This gas station sucks, once again on break worker has set it for over an hour, I know for a fact they don't get breaks for this long and they aren't supposed to actually close at all but they can't find enough staff to cover shifts. I get it but don't claim to be 24 hours. Lots of people waiting and been more than 15 minutes. Definitely reporting this one to corporate. Hope they close it and turn it into an arco or chevron at least they open and close on time. Funny how they hire completely incompetent people that can't tell time and obviously corporate is to cheap to hire full staff and asks the employees to sign away their lunch on the regular. Sunday 4/10/22, morning 7:50am. Worker doesn't seem to know how to operate the register. Been a month now her excuse is that it is not that easy to fix the deals. And that she claims that she knows her job lol. Apparently you don't, other workers their know how to go about and fix the problem. And she says that I am at a gas station what do I expect from it, was she implying that the place that she is working is crap? She has major Attitude problems. This place is in our neighborhood and I've been going here for years. Always busy, it's safe day or night. Odd experience today though as I went to fill up and clean the windshield. The card reader was our of order, trash was overflowing and all but one of the wiper buckets were empty. The one that had liquid in it only had water that reeked of dead bugs and bird poop. After trying to clean the windshield the best I could with that set up, I went to sanitize my hands and all of the sanitizers were empty. C'mon man, if someone is there to give you business could you at the very least have your card reader in working order, empty the trash, fill the windshield cleaning and sanitizing stations? read more

For the last several months, we have tried to go to this gas station for drinks and snacks, but the overwhelming majority of the time, it has been closed with a "be back soon" sign. For the few times it was open, seemingly none of their coffee machines functioned properly. One time I went to get iced coffee, but the machine was clearly out and spewing out water. Upon telling the worker at the time, I was told "it's supposed to look like that." I finally convinced her to check, and only then did she realize the coffee was out. read more

As the duke of Circle K, here goes my review. This gas station is straight up the bomb. One of my favorite gas stations ever. They provide high quality gas at a below market price. I drive a nice cadillac coupe, and I will only feed it with quality fuel. I've came here at least a dozen times, and my car runs smooth without issue after getting its pump on. I'm a seasoned veteran at this Circle K, therefore I'm legit and their gas is legit. Let me mention the WHY i love this place. Gas is ALWAYS 20-30 cents below market price. Do they charge a 10 cent fee per gallon for using credit card? NO. In a world where every gas station nowadays charges extra on the gallon for credit card, this circle K does not. I just had to make note of that. Protip. They don't even ask you for your zip code for verification. You just slide your card in there, and your pump on. This place is 24/7, yep ya heard me. Even on the inside it's open 24/7. Also, this store has an amazing candy selection, literally everything sweet you can think of. I think no one really knows about this place because it's on the outskirts of Davis. You would almost have to get lost in Davis to find this place. Maybe if you were going to Woodland through side streets you would find this gas station, but then again who goes to Woodland? Dear Circle K, can we be friends forever? When you gotta go, you gotta go. I was most recently taking a less congested route (other than I-80E through Davis on Friday @ 4pm). The routes is a bit longer but you don't have the stop go, stop go, left lane completely stopped (can anyone tell me how the lane with no obstructions comes to a complete stop and the lane with the freeway on/off ramps just keeps moving at a slow but steady speed?). Anyway, I digress, back on track. After driving this back route on the particular section where there's nothing but farmland, I got the sudden urge like I was about to pee my pants. I was trying to think last time I took this route there was a gas station somewhere near this area. Yes, right up ahead. I'm saved! Then it all came to a crashing halt. I still have my work badge that clearly displays RN and I've got on scrubs. As I walk in the door, the cashier just eyeballs me from head to toe like what are "you" doing coming in "our" store. I gotta go so bad I over look this (but it was the premise for this entire review) and ask if there's a public restroom. Then customer "Mary Lou" looks over the shelf at me like "what are you doing in here?" along with mouth agape like either she didn't believe my badge credentials or I had just stepped back into 1950 and entered the store through "wrong" door. I repeat "Is there a public restroom that I can use?" Again, I explain my plight (coming from Oakland to Sac, didn't have to go until right now) and the cashier says "NO, there's no restroom for the public and you can't use ours". Ooooooook, since you don't have a "public" restroom and even though this is an emergency, I can't use "your" bathroom. Yet, this clearly is a service station where you would expect to find such things as a bathroom. So, I ask, where is the next available? Do you know this "person" gave me directions to a another gas station and a Starbucks about a 1/4 mile or so away! After I did what I did (won't incriminate myself), the only solace I had was the fact that I know Karma will exact her retribution on both of these "people" for being so mean and hateful. I will never patronize this store again, no matter how many times I take that route. read more

Cheap gas, ICEE's and movies all in one! If you want cheap gas and dont want to pay a surcharge for using a credit card (ARCO), come to circle K!! I always come here to fill up my tank and feel that they are one of the cheapest gas stations in Davis. Sodas and ICEE's are $0.89 regardless of the size you get. The cashiers always try to convince you to get the biggest size since its more for your buck (literally a buck). With the Davis heat, heck might as well get the large! They also have a red box here. The red box more than often, has some problem (cant turn in movie, cant read the credit card). However if you come on a good day, then you can get your movie, gas, and soda all in one stop, at good prices! read more

Circle K consistently has the cheapest gas in Davis. Convenient for those living in West Davis or passing through west Davis to/from Winters. I love this station because they don't charge different prices for cash vs. credit/debit purchases - the price you see on the sign is the price you pay. They also have a Red Box on site for cheap video rentals and a car wash is located right behind the station. read more

I know some people are going "why the heck review a Circle K? It's just a gas station!" Well, I think this is one of the better ones in Davis. Yes, the pumps feel a little old, and I'm always a little afraid they're just gonna clunk out while I'm using it. I do appreciate that they take Credit and don't charge like AMPM does. The gas prices are also pretty competitive. But what really shines is the convenience store. The staff are always so friendly when I go in, and that's a big plus in my book at a gas station, where you don't expect the clerk to care how your day is. Also hands down the best place to walk to in West Davis late at night drunk and grab some munchies, or even a surprisingly cheap place to run to early in the night and grab a 30-pack. BE CAREFUL OF THE FOOD!!! This Circle K is the worst gas station as far as social responsibility. They may have cheap gas but BE CAREFUL of the FOOD. My child and her friend went there around Christmas time to buy some candy. They brought it home and after biting into the Hershey bar realized that there was something wrong with it. Turns out it was over 2 YEARS old - in fact, October 2010 to be precise was the expiration date. I went back there a few days later and complained. I was told that the manager would call me - gave her my phone # of course. 2 weeks later NO CALL. I went back and saw Eriak (nice young lady). I looked at the Hershey bars again and found ANOTHER one on TOP of the stack with an expiration date of 11/2011 - now that is over ONE year old. So, I again asked the manger to call me. Fast forward to January 2013. I go back and tell them I'd like a call from the manager. They took my name and number again - surprised - no call from the manager? I go to abroad for 10 days and come back - now it's January 16th. Once again STILL no call from the manager - I leave my name and number once again. Fast forward one more time - January 20th or so. I'm advised SURELY the manager will call me to apologize or something. Today is January 26th - NO CALL TO DATE. I will now complain to the Better Business Bureau. Someone can probably get awfully sick from something in that Food Mart! read more

I pretty much only come here to get gas as it is the cheapest gas in the area and they allow you to use your credit card without charging extra for the gas. It's usually empty so you don't have to wait long to fill up which is a major plus. It is very close to the highway which is convenient because I usually need to make a quick pit stop to get gas before heading out. read more

The Red Box rocks, the staff is always friendly, and it's the cheapest non-Arco gas in town! Definitely my go-to. It's also very easy to get in and out of, which is more than I can say for any of the other gas stations in town. read more

Would always go to Circle K due to its close proximity to my apartment, and I have to say I miss living so close to a gas station! Service is always friendly, and they are open 24 hours on the inside (not sure if all gas stations are..??). Would usually get a slurpee or fountain drink on a hot summer day. What else can you say about a gas station? Gas prices fluctuated. Takes credit and debit cards and cash. Has 4 gas pumps. Has a Redbox movie kiosk (a plus!) In a nice neighborhood, probably a weird place for a gas station if you really think about it's surroundings, but it sure is convenient there. read more
