Date of visit: 7/27/22 This was the first pharmacy I reached after visiting Fox Point Dental Studio with a prescription for an antibiotic after my dental procedure. I was hoping for a relatively quick in and out experience and I got that for the most part. Kristine at the pharmacy helped me quickly and efficiently, and said it would be about 15 minutes for the 'script to be ready. I'm familiar with that game from Walgreens but since I rarely visit a CVS, I took the opportunity to browse the shelves. As expected, staples such as cereal are marked way up and snack items are competitively priced. I wasn't finished with my wandering when my pills were ready. Checkout was easy, though I was surprised that I wasn't asked if I wanted to talk to the pharmacist at all about the meds. My biggest issue is the large section of the store that was cordoned off with caution tape for apparently a remodel of some sort, but it looked more like the aftermath of the Tazmanian Devil than any kind of reorganization. the worst pharmacy and pharmacy staff. my insurance fired me to switch from Walgreens to CVS. the location was physically a block away, so no problem there. Unfortunately, the pharmacy, staff and pharmacy manager are have horrible customer service and enact single store policies that result in customers not being able to receive their medications. I was on hold/or had to call back for a total of 6 hours to try to have my standard birth control filled. I have finally been able to find another brick and mortar store that is friendly and easy to work with and cares about customers. I have to drive an extra 20 min, but never been happier with this type of decision. If you feel like the pharmacy cvs in fox point treats you like garbage just to get your medications, you are not alone. Make it a point and leave as a customer. read more

Unprofessional and rude pharmacist that filled the wrong prescription and then argued with me about it. Told me "we can't keep track of multiple scripts"....isn't that a pretty basic expectation of a pharmacist?!?! Moving all of our prescriptions elsewhere immediately. read more

5 stars for pharmacy. 1 star for general store. Love the pharmacy people. They will go well out of their way to make sure you get the advice you need. However, the are way understaffed. Wait time is sometimes 10 or more minutes. The general store is also way understaffed. Good people but all but impossible to get help checking out. It's almost: self-checkout or no checkout. And there's no self checkout for some items like stamps. Walgreen's next door is for you if you want an actual person to help you check out. All good people though. There just aren't enough of them. read more

The Pharmacy department is the absolute worst. If I could give them zero stars I would. They are condescending not helpful and argumentative. I am given prescriptions that I'm not reordering and get stuck paying for them. Drugs that should be in according to their app are not in. When I talk to the pharmacist about the problems they will just say call customer support. Good luck with that, where is the customer support number? Seemed to be understaffed. The shelves seem to be consistently under stocked. On several occasions I have had to wait to check out as no one is at the register and then had to go find someone. In their defense I usually go in on weekends which could be a busy time. read more

Amanda in the pharmacy is a LIFESAVER. She was so patient with me, explained why a lot of other locations are having shortage issues for medications I'm that are regularly in high demand and how she had been working hard using a different supply method/schedule available to all CVS pharmacies to get her customers the medications they need. Long story short she was patient, understanding and managed to calm me down... and I started the call an angry b*tch for sure because I was so frustrated with another location and an issue ultimately beyond her control. I'm grateful I was able to meet her and apologize in person because she was truly a gem. Thank you for being amazing. COVID, I get it, we're all coping and dealing with each inconvenience no matter how big or small on a daily basis but just try a little harder to help people. Horrible! They sendt my doc the wrong pre-auth forms, they dont call to tell yiu they screwed up, just wait for yiu to show up and then go home empty handed. Today, rather than go n for a 3rd try, I called....and they tell me they only just sent the right form back to my doctor....over a week after acknowledging they sent the wrong form. And this is for a simple RX, not thank god some life saving drug like insulin. So another week to wait. 25 years, my cvs was the great place on Downer. They went above and beyond, were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Now I've moved t Bayside, and the difference is stark. Here, usually FIVE people behind the pharma counter, five!... but long lines, bad attitude, totally rude and unhelpful. Only one person does register checkout, even f the line is 10 people long. An incredibly rude, unhelpful vibe. Mediocre, sloppy, lackadaisical and uncaring. I'm switching RX to Walgreens. read more

Quite by accident I received the wrong prescription (test strips). I called the pharmacy and was "on hold" for 45 minutes before hanging up. I contacted CVS through instant message on Facebook and explained the situation. They wanted to know my phone number and which pharmacy and someone from that pharmacy would call me. They never called so I tried calling again. This time I was "on hold" for 30 minutes before hanging up. If I could give a 0 rating I would! read more

I have had nothing but problems with this pharmacy. Every time I check on my prescriptions they are not ready, even after two or three days. On one occasion they even gave me someone else's medication. My insurance company dictates using CVS. I have never had this poor of customer service from any other pharmacy I've used. read more

This review actually applies to the entire CVS chain in Milwaukee. I recently had a total knee replacement. I needed to refill my Percocet prescription for my pain. I concluded that the entire CVS chain in Milwaukee was out of Percocet, based upon the EIGHT that I called. When I finally asked one of the pharmacists how this could be, she replied, "Well, we can only order so much in a given month and when it's gone, it's gone. It is near the end of the month, you know." It was January 27th. I agree with Chris F. My company chose CVS/Caremark/Restat as its pharmacy. When you choose the low-bidder, that's exactly the service you get. How many times should you repeat your birthdate for a college educated pharmacist? I did five times in three minutes and they still couldn't find my account/refill. After the third visit with similar BS I decided to go elsewhere even though my health plan only pays for refills at cVS. Terrible pharmacy, got a notification my prescription was ready at 11am. Went in at 2:40pm it was not ready so I waited for 30 min standing there with the staff looking at me like I was crazy asking me if I need something because I was waiting so long. They finally find my prescription in the box that someone had put away. As I was checking out I had to say something about the service. I said waiting here for 30 min while it was in the box ready the whole time is upsetting. The people apologized and I would have felt better. Then the pharmacist yells over the counter as I'm walking away that it was not ready the whole time and she had called my name then someone put it away. She did not call my name as I had been standing there listening for it. She called several other but not mine. Rather than engage this rude pharmacist that yells at customers across counters and stores I walked away. How is it that now I'm being blamed for waiting calmly for 30 min for a item that said it was ready at 11am, and getting yelled at by they people that are there to help me? I'm still upset about it and not ok with how she spoke to me. normally don't write reviews and have I a high tolerance for bad service as I'm in the industry of retail and understand things are not always easy. Hard to imagine a less motivated and competent pharmacy staff. They are confused and defeated by even routine processes. Rarely have refilled prescriptions ready as indicated. Hope this store is the outlier for quality of service. read more

I remember when they retained the pharmacy staff, the staff was over the top with customer service. Lately, there is always someone new. The new staff tries, but just doesn't get it. I have to call my insurance when a medication isn't on the list for my insurance, but my insurance is CVS caremark and told I could just ask my pharmacist. They also do not call me to tell me they can't refill my medication, I just have to find out for my self. My son needed his inhaler. We couldn't get it until I called my doctor for a new prescription that my insurance would take. I don't know my medication and what types there are, so I had to call the insurance company, then tell the MD. I can't even pronounce the medication! I never had to do that before. Isn't the pharmacist the professional?The pharmacy use to do it for me and have it done in a timely manner. Thank goodness I had an extra inhaler I forgot about(which was expired a month before).I am not blaming just one person. I think they are very understaffed. read more

My boyfriend and I come here a lot this situation has not only happened to us once but twice by this lady who is a manager there. She made disgusted faces towards us as we were checking out and sighing very loudly and it was very noticeable to us she was frustrated for some reason and I left very upset and confused to why she was acting that way. The second time we came in was a couple months after that situation and we were just walking around and looking at things that were new in the store we then notice an employee that was cashiering starring at us from outside the registers down the aisle from us and she was just glaring at us as we looked at her she continued to stare, that was absolutely ridiculous for her to do, I work in retail I understand if you see someone suspicious you should watch out but its one thing to keep an eye on someone but its whole other thing if your going to harass and stalk a customer it made me feel very uncomfortable and then grew angry when my boyfriend told me the same lady from the time before told the cashier to watch us and it seemed like they thought we were stealing. I was so shocked by what was happening and switched to a different aisle then to realize this girl has followed us and is watching over our shoulders she was less than 2ft away from us! It was the craziest thing ever! I then put my items back and left the store. I never write reviews or complaints but this one I feel like needs to be shared. The service at this pharmacy location is awful! They continually fail to fill prescriptions by the time and date promised, and also fail to fix the problem when you show up in store to pick up your refill. More than once I waited a half hour for a prescription refill that was supposed to have been ready, and walked out without my refill. The store manager also failed to call me back when I asked for a call-back to report the problem (as has CVS customer customer headquarters). read more
