****Buyer beware**** I purchased a Nordstrom gift card…read morevalued at $200. I confirmed verbally with the sales woman that the card was active and ready for gifting. A few weeks after gifting the card to the recipient, the recipient went to the store to use it and was informed the card had no value. She in turn called the number listed on the back of the card and was informed it had been used by a man with an Asian name. The general manager of the store refused to compensate me and my credit card company failed to refund me. Now I've escalated it to CVS corporate. Please do not buy any gift cards from CVS. Anyone else experience this issue, please share with others. Two hundred dollars isn't made so easily for staff and CVS to treat it as though it's nothing big to loose.

The doctor said that is reasonable and put the refills in. Everyone knows that when you move across country that you need some time to get there, you need time to get your home situated and you need time to find a new doctor/care team. I called the WalGreens on 30th and W Ave L to ensure that they would be able to fill without any issue on the 2nd of June...two weeks from now. They put all through the system except the sleeping aide. Both of my insurances paid and she said I could pick those up on the 2nd of June. She said I needed my doctor to call the pharmacist to discuss the sleeping aide and get approval. I called my doctor and she called the pharmacy to get approval. The doctor's office called back and said that they would not fill my prescriptions because I was moving. A few minutes after getting off the phone with my doctor the pharmacy called and said I was not traveling I was moving and that they would not fill it because it was fraud!!!! I told her it wasn't fraud...I was moving and it would take me several weeks to travel there and get situated with my 82 year old dad who is a Vietnam vet. They had all the prescriptions revoked in the system! I called their corporate office and submitted a complaint. An hour later the pharmacist, Veronica (another employee gave me her name), called me from the store and said she did not understand my complaint. When I explained it to her again she got agitated and said I was making excuses because there are pharmacies where I was going and I could have the refills transferred. I did just get 2 of the meds refilled last week but by the time I get there I will be out and I will have just arrived there. I have never in my life had this issue when moving or traveling with a pharmacy. I explained this to her and she said to have my insurance call her to give approval. When I told her they did that when her employee put it into the system in the first place my insurances approved the travel exemption...that is why they had that. She said it was fraud and hung up on me. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. This pharmacist is untrained, rude, and power hungry. Blue Cross federal and Tri care should cancel their contracts with this company. If there are exceptions people can use for traveling there is not reason we should not be able to use them when traveling.

Since that time, I have noticed a shocking change in the pharmacy. To save time, I started using the drive thru. On 6/12/2026, I was second in line, and as it was thanking a long time I went inside, thinking and believing, I could pick-up my eye drops and head home. Once inside, I immediately noticed the floors were spotted with stains. Then, at the counter, I discerned there was only one individual servicing the drive thru customers, while at the same time servicing the customers standing in line. After I had been asked my name, date of birth, and address, the young lady alerted the pharmacist to give me instructions on applying eye drops, which I declined, especially since there was a consultation window available for customers who needed help. I readily admit the staffing of the pharmacy leaves a lot to be desired, for I have encountered the pharmacy fully staffed, and the individuals were merely standing around doing absolutely nothing. Then, on 6/12/2026, there was one servicing the drive thru window customers, while helping the customers at the counter. The pharmacists stopped filling prescriptions to instruct me how to apply eyedrops. It is totally absent arrogance when I admit I have a BA in English Literature, and I am published, mystery writer whose books are being adapted for film. I say this to say I hardly need instructions on using eyedrops. Most all of my prescriptions are filled by this pharmacy, which will immediately be stopped, for I will endeavor to find a more efficient pharmacy. The cleanliness of the pharmacy vests solely with the manager. I have absolutely no idea who hires the pharmacy personnel, but I do strongly suggest this individual reconsider those who have been hired. My brother doesn't steal, cause problems, or break any rules. Going into a store, looking around, and deciding what to buy is not against the law. When I asked why he was being kicked out, the employee became aggressive and had absolutely no customer service skills absolutely zero customer skills. Instead of calmly explaining the situation, he kept insisting that he could "show me on the cameras" that my brother comes into the store and walks around. What made the interaction even more concerning was that the employee also said he always sees my brother "hanging around and playing around with those Black kids." That comment felt completely unnecessary and made me question whether my brother was being unfairly profiled based on who he spends time with rather than anything he actually did. he is 11 years old. He just wanted to buy drinks. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and judged by their actions, not by assumptions or the people they associate with. My brother did nothing wrong, yet he was treated like he didn't belong in the store. I hope CVS management looks into this incident and ensures customers are treated fairly and respectfully. She is always polite, patient, and professional, and her willingness to go the extra mile really stands out. I also want to recognize Cindy and Nikki, who are always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. But today I had a completely different experience. I was there for a while (couponing) scanning items on my phone, scanning on the red box to see what I wanted to purchase. I had multiple items in my hands on my way to self check out, my phone died and I was unable to clip all coupons so I purchased what I did have coupons for and placed the other items on the back of a shelf so I can charge my phone in my car and come back for the rest... I was gone maybe 10 mins while my phone charged.. I came back in, grabbed my items and was walking back to the register a worker (her name is AMARIS) came up to me and told me to leave because she seen me steal items before I walked to my car. I was obviously upset because I DID NOT steal. She was smirking and I asked what did I steal and she replied "girl don't act dumb".. I spoke to the manager and asked her to check the camera.. Cindy was very nice! She went to check the cameras and CONFIRMED I did NOT steal. I showed her my receipt as well. Cindy was very apologetic and said AMARIS was wrong and her approach was inappropriate. As I was leaving AMARIS was STILL smirking at me. This was extremely upsetting to me and the fact that AMARIS NEVER apologized because she was COMPLETELY WRONG is also not ok. I will be filing a formal complaint.
