It is open 6am - midnight and it has all you need for a quick trip from OTC meds to groceries/snacks and batteries to TP and diapers. There are cards and gift items for last-minute birthday/anniversaries and seasonal items, not to mention open on holidays. So when you need to run out, you know they've got your item here. I've read about the highly unusual staff here (I am a longtime customer) but I didn't see any of them on a recent visit. The staff is friendly and helpful (though short-staffed). I sent over 100 photos to print (photos? I know!) and though no one was at the photo counter when I arrived, I rang the bell and someone came to help me. It took a little time to find my order (not unusual I find this happens) but they did locate it and I was pleased with the results.

Not only has CVS closed a number of stores for falling sales (no doubt in part to customer…read moreservice), getting a couple scripts right seems to require moving mountains. I ordered a bottle of shampoo online from CVS, pay for it, said we'd be in the next morning to pick it up which wife did. It turns out they didn't have the shampoo I ordered, so they substituted something entirely different. So I called the store, explained my situation, and was given over to "the big boss." Big boss was neither polite, helpful, or the least bit courteous. He asked if I had a receipt. I had the bag the shampoo came in but there was no receipt in the bag. I told him we picked this up from you this morning and it's the wrong product. Can you not manage your website? Do you not have it people? Do you have stock people that can interface with the IT department? "We're sorry we can't help you," Boss said. Quite honestly I wouldn't step foot in a CVS pharmacy again unless I needed a medication and Walgreens was completely out. Even then, I would do so reluctantly.

Out of all the Walgreens stores that I have been to, the one in Deerfield Square stands out as the…read moremost pleasant one to shop at. This Walgreens is large and airy, bright and clean, with a more upscale feel to it. It is fully stocked. One big advantage of this store is that it is opened 24 hours a day! Another factor that impresses me most is the store's management. It has not just one, but two very nice and helpful managers. It had happened that I had clipped a $9 digital coupon online. Its requirement was to spend $40(or $30?) in a Walgreens store and I would get the coupon when I checked out. However, it didn't happen even after I spent the required amount. Long story short, the female manager was very nice and helpful, she apologized and manually added a $10 credit to my Walgreens loyalty account. When I went home and checked my Walgreens account online, I didn't see the added $10. So, the next time I went to this Walgreens, I talked to another manager, Sergio. The female manager had gone for the day. Sergio was very patient, kind, and helpful. To our surprise, he found that I actually had two accounts with Walgreens (apparently a mixed-up done by the pharmacy of another Walgreens), one with a slightly different name. The female manager had somehow credited the account that I did not know I had, and therefore did not actively use. Sergio gave me the phone number of their tech support department that could help me eliminate one of the accounts (that I will call, I promise). When I was checking out, he rushed over to make sure that I could apply my $10 credit without any problems. Kudos to Sergio! Now, as I know that I have two accounts, I am mindful to tell the cashier which one to use, until I can get one eliminated, or get them combined.

Perused the aisles & picked up a few things. Being in a wheelchair I did notice that the floors were a bit dirty. Also being in a wheelchair, the credit card machine, while I could reach it, because it's stationary it's hard to read the display. Maybe a suggestion to corporate to have these swivel for accessibility.

I've been coming to this pharmacy for vaccinations for years, but this experience was very…read moreunsettling. I made an online appointment two days in advance for my first shingles vaccine. When I arrived and checked in, I clearly stated that I was there for a shingles shot. The pharmacist who prepared the vaccine appeared confused and took an unusually long time, rummaging through the refrigerator as if unsure where things were. Once I was in the room, he asked whether I wanted a COVID shot! I corrected him. At that point, I requested that someone else prepare and administer the vaccine. Another staff member came in with the syringe, and when I asked to see it, I noticed a large air bubble! She took it back to remove the air and told me that the original pharmacist had drawn it up. I regret not leaving at that point. The entire experience left me very uneasy. My arm is not sore at all. Now I find myself questioning what I was actually given. After many years as a customer, I will not be returning.

There are two lanes for dropping off prescriptions and only the close lane to pick up. It's easy to conduct your business in privacy, not that there's anything remotely interesting about my prescriptions. The staff and pharmacists are always helpful and pleasant, and alternate in-store customers and drive-thru pretty evenly. Most times I am the only customer in the drive-thru. No shoes, no shirt, no service? Doesn't apply here. (Although you probably should wear a shirt)
