Horrible services I came to get my medications. They were not organized. I had couple of questions regarding my medications.They were mean to me. I was confused between registry and pick up line. They shoot me back and forth to drop off location. No one was there to take care of me. After waiting 5-10 mins one Asian lady came up to me says you have to go in line again to pick up your order and walk away with mumbling omgggg. They are so rude! Unprofessional. This location consistently has a long line and is under staffed. When you do get to the counter they do not have your order ready and make you wait an additional 1/2 hour- 1 hour. They are often out of stock and make no effort to help you get your meds somewhere else. Just overall bad service. read more

I cannot imagine a worse pharmacy anywhere in the world - and I mean anywhere. Got a phone call saying a perscription I needed today was ready at the Culver store. Went there and they said it was at the Alton store. They called Alton, who said they did not have the perscription and had no recorsd of me at all - interesting since I have perscriptions filled there every couple of months. Went to the Alton store and they "laughed" and said must be a computer glitch. They denied ever talking to anyone from the Culver store - who is lying here? Said they had a record of the perscription, but none of me asking for a refill - the perscription actually had a refill on it and I had used the online system to order it. So why did I get a phone call saying it was ready at a different store and why did they tell that store that there was no record of me or the perscription? Defintitely time to swicth to a new pharmacy. read more

Some CVS are sketchy. Some are snooty. Some are low down and dirty. But I just love-love-love this CVS Pharm. CVS Pharm hooked me up with the jab for vaccines not once but twice when my own dr's office didn't have convenient appointments available. This location made it super easy to get an appointment on their app. I experienced no issues with parking, it was easy to check-in, wait a few minutes for that "one person" in line ahead of me (oh yeah) and before I knew it, it was over. And the shot? Barely felt it. You know another reason why I like the pharmacy here? It's huge. It spans almost the entire back wall of the store. It's not tucked into a corner like at the supermarket or a smaller store. And they are open 24-7. read more

I made 10 pm flu shot appointment online because that's the only available time slot of the day. I filled out the forms for me and my husband. Finally it was 10 pm, and we checked in through the website. The pharmacy person said, " Unfortunately I can't give you the flu shot, I wish I could." ‍ ‍‍ So the appointment system is useless I guess. This pharmacy SUCKS. Stuck it out for multiple years with them and watched as it's just gone downhill on service. The manager should be fired. How do you constantly have lines that back up into the aisles and not have more than 1-2 workers helping??? I feel bad for the workers and pharmacists as they're constantly under duress. Change the manager. TERRIBLE. No one answers the phones, doesn't matter what time you call. Their systems suck too, constantly an issue and question mark if our meds will be filled. I've had it. It's a long walk strategically located away from the Casinos where it is 10 minutes from Harrah's and Harvey's. With high elevation and heat it's a battle. Once your in it's fine, then you have to walk back to your hotel and suffer. read more

This pharmacy has got to be the worst ever. On two separate occasions my prescription was not filled due to needing additional authorization from my provider to receive insurance coverage. Instead of sending the document to the dr. Or even informing me. They discontinued the prescription. I had to follow up myself wondering where my medicine is to be informed! After that i did all the work and received my medicine fully covered. They are so lazy! PLEASE believe the reviews!! If you need to go to a CVS go to ANY OTHER CVS other than this location. The pharmacist and staff are rude and the wait times are insane! One of the staff members was extremely rude to an elderly woman who clearly had an issue speaking English. Just be advised if you get ANYTHING sent to this location make sure your Dr sends it right the first time or you'll be waiting at least an hour! I Have no choice cause my insurance only accepts cvs. One pharmacist told me does not matter if you take this medication with food, the other one told me I need to take it with food. Long waits on line always. They do not folllow-up, I have to keep calling. The never have enough employees, always a long wait. Maybe this is the only staff willing to work after 9pm on a Saturday but they were rude, lack of knowlege and lack of interest. Where can you go? That's right - nowhere. It's Irvine. Everything you even remotely CONSIDERED going to closed 2 hours ago. There's nothing for you to do here. You should just go home. But. You are in a desert called Irvine and a store or restaurant with its lights on at 10pm is an oasis. You drive closer, expecting your dreams to be shattered - that maybe it was a mere reflection off a street light. But as you approach, the three letters fill you with hope as your faith in Irvine humanity is restored: C. V. S. To the untrained eye, it is but a convenience store and pharmacy rolled into one. Please BEWARE of the prescription mail service that they keep advertising for! I think it is important for anyone using this services to understand the store policy for if your prescription is lost in the mail. I ordered my asthma medication to be be mailed to me about 2 weeks ago, in advance of running out, and then kept waiting and waiting and it didn't arrive. I finally got to my last pill and asked the pharmacy for a status. They said they don't know what happened but that it was my responsibility to track it down with the post office. They gave me the tracking number and a phone number to call the post office. She also said it was not an option to get a replacement due to insurance limitations. I waited on hold for about 40 minutes only for someone to answer and tell me that the number I was given was a business line and that it is for CVS to call on the customer's behalf. She told me I had to call my local post office or call back CVS and tell them that they need to call the business line themselves about it. I then called my local post office and the supervisor said they were too busy and he would call me back in 30 minutes. 2 hours later he called back and said they can't locate the package and the last "scan" they had for it was 7 days ago. He even had the mail carrier check her truck and it is nowhere to be found and there is nothing he can do. I called back CVS and was told they can issue me a new one and to come in to get it. Somehow this person I spoke to knew what to do to order a replacement so I was thankful and headed right over to the store. When I arrived they tried to charge me for it again and I explained that I had already paid for this prescription. That is when I was told that their policy is that the customer has to pay again for the prescription even if we never received the first one we ordered and paid for. Luckily I don't have a big copay but for anyone who does, beware that if you order your prescription that you need to pay for it a second time if it gets lost in the mail. With all of the post office delays going on right now it seems risky to order through mail. I am only giving 2 stars because, while I typically like this pharmacy when everything is going smooth, I expected better customer service for when an issue came up. More sensitivity around this being a global pandemic with a virus that has significant respiratory implications and this being someone's asthma medication that has run out would have been nice here. Secondly, what business charges the customer a second time for an item that never arrives? It is not like this was a luxury item that I could go without, so there really was no choice but to pay again. I'm scared to go without my asthma maintenance medicine and the possibly get covid and be at higher risk of death! This is a really hard time for everyone and I am not angry about it....just hoping this can be a learning opportunity for the store and that maybe anyone reading this at CVS can re-think this policy and how lost prescriptions get handled. read more

I recently bought myself some Dr.Scholl's it's the only place that provides this and surprises they even carried it because I saw none at the display case. I can't say it's great with prices. The online prices are different from the store prices and often cheaper to buy things online and pick-up. I also hate to say they do not even compare with their own online store prices which sounds odd and crazy. Makes CVS an old-fashioned way of thinking compared to how many ways they accept cash, that's the only thing that they got going. read more

The service was phenomenal from the beauty department to the register, but the store director, Frank I believe, has a horrendous attitude. It appeared that a younger cashier was trying to help get the line down, and another employee was letting the customers in line know that the system had gone down and they could only do cash. It happens, so no worries. But when one of the younger cashiers came around to help with self checkout, he was practically belittled by Frank for doing what he thought was most helpful. Frank was rude, demeaning, and just overall unpleasant to hear, and I would hate to have him as any form of manager. He just seemed to be on a power trip, and the young cashier was trying so hard to be helpful. Should really take a look at who you have managing your stores. read more

I have no words right now, I have now been waiting for one hour for two prescriptions, the quoted time was 20 minutes. I was forced to come to this pharmacy for my medications because the CVS location I usually frequent was closed for the night. There is only one other person waiting, who has been waiting longer than me with a sick child in the car. I really hate to have to submit a Yelp review on my CVS. My family has been coming here for over 24 years. The store and pharmacy have generally been professional, helpful and pleasant. I called the pharmacy to confirm a prescription my doctor had called in. First, they told me they hadn't received it. After putting me on hold, they said they did. They said they would fill it same day. I received a text that it wasn't covered by my insurance shortly after. I called back and told them I would pay for it. They said they would fill it and have it ready. I went to pick up my medication today. I was told it wasn't in the system. I told them I called yesterday and received a text it was ready. The girl checked the system and spoke with another pharmacist, then told me they had run out. They would fill it within 10 minutes and call me. I waited 20 min. She apologized and said she would get to it right away. I waited another 20 min. I asked again. They said they was an issue with their system with respect to my prescription. I waited another 10 min. My name was called. The girl told me it wasn't ready, yet. I told her my name was just called. She went to retrieve my medication. I have NO problem waiting for my medication. I have NO problem if you are too busy to process my medication. I totally understand things like that. Every one is busy. I am busy. They are busy. We are all busy. We do our best. I get it. I do, however, have a problem with incompetence. I do have a problem if you are too lazy to check your system. I do have a problem if you act like you don't care. I do have a problem if you tell me something will be ready and neglect to follow up. My time is important, as well. I don't need you to apologize.
