I went for the first time to pick up my medication. The middle-aged assistant, Latina-looking was so impatient with me. I really wish I caught her name. When she asked my name, I told her and had to repeat myself, which was fine, but the look on her face was already of irritation. When she asked my date of birth, the irritation was heard in her voice. Lady, you shouldn't be having this job if you're irritated easily. Then, as I was inputting my phone number for the CVS awards, she literally cut me off, mid-input! I was annoyed with her by this point, so I just let it go. Maybe she was just having a bad day. Maybe it's time for her to retire. Next time, if I see her at the window, I'll be sure to be extra nice to see how she acts then.

I had an appointment for a quick procedure at the CVS Minute Clinic. I had done my research…read morebeforehand and booked the appointment online. I arrived 40 minutes early. The cell service in the waiting room was poor, so I couldn't fully check in through the CVS website. I ended up using the kiosk instead. I was called back right on time. When I met with the provider, they told me they didn't actually have the treatment in stock. They explained that the product expires too quickly and that it's rarely requested, so they don't keep it on hand. The appointment was canceled, and I was advised to buy what I needed over the counter.I checked the price of the products on the shelf at CVS and it seemed fairly expensive. I then looked it up on Walmart's website and saw it was roughly half the price. Since no procedure was performed and I didn't need to buy anything there, I used the Walmart app to order what I needed with free delivery.

This morning at 7:30 I came to the Walgreens to get some items and both doors were closed. I made eye contact with one of the store associates at the register and instead of acknowledging me, he looked back down. I knocked on the door and he just shook his head at me, indicating he wouldn't be opening the doors. I took a picture of the hours on the window and that prompted him to come outside. He informed me they had had a power outage and were attempting to get the registers back up and working. Understandable. I said thanks and walked back to my car, only to watch more customers do exactly what I had just done and stand by the doors that didn't open. What does it take to write on a piece of paper that the store is currently closed due to a power outage and put it up on the doors? Lights are on, employees are in there staring at you through closed doors.... This place is mismanaged and the employees are SO lazy. I've been in the store many times waiting in a line to check out where one employee is at a register and the other employees are hanging around. Keep in mind they have 4 registers. It might be time to start thinking about implementing self check outs. This store is always very stocked and has a lot of options which makes it a good choice, but I would avoid it if I could. I drove across the street after this to Vons and got what I needed.
