Fremont Hub CVS - First day, I went to pick up my prescription and I stood in line for 20 mins only for them to tell me to go to another line to resolve an issue with my insurance. I didn't have the time. Second day; I went back. Waited 45 mins in another line only to find out there's nothing wrong with my insurance and to pick up my prescription at the original line I was waiting at the first day, and one prescription wasn't ready. Would take 20 mins. I didn't have time, so I left. 3rd day I waited 25 mins, only for them to tell me that they needed to help a guy that was already waiting there for an hour before me, and the other cashier didn't bother to help me even if I was the next one in line. The staff and service here is beyond awful that I just don't have any words. I can only laugh...and I've worked in customer service and trained customer service people for nearly 10 years. This is the worst experience I've ever had in my entire adult life. And this is why I prefer Kaiser. Their pharmacy's aren't this disorganized or staffed with unfriendly and unhelpful employees. My doctor accidentally sent my prescription to this location and twice they cannot get my medication ready on time and the pharmacist has the nerve to yell when asking for a status. The lame excuse is, it's hard to get your medication... hmmmmm...Even with a week prior to running out, I requested a refill! when I finally got a text that my meds are ready, only to find out when I got to this mess of a store, they decided to send it to another cvs location! Got a message from this pharmacy that there was an issue with my prescription at 10 am, got a text from pharmacy they said they'd contact my physician and get an alternative. 9 hours later. I go. They had never contacted my physician and there was no prescription ready. Now it's Saturday night and at best I will get my prescription Monday evening. Too late and nothing I can do about it. No further follow up, never got my physician. Just left it and I don't get the care I need. Exactly why the system doesn't work. Worst pharmacy and system ever. We went there for passport photo on Saturday, but was turned away by the person behind photo center register claiming they were too busy to take passport photo today. However there were only 2 customers at photo center - one is waiting to pay, another busy at selecting photos. Thats called "busy"?! Had an interesting experience. I called for a certain item, they said they had it. When I got there, they did not. I was so mad. The security guard helped me out and calmed me down. A real people person. When I got home, I realized I had called the wrong one - I called the one by Fremont and Decoto, not the one in the hub. Very disappointed in the condescending tone of the pharmacist I spoke with last night. After a video appointment my doctor sent a refill for pain meds. I went over 2 hours later to pick up but they said they didn't have anything pending. I spoke to the man at the drop off window to ask him to check. He snapped they didn't have it, so i opened the mychart app to see if i'd made a mistake and gone to the wrong location. I asked him to look at my phone to confirm and he laughed at me. So now i'm embarrassed and still don't know how to proceed. I asked if he would call my doctor and he scoffed and said "it doesn't work that way." I am neither doctor nor pharmacist nor insurance guru. I don't know how the "system" works. There is no reason he could not have explained politely, with even the smallest amount of kindness. Pharmacists need to remember that people are there because they quite literally need to be. Licensed physicians have prescribed medications to help those that are sick, in pain or have disease. We do not stand in line for 30 minutes because we hope there is a roller coaster and cotton candy at the end! While I've come to accept that CVS doesn't care, everything is about money, there is no longer "service with a smile," i hope they feel it in their sales calls when the numbers drop. I've been getting all of my pet medications (gabapentin, tramadol, etc) at Costco much cheaper and with amazing, friendly customer service, guess it's time i move the human prescriptions too. What's wrong with our couponing, we have been doing this for a year now! And when we were purchasing the cereals on sale he even said that You have to save some to the community, its as if we r getting alot its just 4 per person! they have a lot of stock means people r not buying them, so why he prevents us from using our coupons to purchase those. I feel terrible for those who do not have the option to go to another pharmacy, thus place is THAT bad. I have waited over an hour to pick up a prescription, only to be told it was not ready and then had to wait an additional hour for it. I have had prescriptions filled multiple times because the pharmacy is so poorly run, they are not aware of what was already dispersed. And let's not talk about the store itself - everything is dirty, especially the carpet and poorly lit. I would give ZERO stars if I could. The company should be ashamed. read more

Honestly you can't really give a great review to a pharmacy, but you also can't give a terrible review to them either. The service is what you expect lines are always going to be long, people always need medication, but the problem I have is their attitudes are so terrible. Occasionally you'll get one or two people that are absolutely sweet hence the three star review, but more often than not the people that I talk to absolutely hate what they're doing or they absolutely hate me. Other than that the prices are reasonable, they deliver as they say they would occasionally it's 10 to 15 minutes longer than anticipated. Went for my booster appointment and all they mentioned in the text was go to pharmacy. So I went to pharmacy and there was no information about booster. I am a person who like to ask around instead of spending my time figuring out. So I asked a cvs employee whole role I didn't quite understand and his answer was "it's a booster so check in pharmacy how am I suppose to know". He could have just said I don't know and I would have been fine with it. Why do you have to spoil my mood by being rude? Anyways CVS booster station is on the left of pharmacy. Please don't waste your time checking with their employees. Again I don't think they care for review. This has to be one of the worst CVS pharmacies I've been to! The staff is super slow to process drop off prescriptions (I had to wait over 20 mins just to do it). Pick up wasn't as bad but I still had to wait a while. They also do not clearly state where people should wait in line to drop off so there were people standing "in line" and demanded to be served first which contributed to the lengthened time the rest of us had to wait. And when I finally got to the window, I needed to repeat myself several times because she could not find me in their system (mind you I use CVS all the time but at another location). All this to prompt a poor review. In light of the pandemic and with the volume of people that they have coming here, one would think that they would find a way to efficiently get patients in and out in a timely manner. read more

What has happened to CVS? Their pharmacy, especially at the Fremont Hub location, is horrible. As of today, medication prescriptions are TEN DAYS behind schedule. I knew they were backed up, so I called last night to request the prescription be expedited but after waiting on hold for 40 minutes, I was disconnected. Today, I went to the pharmacy to request it and they told me it would take around 30 minutes. I came back six hours later and it's still not ready. My son can't sleep and needs medication!! CVS, you need to fix your staffing shortages! Your level of service is pathetic. read more

I was notified that my medication was ready for pick up, I went to pick up my medication after work on Monday September 25th, 2023. When I arrived at 11:37pm, I go to pick up then I'm told a different medication was ready, not the one I requested for. I have been at this location for over a year and all pharmacy people that I get help during the day time at the drop off when I have issues are very helpful with fixing my issues, no problem with them. This is the first time I go to pick up medication after work that late and have medication mixed up, I go to drop off then a rude old lady name Soheila Akbar at the drop off says it not ready when it is. This is the first time I had a rude/unhelpful customer service at the drop off. She gives me a rude attitude asking me if it a new medication when it is not, when I have been picking up from this location for over a year. After that she is rudely explaining to me how my medication works when I already explained to her it is not new and i have been taking the medication for over a year. I'm already aware of how the medication works, I explained it to her again second time to answer the same question two times already. Then I showed her that got a message/notification for pick up is ready text. After that she makes another excuse saying it's too early for refill/pick up and keeps repeating endlessly with the same attitude possible more like threatening attitude if it's a new medication and how my medication works over and over. I have never seen and met a pharmacy worker/person with horrible customer service ever before. Third time she makes another excuse saying my medication needs doctor approval when it been take care of and I'm aware of how refill run, after that she says it need a doctor note with it when I never need it. All I can say is she does not know how to do her job, she has the worst attitude and customer service ever. Unhelpful to customer and will not listen to customer response to questions at all when asked, she doesn't deserve to work there or at any Pharmacy ever. I recommend that she gets fired for her behavior and how her customer service is horrible. I hope management will consider to fire her for these main reasons. read more

If I can give a negative review, I would. Went from Kaiser emergency try to pick some medicine for my kid. They have four people working and nobody wants help any customer. It says it will take 15 to 20 minutes. I waited 45 minutes to get my medication at 11 PM at night. The pharmacist wear bike gloves, leather bike gloves to work I wonder do you think you're Michael Jackson? Are you think you are a biker I don't get that. This is about Dana Point, Golden Lantern location. I was very dsapponyed by the employee who works there. I ordered 4 prints online and about to pick them up at this store. The worker looked for it but didn't find them and told me the orer may have gone to another CVS about 2 miles away. I asked another guy who was called to help me to find out if the order really went to another store by calling on the phone, so I wan't waste driving. He refused. Employees at CVS in general have very bad attitude and this wasn't the first time. They don't seem to have idea that every customers are potentially repeat customers. I wish we had more photo printing place locally. I told the guy I was going to post a review online with bad rating. He didn't seem to care about the online review or Yelp. This is very common response. I doubt the effect of online reviews. The employees don't seem to care and they would tell you they don't. read more

Your medications are never ready when you need them. Even if they text you it's ready. After standing in a long line for 20 minutes they tell you it's not ready and it will be 15 minutes. After waiting 15 minutes. Its still not ready. So total of 60 minutes later it's finally ready. Calling them is useless. I was on hold for 15 minutes and no one answered the phone. I called cVS front office and was on hold for another 10 minutes only to be transferred to the pharmacy where no one answered the phone again. read more

The pharmacist barely speaks English properly. I don't know where these staffs get their professional and/or language training. It was super inconvenient to talk to pharmacist over a phone call, who cannot even pronounce the medication name correctly. They will tell you that your prescription isn't ready at the counter, and you can wait and it will just be 30 minutes while they fill it. After an hour, you walk up to the front to ask the status. Then a lady with meth-face smelling like alcohol will nastily accuse you of cutting the line. So now you call CVS Pharmacy from literally inside the CVS, only to have them tell you one of them has been ready this whole time and the other one is out of stock. Lol. Why did no one notify me as I sat there for an hour. Please hire competent people who can notify customers who specifically said they are going to sit in the waiting area while they fill it. Judging by all of the reviews of CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid in the area, you'd wonder if you can have at least a half-way decent experience at one of the stores around here. The answer is, "It depends," and it sounds like it depends on whether you actually need to use the pharmacy, or if you just want to grab something quickly. My experience with this CVS was the latter. I knew exactly what I wanted, was able to find it relatively quickly, and was out the door in probably 10 minutes flat. Was it an amazing experience? No. Did I get what I needed, and for a reasonable price? Yes. I suppose that's a pretty low bar, but I'm not complaining too much. read more

Terrible service. I spent 20 minutes on hold, not able to get through so I went in, hoping to pick up a prescription called in almost a full week before. My doctor also tried to call for the same prescription, and the pharmacy manager told me that it was her fault she couldn't get through since she didn't respond to their fax. I went into the store and ended up standing in two different lines. At the end of that they still could not fill the prescription that I was previously told they had. SELLS EXPIRED PRODUCTS. Purchased a pack of protein drinks with no intention of returning (so I threw the receipt away). Once I noticed the products were EXPIRED, I hoped I'd be able to at least come in and exchange the drinks for non expired ones. Unfortunately, ALL drinks were EXPIRED. Since I didn't have a receipt (had proof of purchase from my mobile bank app), manager Samantha refused to refund the amount I paid OR the price of the product they had advertised. Instead she decided she could only refund 10$ for a product that was being sold for 12$ before tax. Arguing over 2$ was not worth the time. Do not shop from a company that will desperately hold 2$ of the money you paid instead of providing good customer service for a mistake THEY made. read more

if you are not looking for trouble, DO NOT come to this CVS. Very unprofessional staff, overall unfit to be a neighborhood pharmacy. In two consecutive visits to this pharmacy, the staff showed what it meant to be not caring enough to do their jobs. In the first visit a middle age staff took our insurance information and asked us to come back the next day for pick up. The next we went back and were told that she had forgot about our visit and had to re-do it on the spot, causing us to waste another day in waiting. The second visit a younger staff told us the previous stands didn't enter the prescription into their system. We had to visit the doctor again, re-do the prescription procedure and go to another pharmacy for the medicine.
