I recently visited the CVS in Dixon while trying to find medication for a bad headache. I wasn't feeling well at all, but I want to say that every employee I spoke to was extremely helpful, kind, and patient. They honestly made my day a lot better. Because of that, I wanted to speak with a manager to let them know how great their team was. Unfortunately, that experience was completely different. The manager, Viviana, took a long time to come out, and when she did, she immediately said she was "way too busy to talk and deal with me." When she finally approached me, her attitude was annoyed and unprofessional. As someone who is a manager myself, I found this really disappointing. Great employees deserve recognition, and it shouldn't be treated as an inconvenience when a customer wants to give positive feedback. I hope CVS takes a closer look at how management interacts with customers, because the staff on the floor truly deserve better support and appreciation. read more

CVS in general has relatively high prices. The Dixon store has spotty product stocking: Often there is either nothing on the shelf, only expired products, or if they've got a 2 for 1 offer advertised there is not enough stock on hand to take advantage of the offer. Sad to say, I often don't bother going there and just go somewhere else, instead. read more

I finally just fell asleep on a Saturday afternoon because my husband is home the watch our daughter, and CVS called, waking me up, to harass me about getting a COVID shot. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been too, I have had numerous times where they have notified me my medicine is ready for me to show up and they deny they even got the prescription. I have had times where I go the next day and they tell me they called the doctor to confirm my medication and never follow up on it with my doctor. They are clueless and waste your time. read more

Can't expect too much from this location. Too many other options nearby and I think this place, like many other CVS locations, is being kept running by the pharmacy. Lots of dated merchandise and prices to match the duration of stay for each item. Paid a little over seven bucks (silly taxes, roads are for drivers!) for a ream of paper. It was convenient, as I didn't have to brave the madness of the Walmart down the street but dang that's some coin for some paper. Coulda had that ish Amazoned to my front door for less. But I wanted it within the hour, hence this visit. read more

I love the CVS in Dixon! The staff is so nice and the service is great! Today I had another amazing experience! Sheena rang up all my items and completed my transaction when I realized I failed to transfer discounts to my Extra Care Savings Card. She was so patient and understanding when she refunded the original purchase and processed a new transaction. The manager on duty kindly serviced other customers while Sheena focused on me. AVOID this pharmacy! The pharmacist here does not know how to count! They gave me half of my supply so I had to went back and the pharmacist kept saying that she put the correct amount of supplies. I confirmed whether this medicine was brand name, and they told me yes but I found out they gave me generic after I return home. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I've been going to this pharmacy for about 6 years now and it has continually gotten worse over the course of time. Ever since Covid hit 2 years ago, their customer service became absolute crap. They don't answer their phone (like NEVER), and they're rude. Forget about getting any prescription filled in a timely fashion or without some kind of issue. It literally takes 4-5 days for them to fill any prescription they get from a doctor. Most other pharmacies I have been to fill within a day or two at most. Today was the last straw when again, I tried calling the pharmacy to find out the status of my son's new prescription (which was sent to them 4 days ago) and they wouldn't answer their phone. I called 4 times within an hour, was put on hold by an automated system, waited 10 minutes each time and they never answered once. I decided to show up to the pharmacy and there are 4 women working back there which is ample enough people for someone to answer the phone! I find out that they have not filled my son's prescription which they've had for 4 days now. I've been dealing with this b.s. for two years now and enough is enough. I walked out and I'm transferring all my prescriptions to another pharmacy. I will never step foot into that CVS again. read more

The pharmacist & pharmacy staff are the best out of every cvs I've used. I moved away but still use them. The Customer service they provide me is consistently excellent even with my crappie insurance. They really care about people's health & do the best they can as efficiently as possible. I was hoping to have a good small town drug store experience being that Dixon is a smaller town/city and the majority of my experience in this town has been exactly that good customer service. Since I just moved to town I was hoping to transfer all my medications over and be able to take care of household stuff like photo's, cleaning supplies and household items. I was sorely disappointed I make my boyfriend go in, the service is terrible and has been with every phone conversation. The store setup and options was nice and very reminiscent of my childhood Thrifty's but bad service can sour even good memories. I refuse to go in there now. read more

Avoid this place! Sold me expired vitamins. When I returned them the ones I wanted, that was supposed to be buy one get one free. The manager said it was not on sale. How should I start this...hmm okay let's start with the two women better yet the Asian lady who does the pills behind the counter RUDE RUDE RUDE!! Worst customer service I've seen in a long while. It's small, but it has many things.. cosmetics, medication, sweets, etc.... the employees are very nice, polite and offer good service. Also, it has a Red Box outside the store (which is very convenient) and you don't have to go that far if you want yo rent a movie. read more
