He was not a morning person I had to the freezers in the back to grab a Starbucks iced coffee and a bottled water. I looked over my shoulder to see if he was going to say good morning or if he was just watching me as if I was going to steal something. I brought my items to the front for immediately and kept the smile on my face so that I could be completely disarm to let him know that I was an actual friendly person. ***That absolutely made no difference*** He asked me if that was all in a very thick accent with a very abrasive tone. The resolution is so low on your machine it makes it hardly legible and I have to be able to see the amount that I'm paying. YOU PAY AND LEAVE! I was so disheveled. I felt so attacked. The Chevron in Dixon on West A Street near the I-80 ramps. As drivers, we make 100's of decisions as we drive. Should I change lanes? What music to listen to? And.....do I have enough gas to get home? This Chevron sits right next to the freeway. As I'm about to pass it, I make the decision to pull in and get gas.....even though it's not the cheapest gas. Fill up the tank, and one less thing to worry about. The station is fairly spacious, with a broken pump. I didn't use the restrooms, so I can't comment on those. The foodmart seems overstocked and cluttered. There's a huge banner telling you they sell liquor. The clerk wasn't very talkative, so just pay and leave. On Jan 20, 2022, UL Reg was $4.73. The listed prices per gallon that day were $3.699 regular, $3.899 plus, $3.999 supreme, $3.999 diesel. Their sign says cash prices, so not sure if you pay more by credit card. Judging from past photos, I think CC prices are $0.10 more per gallon? Getting gas was quick and easy. The roomie even stopped by their convenience store to buy a Lottery ticket since Mega Miliions was over $1 billion. Too bad we didn't win, but we had to try! Older Indian man working the register is very rude. The pump had an error and didn't recognize that I removed my credit card when it told me to remove the card. So it was stuck in a loop of "remove card please" when I reported it to him so he could reset the pump he accused me of hitting all the wrong buttons. Like what buttons can I press for it to stay in a continuous loop of "please remove card". He continued to be rude while I was trying to purchase other items in the store kept telling me to come to his register now and I had to tell him to leave me alone while I shopped. read more

As I recall, regular gas on July 25 was $4.29 and Plus was $4.49/gal, but I used two Safeway 10-cent rewards to bring the Plus down to $4.29. That's the price the pump said I was getting. However, it then said I had to go inside to get the receipt. Who does that? The old man was back in the office as usual but finally got me the receipt.
