That place was out of milk and I have never found this place to be out. Also, I've heard that since 7-11 does so much volume that their dairy stock rotates with great frequency so it's generally pretty fresh. Looks like they have a 'redbox' movie rental machine out front. They sell California lottery tickets inside if you want to throw a little cash down the toilet. :-) Scratchers too. No bicycle rack, as most drive here. You can lock up to the signs near the street. Stop by on 7-11 day for a Slurpee and use your phone to pay to avoid being skimmed.

Because of that, I wanted to speak with a manager to let them know how great their team was. Unfortunately, that experience was completely different. The manager, Viviana, took a long time to come out, and when she did, she immediately said she was "way too busy to talk and deal with me." When she finally approached me, her attitude was annoyed and unprofessional. As someone who is a manager myself, I found this really disappointing. Great employees deserve recognition, and it shouldn't be treated as an inconvenience when a customer wants to give positive feedback. I hope CVS takes a closer look at how management interacts with customers, because the staff on the floor truly deserve better support and appreciation.

When I came back, the employee told me I still needed to pay. I checked my account, and the money had already been taken out. The manager came over and said there was an issue with Apple Pay and that they would refund the money. Refund me the money? So I left with no balloons, no cake, and no certainty that I would actually get my money back. What a joke. I will definitely think twice before coming back. You have terrible customer service and employees who clearly need better training. It's not about the money but how you made me feel.

The roommate and I dropped by on Sunday, October 21st around 5:15pm. I walked into their convenience store and grabbed two orders of their Crunchy Chicken ($4.79 each) and a Diet Pepsi ($1.99). The cashier was super nice. Tried to pick out the better pieces of chicken for me since there wasn't much left. I thought about passing on the chicken since there was only a small amount of wings left, but since we stopped specifically for this, I had to try it. The chicken was good and definite crispy, but super salty. Not a reflection on this gas station stop, but just a note if you are stopping specifically for chicken. Maybe coming earlier int he day is better. As a gas station, this place is huge and feels like a truck stop. Plenty of room for big rigs and such to get gas. I imagine this type of gas station in the middle of nowhere along some kind of trucking route. The roommate is a little bit of a brand wh*re when it comes to gas, so we went across the freeway and filled up at another more commercial station. Not a bad gas station to fill up if you drive a huge truck. There's plenty of room for whatever large tractor trailer, etc, you may have.

He was not a morning person I had to the freezers in the back to grab a Starbucks iced coffee and a bottled water. I looked over my shoulder to see if he was going to say good morning or if he was just watching me as if I was going to steal something. And of course he was watching to see if I was going to steal something. I brought my items to the front for immediately and kept the smile on my face so that I could be completely disarm to let him know that I was an actual friendly person. ***That absolutely made no difference*** He asked me if that was all in a very thick accent with a very abrasive tone. Like I was getting on his nerves or something by just being alive I said this will be all thank you very much. He screamed, YOU PAY! He practically startled the wig off my head. I immediately grabbed my credit card and swiped it on the machine at the register. It did nothing. No beep or anything so I gently leaned in because I am only 5 feet tall it and adjust the monitor toward me so that I can make sure that I did it correctly. He screamed again YOU DONT TOUCH! With an even louder voice. I stammered, I'm sorry but I couldn't read it. He insulted me instantly and started yelling again IT NOT MY FAULT YOU CAN NO READ!! .. and I said wait a minute, I can read. The resolution is so low on your machine it makes it hardly legible and I have to be able to see the amount that I'm paying. YOU PAY AND LEAVE! I was so disheveled. I felt so attacked.
