CVS likes to send me coupons but there is not one near me. When passing through Orange County, this location is right off the Chester exit and I can go in get what I need and get back on the highway. This store has a lot of inventory when it comes to food and snacks. I like to use the self check out because I can get my item and get out fast. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Drive thru *always* closed. I am military with multiple slerosis - Drugstores Near Me - Chester, New York

The cashier and manager at this CVS truly care about the customers that come in. I locked my self out of my car and they both made sure AAA was called and they kept me company while I waited to be unlocked they are genuinely nice people l. read more

Pharmacy is rude. If a customer asks a question it is usually 90% due to not knowing or understanding. The nasty tone and the "yep" when I expressed how grateful I was, was unprofessional and uncalled for. It is not all of the employees but just one will ruin it for others. Although one customer will not change anything, I'm sure other customers feel the same way considering CVS has 2 star reviews. read more

The pharmacy drive-thru is a joke they are so slow it's actually painful I've been sitting here for 10 minutes and not one car has been helped yet. read more

CVS Pharmacy - cars parked in a parking lot - Drugstores Near Me - Chester, New York

The pharmacy staff in Chester NY is so rude and not at all helpful, especially Elizabeth. Spiteful even! I'm not even looking for a simple smile (although it's customer service 101), I am just looking for common courtesy, especially when dealing with Rx. Not sure how they stay afloat, but now I know why everyone is switching to Walgreens across the street. read more

This pharmacy in Chester NY is DISGRACEFUL!!! I had an emergency for a medication I was waiting for after I had come out of the urgent care which was around 5pm, finally my meds were ready around six thirty and they shut their pharmacy down way before the posted hours which was 9pm and this pharmacy had already closed down sometime before 7 0' clock. There has been many issues with this place and this problem needs to be addressed already! read more

Whenever I go to pick up my prescriptions there is a line 10 people long. Doesn't seem to matter what day or time of day. Also the drive through hasn't been working consistently lately. Went this evening and there was no one up front checking people out and the one person working the pharmacy was less than helpful. read more

So awesome that they are retail store and can open later than posted times, close early, and still get their lunch. Would never survive a corporate world schedule. read more

The pharmacy is not included in this review as they are always pleasant, courteous and professional. As far as some of the front-end older women, they need to get new jobs that they like! They typically act miserable and are unfriendly and sure don't make the customer feel welcomed in my opinion. read more

Friendly people in there. Service is very slow at the pharmacy. Medicine has come up short in med bottles. There computer system really sucks!! read more

This CVS is the worst. The pharmacy staff is rude and nasty. When I went to the pharmacy to pick up your meds they said that there was no prescription for me. I called in my refill 4 days before. The tall guy in the front didn't even look. He keeps on changing my refills to auto refill I asked in several times not to do that. He seems to do whatever he wants. I called and spoke to the Assistant manager Laura Pharmacist who seems to be filled with hot air. She doesn't let you get a word in. She talks so much and twists the story around to make it look like you are wrong. It was getting so ugly she said to watch myself she will give me the wrong meds or make my prescription disappear. read more

An established company like CVS in Chester, NY should do their best to employ more professional as well as more understanding staff. As other reviewers have written, professionalism and compassion can be very lacking from some of the recent or temporary staff. The new Asian girl at the drive thru tells every person that picks up their prescriptions to "have fun." What does that even mean? Is she implying that everyone on prescription medication is a junkie? What ever happened to thank you Sir or Madam and have a nice day? This idiot must think that we're going to go home, pop a few pills and reach everlasting bliss with our doctor's prescription medication? Is professionalism a thing of the past? I think it's time for CVS to fire another temporary worker again. Good luck at your next job kid! read more

CVS of Chester Brookside first is full of liars, including the manager and all of the older women that work at the registers. They lied about having gotten hand sanitizer/alcohol. etc. delivered during pandemic, lied about what time it would be available and would run out. I explained to a customer that the truck had already come and left before 8am, I saw it. That for weeks now one every thursday they tell customers the items won't be shelved until about noon, however, they are given to employees first, then they run out prior to noon every thursday. So I was going to wait till they brought it out. Then the female manager with long light brown hair, proceeded to call cops and told them that I was harassing a customer, they told me I had to leave store based on lies! I then sent my husband 10 minutes later, and as I said they were handing out the sanitizer to employees first, then my husband listened to the two old cashiers with short bleach blond hair and the manager conspire to lie, so that if I made a formal complaint, they would all lie to have eachother's backs and make me the wrong one! They are all miserable and hate their jobs, they should all be fired, including the manager. It is illegal to make a false police report against someone!! And CVS is a Price Gouger!! They have been found guilty of it in the past, so safe your receipts and register any complaints on the website for price gouging. I filed a complaint about the lies and treatment, Had a receipt to prove they lied about having the antibacterial sanitzer, and the corporate office never responded!! CVS is a horrible, dishonest company that allows it's employees to get away with breaking the law and harassing customers, especially chester, NY location......don't go there!! Pharmacist is just as bad!! She illegally discriminates against mental health patients!! She purposely fills scripts a day early, I never pick them up early, always on 30th day! But, she still will play games and hold script till 31st day just to mess with a mental health patient that has a controlled substance. She is causing people with issues to have more problems, mental distress and physical sickness, from not having their medications when they are due. I am not the only person she has done this to, there have been formal complaints filed against her for doing these things to different mental health patients, with different controlled meds, with MVP insurance and Infinity Insurance. She even purposely destroyed the image of my script on the 30th day at 9:00 am so I would have to worry if my doctor was able to get a new script sent over before they closed and might go sick without my meds when they were due for use before they opened on the next day, the 31st day. CVS is liable for discrimation against mental health and disabled patients due to her actions!! Yet, we should be held to law/regulations and find another pharmacy if we have a problem. She is the problem and should be fired!!! She should be held to the highest standard of the law, she is the licensed paid professional!! Patients should not be allowed to be discriminated against by pharmacist, or have to find another pharmacy!! This is a pattern with this pharmacist. We should all get together and sue CVS for discrimination against mental health/disabled patients. This pharmacist, the manager and all the old lady miserable cashiers should be fired!!! This whole Chester CVS needs an overhaul of employees, they are all dishonest, discriminating, miserable, and they are all liable both criminally and under civil laws. Please make sure to file complaints formally against this pharmacist. The only female licensed pharmacist at this Chester location, Audra or Audrey? CVS needs to fire all of them, they are liars, they are horrible racist and discriminate against the ill and disabled. CVS Should be sued by class action, Fire them already!!! read more

Love the pharmacy staff here especially Kristin and Steven. They are always helpful. They recently couldn't fill a prescription and transferred it to another pharmacy for me. I think the new staff they have here now are more caring and considerate than the previous reviews. I do wish the store portion would stop with all the paper coupons and just have more competitive pricing on a regular basis. read more

I've been a client of this CVS for what it seems as forever. They have very nice folks working at the pharmacy especially Jim & Steven who head that team. However, when they are not there, the substitutes often really don't care about providing any kind of customer care or better said, conducting there jobs as they should. I had my husband go there to fill a script for me for pain last weekend. Upon giving the script to the subbing pharm, the pharm told him "we don't have any now and can't fill it till Tuesday (it was Saturday evening). Take it somewhere else to be filled". My husband what taken aback by this persons lack of concern and tone and more importantly, that my script would not be filled. I was even more surprised because the medication requires, like most, it be taken as prescribed without a skipped dose. But that was where I was headed. I called the sub pharm explaining the same and asking him to provide a solution to my problem. He said he couldn't do anything about. I told him that was unsatisfactory and that I was going to call his corporate office because of his lack of concern for the effect a missed dose would cause and his failure to even consider or offer to call another CVS on my behalf to see if it could be filled somewhere else! I had my husband pick up the script and then spent the rest of my evening trying to find a branch that could fill it with no luck. I finally got it filled by a nearby branch 2 days later. They had it (the medication) all along. Therefore if the sub pharm would have cared to do his job with a little compassion, I would have had my medication when I needed it and I would not have had to complain to his corporate office. I also would not have exhausted myself making calls to over 25 CVS stores. That, for the most part, treated me 10x's better than the local one and whom I've been a client of for more than 7 years. PS: It's now over a week and no one has contacted me about my complaint. read more

Had a terrible experience at this location. Called and was told pharmacy closed at 9pm. Got there a few minutes after 6pm and pharmacy was closed. Leaving for a trip next morning & needed meds. Store manager Lindsey was very abrupt and rude. Told me I should have planned better. Was not willing to call another cvs to help me out. Horrible customer service & very poor management.
