Pharmacy staff works really hard to help as many people as possible especially with minimal staff. I have witnessed them taking verbal abuse from customers on several occasions, yet the staff remains kind and professional. This miserable and ignorant guy strikes again!!! I literally can't stand how rude he is to certain people of color and I'm not the type of person to use that complaint but I literally just witnessed him change his whole attitude to a whole separate group of people. I really can't understand why he's still employed here. I think I'm going to start asking for a new cashier whenever he's here. Because he doesn't want to deal with me and I dont want to deal with him and shouldn't have to either. Can't stand this location. The pharmacy is always slow everytime you go in you have to wait like 20 minutes. Maybe hire some people.

When did the word pharmacy become synonymous with the words inefficient and unprofessional? I stopped in today just to grab a wrist brace for my sprain and it was awful. The ace bandages and braces are at the back of the store where they had placed stack after stack of totes. I understand that these are all full of merchandise that needs to be stocked but do we need all of them out on the sales floor at once?? I just felt like I was in the way the whole time I was looking at my options. There were several times that I had to move to let someone get by. Then came the trip to the register. The line was really long and the lady ringing people out didn't seem to know what she was doing. I ended up back in cosmetics ringing out, otherwise I don't know how long it would have taken. I can see why there was no one picking up or dropping off prescriptions. I will not be returning. read more

I can't say enough about this particular store esp the Lead Pharmacist Albert .. its rare when people of stature go above and beyond but Albert did jus that . Its really refreshing in this day and age to get a great customer service experience . Kudos to Walgreens !! read more

This Walgreens is one of the worst pharmacies Ive been to. A few years ago the Rite Aid in Middletown closed and all of those customers were sent to Walgreens by default . I had used this location before for basic things. However when I started to fill my medication prescriptions is when the CHAOS started. The pharmacists constantly "played doctor" and questioned my prescriptions . They also struggled dealing with my insurance company and consistently lied to me as if I would go away. Most patients have a established relationship with their doctor. So Im not gonna take the word from the pharmacy over my doctor who I have been consistently seeing and receiving treatment. Im certain that some of the strategies used by this pharmacy and pharmacists ( male and female) were illegal . However I don't have the time to legally go after them, which they are aware so they continue to treat in the way they do . Under the guise of course "its my responsibility what scripts I filled " which is also nonsense. They take your information your doctors information its all turned over to the DEA . Its all accounted for and no pharmacist has ever been sued or convicted for filling a prescription . read more

I come to this location every single week due to my prescriptions being prescribed weekly, and as of late,with the exception of a couple of excellent techs,the sevice in the DRIVE THRU PHARMACY IS THE WORST!!! NO one even pays you any attention for at least 10 min at times, they screw up one of my meds every single week, even though I fixed with them, numerous times! They also gave me and another friend of mine someone else's medicine!! Get with the Program or staff up Walgreens!! read more

AVOID THIS PHARMACY!!!! Worst customer service EVER. My family's business was sent over to this Walgreen's after the company bought the Rite Aid at 10 A Main Street, Middletown CT where we had been shopping for many years. The pharmacy staff at the Main Street location was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They knew their customers by name and went overboard to make sure they were happy. Many of the customers were disabled and/or elderly, did not drive and needed access to a local downtown pharmacy. Walgreen's obviously bought them to shut down the competition. For shame Walgreen's!!! You have now left a pharmacy desert in downtown Middletown. Now we are stuck with a pharmacy that is not only inconvenient for non-drivers -- but also frequently forgets to fill requests or takes days to fill a much needed script, forcing us to come back multiple times to an out of the way location. Trying to request refills is difficult. I have often waited for 20 minutes or more just to get through to someone at the pharmacy. Staff frequently has difficulty finding the account information that was supposed to have been transferred. The transition over to this location was supposed to be seamless for those of us already in the system, but it has been anything but that. After three months of extremely poor customer service, I am looking to take our business elsewhere. read more

I called yesterday afternoon to make sure my prescription refill was ready to pick up. The woman told me I was all set and ready to pick up. I get here today, and guess what.... it's not ready to pick up... this is NOT the first time this has happened. The employee was rude and unprofessional and seemed inconvenienced that I was here to pick up my medication... I will be switching to CVS across the street. read more

In response to Lea. I use the drive up pharmacy frequently. The "Asian man " is an extremely knowledgeable pharmacist. As a woman with multiple health problems he always has the correct answer. As far as prices are concerned can't beat them read more

kinda the new kid on the block here - across from that 24 HR CVS .. and only open til 10. place is new and in a brand new building, so it's super-clean and honestly a little nicer than the CVS. I don't know why we needed another drugstore/convenience store in the neighborhood though. kinda funny they have those shopping carts that have the wheels that lock up if you try to leave the property with them. different selection than CVS so if you need something that they dont have try this place - its only a few feet away!! read more
