I've been coming here for two years now and I've never had a bad experience. Waiting time is minimal and the pharmacist is usually very informed. It's nice that you can do your other shopping while your prescription is getting filled. I will continue coming here. read more

I came here twice in a day to pick up sth for my neighbor who's sick at home with her newborn twins. I must praise the employee who was so polite and friendly and patient giving me precise directions to the right aisle (first time) and walking me to the correct aisle looking for the item(second time). I missed her name, but if you ever needed help inside the store, look for this tall brown hair middle age woman who wears glasses. I always enjoy good customer service. read more

I just got prescribed new medication and my insurance company isn't the easiest to go through but Brenda at the pharmacy did everything she could to help even when my doctor wasn't. She called my insurance company for my doctor and went through all the hoops that my doctor should have done. She went above and beyond in helping me and was so unbelievably kind even though it was a very frustrating situation. It's people like her that do more than they have to that makes it easier for patients like me to get their medication. read more

The store itself is unorganized and frankly falling apart in some places (not the typical Irvine establishment). The pharm techs are usually pretty quick and polite enough, but their pharmacists are downright rude. My medication was switched from brand name to generic, then back to brand name. With a change of medication this last time, they require a consult. The tech called for a consult, the pharmacist told me to take the medication just as I did with the generic medication. I said okay and asked why I was switched back to brand name (just out of curiosity, since I had to pay $5/mo for generic, but did not pay this time for brand name) and she asked "well I have [generic] do you want that?" To which I replied, "no, this is fine, I was just wondering why I had to pay for generic if this one is covered by insurance." To which she snapped back "do you want the generic one or not?" I declined, grabbed my medication, and left. You're a pharmacist, it's not like you're chopping down trees all day, there's no need for an exacerbated attitude. read more

Went to the Minute Clinic to get by bio metric exam to submit to my employer's insurance provider (they compensate me for it). Long story short, my results were a tad wonky, which is fine in itself - hey if my blood is wonky that's on me (or my ancestors). They explained to me it's because I have very low triglycerides levels that I dont have a valid HDL value. Ok. Fair enough. They also commented on how great it was that I have low triglycerides levels, that it suggests I'm super healthy, and to keep doing my thing. Cool I thought. So I send the form into my insurance provider with the results that the Minute Clinic filled out for me. Under HDL, they put NA. It got rejected without the HDL value. I called the insurance company, and they said all I needed to do was get the Minute Clinic to fill out this other form stating why they couldn't get an HDL value from me, and I was good to go. I go back to the Minute Clinic to get them to fill that form out. Mind you, this is the all within the same day. They refuse, saying that they can't "diagnose" my issue. I told them to just write down on the form what they told me about my triglycerides levels being too low to generate a HDL value, so I can be done with this, but they refused, again saying they can't make a "diagnosis." What?! It's a reason for a lack of HDL value, it just needs an explanation. And even if it's a diagnosis, why was it okay to tell me verbally, but not okay to have it in writing? They then suggested I go to a real doctor. When I mention that I just used my one free annual checkup with them to get this "incomplete" biometric, they tell me that I need to go to a real doctor since I might have a medical condition. Just earlier in the day, they told me my low triglycerides levels suggest I'm super healthy, but now they are saying they can't give me a HDL value because I might have a medical condition, and I need to see a medical physician about it? Waste of my time, waste of my insurance providers money. Don't make my mistake, ESPECIALLY if you're trying to get bio metric results. Go somewhere else! read more

This is the worst CVS I have ever been to. They don't call to let you know your prescription is ready or call to tell you it will no longer be available if you don't pick it up within the short time window they give you. The staff could care less about customer service. Nobody even answers the phone half the time....including the automated machine. Go to any other CVS than this one. read more

WORST group of workers I have ever seen. I was crying begging for my antidepressant yesterday and they were sitting there just ignoring me. Most of them don't even speak English and can't communicate. One lady even smiled and laughed while I was crying. Waited for over an over just to pay for one pill because I couldn't afford the rest. They also told me I had never been to their pharmacy before which is ridiculous. I have been there because it is around the corner from my house and I remember specifically all of their faces. So rude. Such bitches. Use a different CVS. I would go on and on about each time I have been there but there are so many bad reviews I don't even need to say more read more

The pharmacist is rude, the techs are incompetent, and all of them are slow and disorganized. I've always hated coming here because of the long lines and unnecessary wait. But after my recent experience, I will definitely not be coming back. I went on a Saturday and it was busy as expected. When I got to the front of the line the pharmacist said they might be out of the medication even though I had already been told that the prescription was ready. He went to check the shelves just in case. While he was there, he decided to yell my prescription and why I was taking it just to double check; everyone in line could hear him. So embarrassing! I've been frustrated with this pharmacy for years now but kept coming back because it was conveniently located. Now, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Very rude pharmacist. Came here to pick up my medication, pharmacist told me to come back in 15 min. They usually take longer though. I came back around that time (5 min give or take) and it was closed at 6:07. I asked for help through a crack in the divide bc i could hear them all still working, pharmacist said in a very rude, unapologetic tone, "ya, we're closed" and i didnt want to make a scene so i left. She could have at least let me know they were closing soon when she told me to come or been more apologetic. I'm told she's the head pharm. She should be ashamed of her attitude. read more

I'm moving all of my prescriptions to a different location. I call my orders in ahead of time and still wait 20 min for them to be filled because they were too busy to get to them. Additionally, I get to wait in the very long line. They are under staffed and not all that friendly. read more

This review is just for the pharmacy. Unfortunately my prescriptions have been here for years because it is close to my house. For the better part of a decade I picked up my prescriptions near my work in San Clemente and loved the pharmacy. Then when my work changed back near my house, so did my pharmacy. The first thing the Irvine pharmacy did is transfer it back to San Clemente. It took quite awhile to straighten out their mistake and they weren't even nice or helpful about it. Second, from before San Clemente (Sav-on) to after San Clemente (CVS), the service has changed a lot! Service is very slow and the staff is indifferent. read more

Oh boy! Where do I start? Worse Pharmacy EVER! Just moved to this part of Irvine and getting a new script for my elderly mother......Large Drugstore and when I got to the back of the store, I noticed this pharmacy had at least 8 people working and there wasn't anyone in line for "drop off" except me. Waited over 5 minutes for someone to assist, had the script in hand all filled out the young man behind the counter says to me RUDELY "I need the address and birthdate" Well asshole, if you happened to look at the paper, it's already filled out......" So then he proceeds to get a tablet of paper that I have to have my senior mother's Dr. fill out a medicare form in order to fill the script! Are you freaking kidding me? I asked for all paperwork back to leave and go to another Pharmacy that mother is already in the system for. All I needed was some diabetic strips! I ended up going to the Walmart near the Spectrum and let me tell you, the young man behind the counter was so informative and nice! But Walmart isn't contracted yet with medicare. So I called Walgreens on Irvine Blvd and Sand Canyon........Let me tell you! Not only did they go above and beyond, Walgreens even filled the script in 15 minutes. I will never step foot in this CVS again......Thinking wiall all the complaints here on Yelp, a district Manager would get this store in tip top shape! I'm in customer service and if I had ever treated a customer like this, my ass would be canned. Sad.......I'd rather drive a little further and get great service than deal with idiots and to top it off RUDE ONES at CVS. Angie at the CVS at Harvard and Main could teach this crew how to work and that pharmacy is only one line for pick up and drop off! read more
