This store is a wonderful asset to our neighborhood. Not only do they have a lot of variety and some things you don't find in all stores , they also have the best employees who really care about you . My interactions with the cashiers and lead supervisor Jeremy & the blond lady who is always there among all of the employees make you happy to shop . The produce is really well taken care of and the small hot wing bar carries some nice last minute party side needs . Bake shop -I miss the old on site cake decorator they had, but everything from here as well as the meat and fish dept are ALWAYS fresh and yums!!! Thank you for such a great store read more

It's convenient. That is the biggest plus and it's clean. They lack variety of vegetables, fruits, and non perishables. I get that you want to sell what people buy, but it's nice to try different things to see if anyone is interested. The quality of produce is usually not the best and is pricier than Shoprite who has better prices, quality, and variety. I get this is a small store with limited inventory and average products in a small town. I do really appreciate their return policy that if something spoils, they fully refund you the cost you paid - doubled. Again, it's a go-to for basic items that are needed and is close by my home. Great quality product, produce, fruit and veg, along with great meats. Well thought out floor plan and the place is clean. The prices might be slightly higher than other markets but the quality of their products makes up for that. Come here and find what you are looking for. The deli section is great and their prepared food is fantastic. Great fried chicken. Rotisserie chicken and turkey. You can't go wrong here. read more

Great store with friendly customer service. Clean store and employees who are always helpful. Given how busy the pharmacy is, I am impressed with how patient, helpful and cheerful the employees are. It cannot be an easy job because often the line to pick up prescriptions are long and the wait can be long. No one likes waiting, but I note the employees are very busy-none are sitting behind the counter drinking coffee and chatting on their phones. Thank you. read more

The Hannaford pharmacy is the absolute worst. The lack of the ability to contact the customer when unable to fill a prescription is unacceptable. On more than one occasion, after giving the pharmacy 24 plus hours to fill a prescription, I've arrived at the counter to find out they don't have the medication in stock. The girls behind the counter are rude and don't care enough to apologize. They let you know you can call your doctor for a substitution if you would like because they haven't or that they called and haven't received a call back from your Dr.. My Dr. Office denied receiving a call. I'm going to use CVS from now on for all my prescriptions. Their notifications may be automated, but they communicate in real time to the status of your order. read more

Nice service. Nice people. They have a good white cheese selection. Their deserts are always delicious. Especially the pies. We usually go get a pie or a cake, if we are doing a take out for the night. And yesterday we tried the s'mores chocolate pie. Do try it. The marshmallow on top melts in your mouth. I would say don't change the price and advertise your pies more, because they are delicious. They have fresh vegetables and fruits. Clean spot to do grocery shopping. read more

Your location Hannaford Pharmacy 78 Oak St, Walden, NY 12586, United States Pharmacy I went to this Pharmacy on Tuesday 12/8/2020 in order to get a Shingles Vaccine. There were no other customers there. I was told there would be a wait time of no less than a half hour and likely up to an hour because they were "busy." There were three staff in attendance and each was glued zombie like to their computers. This has happened to me at least four previous times at this location. Once for a shot that took 45 minutes for them to get to me, again no other customers in sight, and other occasions for medications I called in. I would think that a regular customer would get a higher priority treatment. Especially since they stress "no appointment nesessary." Live customers here get extremely shabby treatment. I left, went to Walgreens in Montgomery, was treated in a most friendly manner, and was in and out in 25 minutes. Walgreens will now be my Pharmacy of choice. Overall grade at Walden Hannaford's Pharmacy taking into account previous experiences... F. Interestingly they don't seem to have that many customers. Gee! I wonder why. read more

The rewards program for Hannaford's is good. The store is clean.They have gotten pretty good now with stocking shelves. When we was hit with covid March -June the shelves was bare which is understandable. People just went nuts for toilet paper which was a little absurd. No smiling here. I just wish they would be a little more happy they are still working and I praise them for doing the hours they did and still continue to do. I went to get a 4 pick lotto number from an older women at the register and I was like torching her with a match. I pick a number that was sold out and I tried to make small talk ... not happening. I could not think of a number quick enough so that was probably annoying. The stuff on sale you have to watch the dates. Fully stocked in the meat section. I give it a 5 star because they are working hard and deserve it even if I do not get a greeting from any employee. Cheers!!!! read more

I like this store but there is a lot of empty shelfs I really enjoy Koffee Kup donuts and the self is always empty great jelly donuts and butter milk donuts it is always a hit and miss and also they have cut back on Keebler cookies and replaced them with their own brand I do not know if it because it is a smaller store but there is never full shelfs and the ordering is inconsistent the Deli and the meat dept are great! read more
