I went into this Walgreens to pick up EMERGENCY Diabetic meds as my GL spiked, plus it was hot…read moreoutside. Was having a ned emergency including headaches and loss of vision. I WAS TREATED AS AN UNLIMITED ATM. Finally got the Novalog, however was unable to get the needed needles to inject the life saving insulin. 1 week later, Zero followup from Wallgreens. Oh did I mention I was told to come back in 1-2 hours since they was going to lunch? I remember Walgreens "lunch counter" getting shakes and Icecream. Today's mentality is Walgreens take your and your insurance's money, then you get attitude of how the patient should be thankful we are allowed to shop there. I have tons to say. So much so that I'm not opposed to drop in to check on a prescription even if I haven't received notice. Parking can be precarious but I park in the back and walk around, so much less anxiety. Easy.

The chairs by the waiting area in the pharmacy are just...oof...they're in rough shape. Look. I really don't care but I can't ignore that even a simple wipe down of the pharmacist's cash register would at least clean that area up immensely.

I always come here for medications, and to gran random essentials that I need. Sometimes it's NiQuil, Vitamin C, various vitamins or sunblock. I think I grabbed nail polish last time. I asked for the manager and I said "do you see a problem here?" and manager says " no I have no idea about any problem " and I said "how about the long line why don't you hire more people to staff the store to increase your customer satisfaction? " I said it was unacceptable and he just shook his head and smiled at me. I miss the Rite Aid stores. The service was better. CVS is cheap on investing in the proper labor. Before waiting in line for checkout with the cashier, I tried the automated checkout. I was actually trying to give CVS more business, and I had more purchases than would fit on their tiny little automated checkout counter. The cheap paper bags fell on the floor and broke so I said " I don't want all of these things. I just have to buy one medical supply for my daughter" that put me in the 20 line purgatory behind all the people. All the manager could say is why don't you use our automated checkout? I tried to explain to him why the automated checkout did not work mind you I have a computer science degree this is not user error. This is incompetence understaffing, and no understanding of customer satisfaction.

In addition, I could receive the bars the same day w/ free delivery. I ended up liking the bars and will buy more. Nonetheless, I will buy them from Walmart bc the price is cheaper vs Amazon, and Walmart offers the bars in smaller packs.

Just a heads up, the pharmacy closes from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm for lunch. I didn't know this and showed up around 1:29pm , and they still closed the window, so I ended up waiting about 30 minutes. It would've been nice to know ahead of time.
