I'm very disappointed with the customer service at the CVS Pharmacy drive-thru on William S Canning Blvd in Fall River (near Market Basket). I arrived before 1:30 PM, knowing they close for lunch at that time. I was in line behind two cars and waited patiently. By the time I pulled up to the window, the staff saw me there and still closed the window on me without any acknowledgment. I understand lunch breaks are important, and they do have the hours posted -- but it's not the customer's fault when previous transactions take longer. If someone is already waiting in line before closing time, they should be helped or at least communicated with. This was frustrating and felt dismissive. I hope they handle situations like this with more courtesy in the future. read more

The retail section is fine, but the Pharmacy Sucks! This past year I changed my insurance and have had nothing but issues. First they couldn't get the insurance for my daughter right. They send me to the Tiverton location. At first I thought that it wasn't in stock at this store, but to find out they never processed her insurance right. I had issues getting her prescription at the Tiverton location, but thats another story. After going out of my way, jumping threw hoops and getting rudely treated, I ended up getting her prescription at Walgreens. Recently I went to pick my prescription, after 20 robocalls to remind me. When I went to pick it up, it was for a three month supply. I did not ask for a Three month supply and told them to do a one month supply. They told me it would take a half hour to fill and would be $59.00 dollars more than what I would normally pay. That's 50% more than what I normally pay, talk about price gouging. I ended up going to another pharmacy where I pay a little more than what I was paying at CVS, but No where near $59.00. They do not communicate with their customers. They just automatically do things without any notice. The robocalls to remind you are a total pain. I constantly tell them I don't want to be reminded and they keep doing it. Also, l have told them numerous times not to automatically fill my prescription, but they still do. I am totally done with this garbage pharmacy. Don't bother with CVS, go to Walgreens, Stop and Shop or an independent pharmacy of your choosing. read more

Cvs has got to be the WORST pharmacy in the country. They ALWAYS screw up my precipitation. ( I have to go here cause Walgreens no longer carries it and ther are no others in my area). Also whwn you come to pixk up yoir precipitation there is only one person working the register. The line is usually on average 9 people or more deep. This store is literally horrible. The person managing this pharmacy needs to be FIRED!!! read more

Doesn't deserve a full star.Worst CVS ever. The pharmacy needs to get their stuff together. Been waiting a half hour in line just to see the worker walk away. Barely workers on the floor especially at the registers. Even though it's self checkout but we all know how those work.. This is a great CVS. I always walk in and do my prescriptions that way. I do not recommend the drive thru if you're in a hurry because people wait in their cars and don't move for 10 minutes until they get their medicine. It's clean inside and there's a ton of stuff to look at. You never get tired of looking and there's always something new in the candy aisle or decor aisle. They also have a freezer with ice cream and food! Great place! read more

While I'm not always so crazy about CVS, I'm giving this location 5 stars based off of other CVS locations (not based off of other retailers). This store is new, clean, and bright. Products are easily and readily available. What really stood out to me today was that there was only one cashier on but her customer service was so genuine and kind that it didn't bother anyone to wait in line. 2 customers in front of me was an elderly woman with coupons, she treated her with such kindness and care. The woman in front of me was the same situation. And then when it got to me, it was no different. I also had a few coupons to use. She was so sweet and helpful! Great job at this location and great job with this employee! I wish I had gotten her name because she deserves recognition! read more

I thought walgreens was bad because of the wait time. At least I got my medications correctly every month! CVS takes the cake! Rude incompetent staff! That can't get anything right! Refuses to give me my medications. That Doctors have prescribed me. The Doctor asked CVS to call them. They refused to call them! And she needs to be fired! Makes everything so difficult. Charges me for medications I haven't taken in years! What if it was an elderly person who trusted the pharmacy to do their jobs correctly & took the medications! Treat people the way you want to be treated! Provide service as is it was a loved one! Cause they wouldn't like anyone doing this to their loved one's fighting cancer! They STRESS you the hell out! I dread having to call them! When I have no co-pays anywhere else. But being charged only at CVS! I gave them 2 months to get their act together. And 2 months later still screwing everything up constantly! They have no business dealing with people who need their mediations. I have not taken my medications properly because of CVS's Staff incompetence. Talking to Mgr. doesn't help! You call them in advance to make sure you're not wasting your time. They say yes everything is all set! Get to drive thru and you get medications you haven't taken in years! And get charged for it to boot! ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE PHARMACY IN HISTORY! Worst cvs ever literally shouldn't even give them one star. The pharmacy department is not only disorganized but they have no clue what they are talking about. I can say thy for sure because they keep trying to talk about sulfa face wash confusing it for bactrim-ds a sulfa antibiotic. Honestly if Walgreens still accepted my type of insurance I would make it work with their awful hours , to not have to deal with the incompetence of the this cvs. They are not girl in the drive through was young, confused, and very rude. This pharmacy couldn't possibly be more disorganized. Be prepared to call your doctor and have them correct issues and make several trips back and forth. This the the 3rd time that I have had to jump through hoops to get them to do things right. The people who work the pharmacy are always SUPER pleasant and very apologetic so if you have plenty of spare time and are the friendly type this is your place...... if you need it done right the first time try elsewhere. read more

If I could give a half star, I would not. I have always had pleasant shopping experiences at CVS stores. Now that I am starting to figure out how to get the best value for my buck, excuse me if I don't navigate the emails I receive for deals. If I have a question, they are more than happy to assist me. Not! This CVS Pharmacy at William S Canning was horrible. I spent a couple hours at least trying to get the deals shown on the email I received. Mike, the night manager (he says, I guess, I'm here) needs to learn a lot in CSI ratings, even if it doesn't affect bonuses and such. I'm old school, but this guy couldn't get me out of there fast enough. He kept saying there's nothing he can do about what the sale items show and what it rings up as. I could write another lengthy review but I'm not in the habit of doing so, especially if it's a bad one. I really felt bad for the young lady at the register, when he took over, was curt and rude. I will say no more than, Mike, you do not argue with the customer the way you do. It actually affected everyone at check out. Anyway, after all was said and done, my merchandise rang up to under $40 as opposed to the original $72 they expected me to pay. Have a good life Mike I do apologize for the inconvenience I caused the other patrons in the store. You really can teach old dogs new tricks, with exception of course. read more
