This location is rarely stocked. I've gone a few times for basic things and are not found. Many of their shelves are literally empty. I understand the company is going through some things, but maybe they should consolidate some of their shelves so that they look fuller. Can I just tell you how much smack I've talked about pharmacists and pharmacy workers in my life? Nothing for nothing but in general I view them as slow, not very helpful, not very nice etc and that has been my lifelong experience. But oh how much I love this one guy at this rite aid! I think his name is Ermillio (I'm HORRIBLE with names-fully my fault not his) but he has glasses and he is usually there when I go in the late afternoon. Omg I love this guy! He is SO helpful, SO fast, SO thoughtful, SO smart...I could go on and on. Again I know it doesn't mean much but in my world it's pretty ironic how epic I think he is. This location pharmacy deserves more than 5 stars for their dedication to help me transfer my sons meds from CVS. The female and male staff the only 2 on shift went beyond the scope of their duties to assist with the terrible service from CVS. The staff went to extent to call from multiple lines waited 40min with no response. Then I called pharmacy CVS then suddenly a staff member answers. The pharmacist then took over with my permission then CVS placed them on another 15min hold. The medication I needed for my kid was urgent and these 2 pharmacist made it happen to provide my child his medication before closing time at 9pm. They were so patient to get that transfer request and didn't give up or showed any frustration at all they kept a positive hopeful attitude. I am beyond words of gratitude and appreciation with the customer service at the pharmacy. Highly recommend this location for you're future refills and prescriptions. read more

I love this pharmacy! The staff are always very helpful and kind. They work hard to ensure your prescriptions are done in a timely manner and are always available for consultation. They rarely have lines to pick up. It's located in an easy spot right off of the 805 and you can easily stop, get a Starbucks or Mc Donald's nearby and head back on the road. Overall though it's the staff that makes all the difference--they greet you when you walk in and are kind. * Also it should be noted that I drive an hour from Ensenada to get my prescriptions and the pharmacy always makes sure to bundle my prescriptions so I may pick them up all at the same time. read more

Came in here this past weekend in the hopes of finding a few (hard to find) household utilities, during this pandemic. I was greeted with a smile and a welcome upon entering the store which is sadly rare to come across now a days. The store was very well maintained, and I was easily able to find everything on my list. Every member of staff I encountered throughout the store seemed to be on their game but doing so in a positive way. Very professional and peaceful experience, which was rare to encounter at any store prior to COVID-19, let alone during a crisis! When I need a fix of wine + ice cream this is my go to place. They have the thrifty's ice cream that I grew up loving and a bottle of apothic red.... my go to wine. Beer selection is meh but hey I'm not here for beer if I am here! The people here are always friendly and smiling, I love how they refrain from judging when I pony up to the register with ice cream, chocolate and wine..... I should throw in some batteries and a cat fancy magazine to get them to giggle one day. I also hit the local rite aid when the boy needs something for school and he "forgot" to tell me till ohhhh about 9pm the night before. The service here is mutual nothing that makes any of the employees stand out never felt any of that "oh wow shes really nice" Feeling. This was my first experience with this pharmacy. My sons medication needed a refill but he was visiting his dad. Jasmine, assured me that it would be no problem for her to obtain the order from the other Rite Aid and refill it. We also had a glitch because it was a bit early for the refill. However, Jasmine took care of it and I could tell that she was a person that goes the extra mile for her customers! I need a notebook and a pencil for home use and to take notes for my language lessons. I remember Rite Aid had a section for household items. So, off I am to Rite Aid on Canyon Plaza, Telegraph Canyon road. I found by chance their notebook has a special, buy one get the second one free. And, they also have the same deal for the pack of two mechanical pencil. Now, I have two notebooks for $2.59 and four pencils for $2.69 which includes replacement leads. Is this my lucky day or what? I took my son kayaking at the caves in LA Jolla, it was an amazing trip. My phone is not water proof so I bought water proof cameras and took a bunch of pictures for him to remember this trip with his dad. I filled out the forms and left them in Rite Aids hands. I get a call saying my photos are ready, and when I get there it's some grey hairs trip to the Bahamas in my envelope. The Rite Aid employee says it's ok I'll track it with the number on the negatives, I said how do you plan to do that when the number on the negatives matches the number on my envelope. I have to explain to this guy how those numbers work, and show him that my envelope was torn and retaped and his only chance of finding my pictures is if they are in her envelope by some chance and she says something. I'm now hoping her alzheimers has not kicked in and she remembers she has pictures or answers her landline if they call before 7PM. This sucks. I want to update this review (from 1 to 3 star): The store manager went out of her way to help me after finally hearing about my problem. It took way too much effort on my end to get to this point, but that said once she did hear about it and become engaged she was helpful, fixed the situation by finding my pictures in the the hundreds of envelopes they have and was very prompt with communication. The Pharmacist Heather may know her drugs but she needs to be trained at customer service.
