. They speak to you on private matters loudly and with an annoyed tone. The wait time is very long. I have been going there for years and therefore they have all my prescription records. Time to make a change. It will probably be a pain but every time I go in, I feel disrespected and say to myself, why do I keep putting up with being treated like crap. The only saving grace is that the regular store staff are polite and a counter balance to the pharmacy. read more
