I absolutely get my gas here all the time. The prices are hands-down some of the best around -- honestly cheaper than Costco most of the time. Woodland doesn't really have that many great places to choose from but I highly recommend this place. The employees are always so kind and friendly, especially Beth. Every time I go in, I ask if she's there because she always greets me with the biggest smile and is genuinely so sweet. I was having a really bad day once when I stopped in, and Beth was one of the kindest people I had met in a long time. Since then, I've looked forward to seeing her every visit. The compassion and friendliness from the staff here really stand out. The station itself can be a little small and hectic to get in and out of, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5, but it's absolutely worth it for the prices and the atmosphere inside. I'm so upset right now, I can't believe what just happened to me in this store. My husband and I went to this quick stop to get gas and then after, we went into the store to get some drinks. I had my dog with me, who is a service dog. As I walked in, the man working there said to me, "Hey you can't have that dog in here." I turned to him with a smile and said, "Oh she's a service dog." Because I understand that they have the right to ASK me if she is a service dog. He then proceeded to say where is her tag? I said she is a service dog, and by California Law you are only allowed to ask me, 1) if she is a service dog. 2) what her service to me is. And she is a service dog, and she provides me with anxiety support. He then had me come around the side to show me a piece of paper that says that service animals are permitted in the store. I read the sign aloud to him, because I genuinely assumed he may not read English since he thought it said she had to have documents. And again he told me to get out of the store. I started getting anxious (hence the anxiety support dog!) and continued telling him that I would report him to the better business bureau and to Yelp and he told me and my husband to get the hell out! I almost in tears, left and went to Chevron where we were welcomed to come in and the clerk there, even consoled me for what had happened. To Taylor M: The national Registry for service animals highly recommends putting the tag on ur service animal so that those types of situations are easily avoided and as a person who feels they require emotional support to buy a couple of sodas at a gas station (where other ppl are a little ANXIOUS about getting dog hair/dander/fleas etc. near the food and beverages in the store that they are about to purchase), I would think you would be more than willing to have proof readily available to avoid causing urself a nervous breakdown/panic attack/conniption fit everytime u need to make public purchases..... and want to bring ur pet inside with you like the rest of the wannabe paris Hiltons out there! read more

I was in a hurry, grabbing coffee on my way to work. I didn't really have time to make my coffee there, so I grabbed a couple creamers and a sugar and went to pay. The owner tried to charge me more than a dollar extra because I didn't put the creamers in my coffee before I left the store. I tried to explain and even show him that I just didn't have time to put them in right then, he wouldn't budge. His reply... "I'd go out of business if I let people take creamer for free." So I left both coffee and creamers on his counter and left. I will never go back to that store again. read more

Fill up here all of the time because it is one of the cheapest gas stations on this side of town and it accepts credit cards. There are frequent challenges, however. Everyone else knows about the good prices here so there are waiting lines in front of the 4 pumps many times during the day. Also, the receipt part of the machine does not always work and the numbers on the pump to enter your information are so worn, you must enter the numbers slowly and deliberately. If you like being treated like a shoplifter go here!!! The gas prices are low so that's the only star. You usually have to wait for a pump and the person you're waiting behind usually takes their sweet ass time. So when my car was filling up I went into the convenience store to get a smartwater and a vuse refill. I was looking at some of the protein and energy bars as well to see what ingredients were in them and after judging that they were all pretty unhealthy I put them back. When the cashier was ringing up my stuff he kept saying "are you sure you don't want any candy or anything from over back there? Because I saw you over there looking at the stuff." It's hard to explain but the way he said it was in a very clear way implying that I stole something from that back section. I know this because I used to work at a pharmacy and since we weren't legally allowed to "call out" shoplifters we had to use these sly little tricks to deter shoplifting (when we KNEW we hand a shoplifter on our hands, not when we wanted to profile someone for the frank of it). read more

RUDE Very RUDE Owners and employes you say thank you they dont awnser you. One time shel gave me my change fo a $50 back and did not count it back so i started to count the money in front of her. When i was done and looks could kill. Aparentley you are suppose to trust the change they give you . Also dirty outside and lots of loitering and drinking. read more

I stopped here because I was in Woodland for an hour or two but live 27 miles away and I had a $20 winning Lottery Scratcher I wanted to redeem. They ran the ticket thru their Lottery machine and acted like it was out of order. No problem, I took the ticket back and left. When I got back to Citrus Heights I stopped at a 7-Eleven to redeem the same ticket but was told after he inserted it in his Lottery machine that it came back as having already been paid! Obviously I was very upset because I don't get to Woodland that often and the distance was 54 miles, round trip. Will definitely be contacting CA Lottery and reporting this! I'll never do business with this store again! read more
