I always come here when I am missing one vital ingredient in whatever I'm making, whether that be Japanese Vietnamese, Korean or Chinese food. I'm really grateful that they have some fresh herbs and vegetables too if needed as well as a variety of Asian sauces, noodles and grains. They also have a decent collection of instant noodles and frozen food as well. Obviously, it's not stocked like your massive Asian superstore like H Mart, but it has all the essentials you need when you need a few things here and there and you're not looking to do a huge grocery haul. I've also picked up some of the prepared foods inside dishes here. The kimbap is all right, not huge portions, but is a good snack size. The tteokbokki is just OK in my opinion. I found the side dishes in the marinated meats to be really good though, if you're planning to do a KBBQ at home situation. The staff is always really friendly and prompt and the story is clean and pretty well organized. No boxes on the ground, which is nice.

I had to sign up for a "loop card" which there are not many around my home area (boo) but that was the only way for me to get the cheaper prices. I didn't see on the sign if it said "must have loop card" or whatever, but if there was, I would like to be slapped in the face with it so I don't get blind sided with the prices. I only caught it when I asked the cashier if I got the cheaper prices, I could have fueled up with full gas prices and also pay for a car wash. Now when you do sign up you get enough points to have a 3$ car wash. So that was a plus, cheap wash and cheaper gas, count me in. The assistant manager was really helpful (Asian male with glasses). He's probably a college student, but he was able to guide me through their sign up process (it's on a tablet thing), and told me I already get points for signing up. He totally knew what a drag it was to NEED to sign up for a member ship for better prices, but rules are rules you know? Advice: give that guy a pay raise, cause if he didn't tell me that I had points already, I would be super upset going through the sign up process. Also put a sigh by the membership terminal with something like " to get cheaper prices with car wash, loop card is needed, sign up for free here" would be good.

However, when I went to their ATM to get cash, my ATM card got stuck in the reader, I guess my nails were a little too long to retrieve it. I literally almost screamed for help, but I didn't scream in a panic lol a very nice gentleman Jose, who works there heard me and came to my rescue. Not only did he help me get my card out. He waited patiently for my transaction to complete. He then asked me, was there anything else that I needed? I replied no, but I truly appreciate you so much for helping me. He replied, you're welcome and it was my pleasure. Little things like that make a huge difference and the fact that he went above and beyond and was so patient with me along with providing great customer service Meant the world to me. I've been to that gas station many times on my commute out to the Bay Area over the years and I've never went inside except for that day, but I'm glad that I did. By the way, it was super clean and neat inside and items were easy to locate
